I love the black dress! Your thrift flips are really great. So often you see people 'upcycling' clothing but then just cutting up something that was very unique into something flimsy and generic, but you really just make cool pieces into other cool or just better fitting pieces. No downcycling here!
I love how the changes felt small (most of them) but they made such a big difference. I’m not a big fan of seeing all of the afters at the end, I’d rather see them right away after each item is being done because my impatient ass can’t wait that long haha😅
Oh, and you asked for ideas for the leopard fabric scraps: You could make little bows or similar elements to attach to the top of the pearl earrings. This should look cute on its own and killer together with one of the leopard tops.
Yes or a scrunchie! I prefer hair bows but I've seen a lot of people make matching scrunchies. If it were me I'd use a square or triangle piece of the fabric as a hair scarf!
Oh no no, Hamtaro should not retire, it's the cutest little detail~ I think my favourite is the prom dress, you totally brought it into this century and it looks fabulous! Oh and yes from me for bringing in the waist on the black dress^^
Listen, I was very unsure about that blue 80s dress but girl you changed my mind after you altered it 💖 the fur collar also completely elevated that tan coat and I loveee it
The black babydoll dress looks great. If it’s not stretchy but you still want a more fitted waist maybe you can sew some ties on the waist to tie behind your back?
Wow I honestly wasn't sure about the 80's dress in the before but the transformation was insane!! It's so pretty and youthful now! Congrats on 10k you definitely deserve it ✨
I really like your channel and your flips - as someone without a lot of interest in making detailed plans, and without sewing skills, I do appreciate your intuitive approach and simple solutions much more than detailed tutorials. Thank you 🙃
Love it ! for that black dress, since you were talking about versatile clothing, you could just add two safety fin to the sides of the waistband, tread a ruban through them to cinch it in and then nod it at the back ! I've seen a couple of those diys on TikTok, they're really easy and reversible
Round-nose pliers are one of the best crafting tools! You'll be able to have fine-tuned control of all sorts of projects. & thank you for uplifting the humble safety pin 🧷
I loved the jacket fur flip. It expands your wardrobe with just a tweak :) Also, I think you should make a scrunchie with the left over leopard fabric.
You could use the remaining fabric from the leopard dress to make it into a belt or something. I think it would look really good to wear any of the two tops with a cute pair of jeans and then the matching belt.
Hamtaro is the winner 😂🧡 and should def stay!!! Loved seeing these flips. I think I prefer the tank of the leopard print, but that’s me projecting my anxiety about strapless tops haha. This isn’t a flip, but I was super proud of myself for finally taking my fave jeans into the tailor to get a new zipper (something I’d put off for over a year) and I love having them in my wardrobe again.
please don't feel embarrassed, many of us have a pile of clothes that would take max 30 min per piece to mend/flip that have been sitting there for a while (2 years) 🥲 also you're my comfort channel fixation right now that I go to when I don't know what to watch or when nothing feels good
These turned out super! I really like the faux fur collar to the coat! Of course i like the black dress on you. Just more waist emphasis, is my preference. I actually wore baby doll dresses in the 90s, & someone thought i was pregnant, when i was NOT. I want the skirt! Nice leopard print tops & earrings. I wore a bubble prom dress in the late 80s, so nope on that for me. It looks grand on you!
I make jewelry and I love the earrings! So simple but it would be a great way to show off the beads and they're such an elegant shape! Small fabric scraps would be great for making scrunchies (big or small) or a headband. Or you can make tiny bags like for storing jewelry or other small items
These are so cute! If you would want the black dress to fit your waist somehow, I think that it would be a good idea to add like an inch wide of fabric ( idk what it is called ) but like a long fabric attached to the sides of the waist, the you can tie it to have a fitted look
Congrats on 10k! My favorite was probably the tube top- it just seems like it'll become a really practical layering piece. Def keep Hamtaro, he's a cutie.
Soooo excited for your styling ideas for the princess dress and the colorful skirt. I immediately had to think of your layering video, like, putting a second, longer skirt or even dress under the 80ies dress. Very inspiring, again!
I discovered your channel like two days ago with the layering video and i've watched like ten videos and i'm absolutely obsessed with your style!!!❤️❤️
I recently started made a small handbag / belt bag with leftover fabric from a dress to skirt thriftflip. Its not done yet, but I think having a bag that fits the skirt (or top) would be really cool. Alternatively, you could make a scrunchy or other hair accessoire, or even a belt that fits with your top. Depending on how much fabric you have left over.
You should make scrunchies with the leftover fabric! They're super simple and I bet that there are thousands if not millions of tutorials on yt... Love your channel btww
I love what you've done, you make it look so easy! On the black dress, as I was watching your before and after I was thinking "I would take the waist in a little" just before you said it on the video. And although I can't wear tube tops myself because I cannot go without a bra and have never found a strapless that actually holds my girls up, I love the two tops you made out of the dress!
