Great job, as always! If it were me, I would add a lining to the vest, so it’s a little more finished or sturdy. You can make a second vest out of a different fabric, exactly how you made this one, and sew them wrong sides together and it can be reversible.
She star embroidery looks sooo cute and completely changed the "feel" of the shirt! Seeing your thrift flips is inspiring me so much to take better care of my clothes and giving them second lives 💖
Okay it’s wild how removing the collar made that blouse so much better!! It just lets the sleeves finally shine and changes the whole shape. You’re making me think how removing is sometimes better than adding when a piece doesn’t work. Also the earring stones match your eyes so good choice 🤗
These are really really effective. I think your vest is just right, as the shirt is oversized the vest looks perfect as it is. I like the shooting star as it is too because shooting stars move so off centre is perfect 👏👏👏👏
omg i didn't know how the poofy shirt was gonna look without a collar but it looks AMAZING! you totally elevated it, it looks like a fancy designer piece now or something. i've also never sewn a vest before but it seems like it's a lot more simple than i was thinking so i need to try it out sometime!!
next time when you have a plain shirt to flip you should try bleach painting the design! i literally love bleach painting shirts cause its super cool and it makes the designs look more alt :))
this is one of my favourite channels right now!! our styles aren't all that similar but you still inspire me so much and you are just so sweet and fun to watch
@beepworld hehe thanks.♡ My Inspiration: I have a couple of "faux layer" shirts in my closet w/ a white collar and sleeves - excellent for effortless dressing up or down. I have always wanted a dress like that. You'd definitely be able to rock it! :3
I just recently found your channel and omgg your style is so amazing, I love how you put together outfits and the vest is my personal favorite here 🥰 You could make a „fake collar“ out of the collar, you can just add a bow in the front. I did that too with a collar I removed from a blouse and endet up wearing it a lot. It’s so cute 🐒
The vest was really impressive and the size is perfect! I feel energized to try this project. Love that you got some jewelry pliers. Now you can turn out earrings quickly anytime you feel inspired.
My favourites are the vest (love that fabric!) and the earrings. Me and my sisters had a phase where we were really into making seed bead necklaces, so there are a lot of beads and other jewellery making supplies at my mum's house. I think next time I'm visiting I'll go make some earrings myself! Btw love the dating show intro ⚡️⚡️⚡️
I love your thrift flips. They always make me feel like I can go make something even if I have no idea what I'm doing. My favorite this time around is also the blouse- it looks so much neater without the collar. I also really liked the bead earring but I've also come into a crap ton of beads since a family member gave me some old necklaces and this seems like a good one to copy.
Woohoo jewellery pliers! You are one step ahead of me on that :DD I do vote for the collar removal as well~ It was so neat and effective! Also, it's no problem that you made similar earrings, you should be doing whatever you want and they're cute. I was actually a little surprised that you didn't line the vest. Can't wait to see you style it, the combination with the white shirt was already fantastic.
I love the star shirt! I actually like it off centered too, it makes it look extra cozy:) if you ever do merch, you should get secondhand shirts or sthg and embroider them, that would be so cute :) ❤
That green vest is so adorable! I am impressed with your craftiness, and it makes me want to do crafty things too, although actions speak louder than words lol. I also think removing the poofy shirt collar was excellent. It was a small change but added so much to the overall look! Fun video!!
Loved the introduction to this 🤣the imposters were my fave! I love the simplicity of these flips and how impactful the changes were! I have a rainbow collection of embroidery thread that I never actually used for embroidery (wow), but this inspired me to give it a go!
Yessss once again, amazing video, love love love your content 🥰 also I LOVE cutting the collars off of button-ups, I’ve been doing this to a lot of my husbands old shirts that he no longer wears, as well as cutting off the sleeves so that they’re more of a sleeveless/vest vibe and it’s SO flattering!
I recently found an old blouse in a giveaway box on the street. It had a nice color and pattern, but the collar looked weird and the cut around the bust and waist wasn't flattering for me. This video plus your video about layering inspired me to simply remove the collar and now I'm excited to wear the blouse under other garments like dresses or overalls, so I can show off the fun sleeves
I know this video is a year old but I feel like you could make a neat bracelet with the collar? you could add beads or embroidery to it and a little button and have like a chunky but soft comfy bracelet!
Absolutely love the puffy sleeve blouse and I agree it looks better without the collar. Where did you get it, btw? I've been looking for a blouse like that for ages, but the are never puffy enough!
You're my fave clothing RUclipsr! Idk if you noticed or care, but I notice your white balance is high, I'm losing details in your white clothes and a little bit in your skin and face. If it's a stylistic choice or a limit on your tech ignore me! But if you haven't noticed and want to try adjusting, give it a try! No obligation at all! Keep up the good work! I love tuning in! (Ps I love you design your embroidery, I definitely don't and it bites me heheh)
Hey Liz, where did you get the jewelry pliers, and what's the brand? I could use some to make my own beaded jewelry and fix the chains I always break. ^^;

