Hail, adventurers! Join me and my death metal bard, Nathan Explosion, for a serene and relaxing wander through the arid hills of the Sword Coast in Baldur's Gate 3! The environs we explore in today's video are early in the game, and I try to keep things fairly spoiler-free except for a few broad plot points and one corpse I couldn't hide. Enjoy!

This game has blown away my high expectations as someone who’s played tabletop D&D for 30+ years and has played BG1 & BG2 with all the expansions countless times. I’m absolutely amazed at what Larian has achieved. Incredible.

I never had friends who played D&D and have never played a game quite like this. I'm absolutely addicted. My only downfall is spending so much time researching and trying to understand certain mechanics. Love the video!

My buddy and I tried to beat BG: Dark Alliance when we were like 8-9, it was so difficult in the latter stages. I should probably give this one a try it, looks pretty swell 👌

Not sure if it's still going on. But intotheam had a promo for a free month t-shirt subscription. The design is an astronaut playing at an arcade cabinet. Code was freemonth. Doesn't cover flat rate shipping so for U.S. I know the cost of the shirt totaled $3 something. Great way to try their shirts out or get a 5th one like me if you love their stuff.
I just got a 4090 TUF (your unboxing inspired me) and now I’m wanting to run some eye candy games.
My only concern is that I’ve never played one of these games before, and I worry that I’ll not get into it/understand it.
I tried watching a review of the game, but the gameplay I was shown seems a bit lackluster. Maybe I just saw some lame footage or something.

Do you have any camera mod?
DOS2 was cool, but Larian has obviously gone completely off the rails for BG3. The environments are crazy, combat is fun, the insane amount of voicework and cutscenes... I think the only times I have been this immersed in a story was Witcher 3 and CP2077. I am glad this game is long, I love all the characters and I know I am gonna be miserable when it's over

You can play this game with a controller?
I've tried both and honestly prefer it with controller. Mainly because the camera control with keyboard and mouse is pretty awkward.

Exactly 3:00 of ad, actually, from 3:30-7:30, which I timestamped in the video description and with chapter markers to make it easy to skip! Three minutes of ad in 28:30 of content (excluding my channel supporter thanks at the end) is a smidge over 10%, which I don't think is unreasonable. Now, I admit that this video is shorter than my norm, and I wouldn't want to go over that 10% threshold, but the fact is that I simply hadn't had time to progress further in the game yet. I'll try to make the next one longer :)
