Saw this and instantly clicked. Can't believe its been this long. I remember when it came out how much time I spent in this game exploring, crafting spells, gathering and discovering as many artifacts and rare quests as I could. No other game in the world from it's décor to music to characters has left a bigger imprint on me. Thanks so much for keeping it alive!
It's so cool how you can just walk through this game and give an extensive lore breakdown of random plants and animals. It's a testament to how much you love this game, and that's really awesome to see in a video!
Morrowind for me is my all time favorite game. I remember booting it up for the first time on the original Xbox on a Saturday night. Man those were the days. Happy anniversary Morrowind! Thank you for this Nick
Apologies for my very belated reply, but thank you so much!! I'm glad you enjoy my content and my voice, and I hope what I put out continues to relax you 😊 Your videos are super relaxing too, I've really enjoyed your MTG unboxings and I just saw you did a Nintendo game collection vid, I'll which I'll have to check out!
@@theASMRnerd No worries at all! I could listen to you talk about just about anything so I'm sure your content will be amazing to me no matter what the subject 🤗 I'm glad you enjoy my MTG videos, that's so awesome! And I hope you're able to check out the Nintendo collection video some time as well 😊
I don’t know if you remember, but I commented on an elder scrolls vid you did a while ago, it was the map video and I said how much I wanted to play morrowind and you encouraged me to do so and literally like 20 minutes later I had the og Xbox version ordered off Amazon from a used seller, and it slowly but surely became my favorite TES game and one of my favorite games of all time. So ya, thanks, I kind of feel like I owe it to you.
It's a very special game, with a setting and story unlike any other. The graphics and gameplay are definitely dated by today's standards, but mods go a long way towards improving that. If you're willing to go in with patience and an open mind, I'm sure it'll eventually hook you. Also...CERTIFIED FIRST! 🥇
Just started Morrowind for the first time, this is the perfect video to wrap up my night 😴 Your voice is so soothing and it’s relaxing to hear your obvious love and knowledge of the game.
When I first herd the sounds of a Silt Strider way back when the Skyrim Legendary Edition came out for 360 I was hooked on them. The lore and everything. Such interesting creatures
Oh man I loved this game. Spent many hours exploring and doing quests and just roaming the map. My goodness it was amazing! The mods really do it alot of justice too. Really appreciate this walk down memory lane. 😉
Great to see this! My first experience with Elder Scrolls too, such and awesome world and story. Used the console codes to get me into all the guilds so I wouldn't miss any quest in the game. And the expansions were fun too. Everyone I know started with Oblivion or Skyrim and missed out on this because they thought the graphics were too dated.
Always love coming back to this videos wish you’d make more Morrowind content, but I know it’s far less popular than Skyrim lmao love your work friend!!
just finished a replay of this game last month and its still exactly as good as i remember. i enjoyed oblivion and skyrim too, but morrowind was just something special. wild that its been 20 years. i was a kid when i first played this, haha.
when i played this as a kid i would just keep making a new character and hanging out in seyda neen and balmora for a few hours before starting over again, because i really liked how the game started
Here's an interesting fact about Skar and Ald'ruhn. House Redoran mages used a ritual during the Oblivion Crisis to literally reanimate the husk of Skar, which rose out of the ground and began to mow down the armies of Mehrunes Dagon. The city was destroyed both due to Skar and the invasion, but it's still really metal.
Morrowind is the most unique out of the lastest TES games, Oblivion is more medieval and Skyrim is obviously viking inspired but Morrowind is just it's own thing, inspired by itself... It almost seems like an alien planet compared to the other games, in a good way
I had played Skyrim for years before I decided to play this game and honestly it’s been one of the better gaming decisions I have made by far, top tier game 😉
I used to play this game 24/7 when I was a teenager. I first had the Xbox version, then when we got a better computer I got the PC version. I still have the same boxed copy on my shelf today that I got 14 or so years ago. Since the dialogue was all text, I used to mute the game and play while listening to edgy teeny bopper music.
It's definitely more dated and feels clunky in some ways, but if you can get past that, the setting and world and writing are still some of the best of all time. It takes some patience, but it's so worth it.
I want to play this game I have tried many times but just cant get a hold of it, but there is also a part of me that cant get back into open world games any tips?😊
i wish i could play this game, i installed it the other day off steam to play like the good old days. but the game keeps crashing whenever i loading into a different area, and i have no idea how to fix it.
I just bough an Xbox Series s to play Morrowind. Will the graphics be this clear? and if now, how can I play with graphics that are as clear as the ones in the video above?
Okay I really like Morrowind but wtf is with this guy whispering all psuedosexually in my left ear then my right then my left then my PICK AN EAR and maybe buy me some mazte first.
Hi! Thanks for sharing your opinion. I personally don't find whispering forced or annoying, and enjoy watching whispered ASMR. However, I also enjoy soft-spoken ASMR, which is why I do both. I have hundreds of soft-spoken videos on my channel, so perhaps you'd prefer those.