Omg that vest?? The whimsy?? Delightful
*That cherry pattern would make a nice thin coat liner for a pop of color.*
Taking the collar off an over-sized and overly fabricy shirt is a stroke of genius!!
Great job, as always! If it were me, I would add a lining to the vest, so it’s a little more finished or sturdy. You can make a second vest out of a different fabric, exactly how you made this one, and sew them wrong sides together and it can be reversible.
What a great idea to remove that collar! I never would have thought of that. Absolutely love the shirt and obsessed with the earrings!! Nice job!
You’re quickly becoming my favorite RUclipsr and I haven’t had that since Ashley (bestdressed). Thank you for comfort videos and inspiration 🫶🏽
i miss her
She star embroidery looks sooo cute and completely changed the "feel" of the shirt! Seeing your thrift flips is inspiring me so much to take better care of my clothes and giving them second lives 💖
removing the collar from the poufy shirt was the perfect choice ugh i love that top SO MUCH
also i really want a vest but i’m scared i’m not a vest girlie sigh, i need to get to a thrift store soon
Okay it’s wild how removing the collar made that blouse so much better!! It just lets the sleeves finally shine and changes the whole shape. You’re making me think how removing is sometimes better than adding when a piece doesn’t work. Also the earring stones match your eyes so good choice 🤗
Great flips. I actually like the shooting star slightly off center. It's more interesting and looks deliberate.
The removed collar on mutton sleeve blouse makes such a massive difference, it looks so much more comfortable
Love the blouse without the collar, you were so right that it's better without it!
I also love the vest and the earrings! ❤
Gotta vote for the star off center too! Unbelievably cute!!!
These are really really effective. I think your vest is just right, as the shirt is oversized the vest looks perfect as it is. I like the shooting star as it is too because shooting stars move so off centre is perfect 👏👏👏👏
Love the vest! I don't know if it's the right fabric but a matching pair of shorts would be so cute!! 🤩
Poofy white blouse 👚 ❤
Great job for all of them!
omg i didn't know how the poofy shirt was gonna look without a collar but it looks AMAZING! you totally elevated it, it looks like a fancy designer piece now or something. i've also never sewn a vest before but it seems like it's a lot more simple than i was thinking so i need to try it out sometime!!
Long thin dangly earrings are 100% superior
next time when you have a plain shirt to flip you should try bleach painting the design! i literally love bleach painting shirts cause its super cool and it makes the designs look more alt :))
The vest stole the show for me 😍 Dying to make my own now!
this is one of my favourite channels right now!! our styles aren't all that similar but you still inspire me so much and you are just so sweet and fun to watch
the remove collar is game changer!
my favourite was the simplicity of the earrings! it really worked well!!
I'd apply that white collar to a dress or sweater in a different color!
@beepworld hehe thanks.♡ My Inspiration: I have a couple of "faux layer" shirts in my closet w/ a white collar and sleeves - excellent for effortless dressing up or down. I have always wanted a dress like that. You'd definitely be able to rock it! :3
I love the little star of center it is soo cute and that vest with a bow from the same fabric would look stunning
If you fold up and sew a tshirt hem BEFORE cutting off the excess fabric, it can help a lot with that weird wavy stretchy thing at the hem
loved the tip that embroidery is kind of like drawing with thread!
I just recently found your channel and omgg your style is so amazing, I love how you put together outfits and the vest is my personal favorite here 🥰

I love those ear rings

i’m impressed you thrifted such a pristine white shirt, i always avoid thrifting white bc everything looks so yellow and gross😅
Loved the introduction to this 🤣the imposters were my fave! I love the simplicity of these flips and how impactful the changes were! I have a rainbow collection of embroidery thread that I never actually used for embroidery (wow), but this inspired me to give it a go!
The collar would be a perfect hair bow
recently found your channel and loving all your fashion/thrifty/diy content!
Out of this world !!!!! Luv ur creations ... specially those earrings... so talented girl....
for the vest i suggest using a broach to close it and to add a little detail!
Would totally add some fabric straps so you can have a cute front tie closure!