I love that you just go for it and don’t overcomplicate the process with any of these- very brave and inspiring!! ❤😊 I highly recommend jewelry pliers that have a “smooth jaw”- couldn’t see if yours had teeth (ridges on the inside of the metal that grip), but a lot of “toolbox” pliers have them, and they leave unwanted dents in the metal jewelry components. You can get jewelry pliers with teeth, but for these reasons, a pair with a smooth jaw is the way to go imo 👌😊
I also have a huge pile of clothing to be altered and this was very inspirational - I’m happy I found your channel!! I love the black dress and would vote for bringing the waist in! Also I like leopard print top B, but I think A would look even cuter if you maybe tapered the edges a little bit so it’s more fitted and the bottom hem doesn’t flare out. Also, hello from a fellow Wisconsinite transplant to DC! 💛
Oh just discovered your channel the other day and I find your content and creations so refreshing. Also plz make scrunchies with the left over fabric that would be to cute.
Please do NOT retire Hamtaro, I love him so much 🥹❤ Also great tips, I have zero experience with sewing but these flips seem so easy I might even try!!
Omg. I’ve only watched a couple of your videos and was going to subscribe anyway, but the Buffy costume sealed the deal for me to subscribe immediately. Now I need to find out if you’re team Spuffy or Bangel.....
I would’ve change the neckline on that blue dress and tame the Puffy sleeves down a bit to cute dress but I don’t like the neckline I think it’s too high the one that you compared it with that had a better neckline straight across would look way better and you could even make that into a two piece instead of keeping it a one piece
New subscriber here! I'm about to turn 50 - not your key demographic! - but I love your videos and energy and you have inspired me to be more bold with my mixing and matching and to just generally have more fun with my outfits. I mean, there's got to be a little bit of overlap between cool artsy weird girls and artsy eccentric middle agers, right? And never, never lose Hamtaro, he is everything
9:33 Love hamtaro! I haven't watched it in 15 years or so haha, it was on toonami for a bit! But it is super cute! And just a love of Anime in general. PLUS i have literally seen people use a dagger as means to hold a microphone (reinassance youtuber) so i doubt a little hamster is something to consider removing!
I love the Hamtaro mic, truly iconic. He's so cute. I vote he stays. Also absolutely adore the skirt and 80s dress flips! They're both so stunning, and you look super adorable in them!

Right?? Some people really think whipping out a pair of scissors then not hemming anything is an improvement.
I love how the changes felt small (most of them) but they made such a big difference.
I’m not a big fan of seeing all of the afters at the end, I’d rather see them right away after each item is being done because my impatient ass can’t wait that long haha😅
It's more altering/tailoring than what I think of as upcycling
Oh, and you asked for ideas for the leopard fabric scraps: You could make little bows or similar elements to attach to the top of the pearl earrings. This should look cute on its own and killer together with one of the leopard tops.
Or just hair bows!
Yes or a scrunchie! I prefer hair bows but I've seen a lot of people make matching scrunchies. If it were me I'd use a square or triangle piece of the fabric as a hair scarf!
the clip on earring to necklace hack is so smart!!!
Yooo the clipon earring necklace hack is genius i can finally wear my grandmas earrings ive been holding onto for years🎉
Oh no no, Hamtaro should not retire, it's the cutest little detail~
I think my favourite is the prom dress, you totally brought it into this century and it looks fabulous! Oh and yes from me for bringing in the waist on the black dress^^
mr. hamtaro, i promise you that not all kathleens believe you've reached the end of your reign. FOUR MORE YEARS! FOUR MORE YEARS!
If you want a small sewing project, scrunchies are fun and easy!
That 80's dress would look so cool with a casual turtleneck layered underneath!!
I think from the leftover material you should make a matching bandana/headscarf! It would be really cute
I LOVE HAMTARO
Wow I honestly wasn't sure about the 80's dress in the before but the transformation was insane!! It's so pretty and youthful now! Congrats on 10k you definitely deserve it ✨
Leopard print ribbons out of the leftover fabric
Or a scrunchie!
your thrift flips are always so good!!!!! the scraps from the cheetah dress might make cute hair ribbons🤔
I really like your channel and your flips - as someone without a lot of interest in making detailed plans, and without sewing skills, I do appreciate your intuitive approach and simple solutions much more than detailed tutorials. Thank you 🙃
Love the prom dress transformation! And hamtaro is so cute, we love him 💕
Love it ! for that black dress, since you were talking about versatile clothing, you could just add two safety fin to the sides of the waistband, tread a ruban through them to cinch it in and then nod it at the back ! I've seen a couple of those diys on TikTok, they're really easy and reversible
Round-nose pliers are one of the best crafting tools! You'll be able to have fine-tuned control of all sorts of projects.
& thank you for uplifting the humble safety pin 🧷
If the loops on the earrings ever bother you too much, a ribbon tied into a bow on top would look cute.
You are so creative young lady. I am 61 and adore your taste and applaud your talent 👏👏👏👏
Black dress just needs a belt or ribbon ties at the waist. Then you have options.
I love that fun colorful skirt- can't wait to see all the ways you'll wear it!
