+Mike Troncin Why was that so outrageous that he did that? I never got that it was so weird of him to jump up on the couch--- he's an emotional guy. Yes, he is certainly detached from reality but really emotional too.
Wow, this aired during my first December, I wasn't even a year old, and there's a good chance my parents could've been watching this back in the day(as KTLA was a station I fondly remember from my earliest of years).
Wow-- Stephanie Edwards has such a strong voice and presence. It's been 15 yrs since ive been in CA., but I'd recognize her voice anywhere, didn't she do Vons ads too?

The Story of Christmas: It's GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT! Looks like Michael Vale (Dunkin Donuts, Breakstones) was in the ad for Angels. But WHY did you have to give us the gift of that creepy Pepsi Snowman now it's going to stay in my head forever. Merry Christmas to you too pal!

Next week will be the last time Stephanie Edwards and Bob Eubanks will be hosting the ROse Parade. Eubanks will have 50 years on national TV in 2016 as Newlywed Game debuted in 1966. He might want to pull a Barker and decide to retire from TV after 50 years on national TV.
this year was bob and stephanie's last year. they're handing it off to new peeps next year. it's hard to imagine a show without them, but I knew it had to end someday.
Just think: we voluntarily watch this stuff now, but back when they were actually on TV and real money was being paid to air them, nobody cared and we were off in the kitchen or doing what comes naturally in the can.
The truth is that they were better, more entertaining and more relevant to popular culture as a whole, regardless of whether people thought of them as disposable at the time.

When are people going to understand that living snowmen only work in animation, never live action?