Really love how that prom dress turned out!! Also love the positive thinking that I may find my own perfectly fitting 80s prom dress for cheap 🙏😊
You could make a scrunchie out of the leftover fabric 🤗
The prom dress is awesome. The leopard top I prefer the first one.
for small scraps of fabric, you can do scrunchies, headbands or hairbows! if that's your style :)
I loved the jacket fur flip. It expands your wardrobe with just a tweak :)
Also, I think you should make a scrunchie with the left over leopard fabric.
You could use the remaining fabric from the leopard dress to make it into a belt or something. I think it would look really good to wear any of the two tops with a cute pair of jeans and then the matching belt.
I think that the second project is supposed to be a dress because i also have something like that but it ended up cute 😍

Literally DID just find your channel last week but I'm so happy I did!
I make jewelry and I love the earrings! So simple but it would be a great way to show off the beads and they're such an elegant shape!
Small fabric scraps would be great for making scrunchies (big or small) or a headband. Or you can make tiny bags like for storing jewelry or other small items
if you have enough scrap fabric you can use it for head scarves or scrunchies
These are so cute! If you would want the black dress to fit your waist somehow, I think that it would be a good idea to add like an inch wide of fabric ( idk what it is called ) but like a long fabric attached to the sides of the waist, the you can tie it to have a fitted look
Scrunchies for leftover leopard dress material?
Congrats on 10k! My favorite was probably the tube top- it just seems like it'll become a really practical layering piece.

I discovered your channel like two days ago with the layering video and i've watched like ten videos and i'm absolutely obsessed with your style!!!❤️❤️
You should make a scrunchie using the scrap fabric from the dress turned into two tops!
I love that black dress, but I would take in the waist a bit. I like the leopard top with straps best. And I love the fur on the coat.
You should make scrunchies with the leftover fabric! They're super simple and I bet that there are thousands if not millions of tutorials on yt... Love your channel btww
THE DRESSSS!!! it looks perfect, im manifesting a find like that so hard right now🙏🏻✨
I love what you've done, you make it look so easy! I think the prom dress would look even better with some tulle in the bubble to give it volume.
Safety pins are so OP. I have a lace collar necklace thing that sucks as a necklace, but I safety pinned it to a beret and that works so perfectly 🥰
I found your channel through your thrift flips! This is so much fun, thanks for the inspo :)
god that prom dress is so damn cute i love what you did with it it's so adorable, i'd love to wear something like that
I also have a huge pile of clothing to be altered and this was very inspirational - I’m happy I found your channel!! I love the black dress and would vote for bringing the waist in! Hair scrunchies for little pieces of leftover fabric
i literally found your channel yesterday, and i absolutely LOVE hamtaro on your mic
the maxi skirt is lovely!! also obsessed with the leopard print tops and puffy prom dress - so cute
You did a amazing job! That blue dress❤
Omg can’t wait to watch after work!! ✨♻️
Scrunchee, headband or coin purse with your leftover fabric.
Oh just discovered your channel the other day and I find your content and creations so refreshing. Also plz make scrunchies with the left over fabric that would be to cute.
Please do NOT retire Hamtaro, I love him so much 🥹❤
Also great tips, I have zero experience with sewing but these flips seem so easy I might even try!!
you could make scrunchies from the leftover dress fabric? or like long straps to use as ribbons in your hair?
You make me want to learn how to sew.
so many creative ideas i can see myself doing! great vid
choker leopad print is the one !
You could just add elastic to the baby doll dress at the waist If you didn’t want to take the time to take it in.
keep thefirst black dress as it is ! :)
Omg. I’ve only watched a couple of your videos and was going to subscribe anyway, but the Buffy costume sealed the deal for me to subscribe immediately. Now I need to find out if you’re team Spuffy or Bangel.....
So glad I found your channel! Your style is very similar to mine, so I get really inspired 😊 and love the creativity with your video formats
You have super crafty talent , it all looks great !! O__ Keep The Mic !! Its you !! Thanks for the video .
Later , Dreamer
I would’ve change the neckline on that blue dress and tame the Puffy sleeves down a bit to cute dress but I don’t like the neckline I think it’s too high the one that you compared it with that had a better neckline straight across would look way better and you could even make that into a two piece instead of keeping it a one piece

Prom dress!!
Please gimme some of your inspiration. My Upcycle pile is not a pile anymore, its a big Box. xD
Do u think I could just pin the prom just without sewing it
Hamtaro IS king!! 🐹👑 He can reign for at least another 4 years.
9:33 Love hamtaro! I haven't watched it in 15 years or so haha, it was on toonami for a bit! But it is super cute! And just a love of Anime in general. PLUS i have literally seen people use a dagger as means to hold a microphone (reinassance youtuber) so i doubt a little hamster is something to consider removing!
ps. I was today years old when i found your channel!
I’m sure your mom’s a lovely lady, but please don’t listen to her bc yes we love Hamtaro!!! Also love these Thrift Flips/DIYs you’re so creative!
❤❤❤
I love the Hamtaro mic, truly iconic. He's so cute. I vote he stays.
Also absolutely adore the skirt and 80s dress flips! They're both so stunning, and you look super adorable in them!
BUUUFFFY SOUNDING OFF
I liked the tranformation but the ombre effect of the pinkish violet to blue in the bottom got taken away and hence the before looks better to me🥲