I played this as a kid and i still think of the mage that fell from the sky

The fact that this game is 20 years old shows how far ahead of its time it was.
Truth!
it’s modded tho
Thank you, I've been waiting 2 years for you to do another Morrowind wander!! God bless you sir ☺️
Damn dawg…
Morrowind for me is my all time favorite game. I remember booting it up for the first time on the original Xbox on a Saturday night. Man those were the days. Happy anniversary Morrowind! Thank you for this Nick
The only things I dont miss are the broken enemy sounds (like on ascended sleepers) and less precise item placement.
I'd love to see more "wandering in Morrowind" type videos, these are great!
I can never get enough of your relaxing voice. You have one of the best male voices in ASMR. Thank you for another amazing video! 😊

I love your narration on these videos--pure poetry!

Perfect asmr for sleeping 😪 bringing memories of my older brother playing this while I start to fall asleep.
lovely relaxing walk, love how much you know about the law! Great looking mods too
Definitely need to revisit this game too! I'll have to revisit the entire series! These videos are great! 😊👍
Always wanted to play this game, pretty sure im gonna love it when i get there

This is amazing ❤️ the music gets me every time. A lovely piece of my childhood! Thanks for sharing this with us!
I would love it if game companies focused more on story and lore and detail in characters, rather than how many pixels are in a rock
This was amazing. The way you talked about Morrowind made it feel like a real place!
Just started Morrowind for the first time, this is the perfect video to wrap up my night 😴 Your voice is so soothing and it’s relaxing to hear your obvious love and knowledge of the game.
This is why I love Nick. He just breaks down the lore so eloquently... and you kinda get pulled into the world with him. Noone else does like him.
You couldn't have picked a more nostalgic game for me, clicked this so fast I broke my fingers.
hope you're feeling better
Have been playing this on my OG modded xbox for the past couple weeks and I would KILL for these updated graphics and patches. Awesome video 🎉
More morrowind please! I subbed because of this video, puts me in a really nice headspace before bed, thank you kind sir :)

Let’s gooo been waiting for this‼️ Also Nick FYI got my Into the AM order yesterday & I’m LOVIN IT. Thanks for putting me on (& for the discount ofc)
I can't wait for another wandering in Morrowind i adore the aesthetic of this game

I can't believe its only twenty years old. It came out when I was fourteen and it was so overwhelming for me lol
We need another one of these Nick 👉🏻🥺👈🏻 great video
I would love to see you do some Baldur's Gate 2 videos. I can really imagine you walking around Amn with the amazing soundscape of that amazing game.
Yessssssss you finally came back to Morrowind!!!!! THANK YOU NICK!!!
Always love coming back to this videos wish you’d make more Morrowind content, but I know it’s far less popular than Skyrim lmao love your work friend!!

This is why I love Sundays!
Installed it in 2003 and played for 5 years... Still no game with better music 🙂
i love morrowind and your work
This is the game that made me a gamer.
Dude love this!
Think I speak for several of us when I say I’d watch every episode of a recurring series of this :)
Excellent game. Excellent video
YES! ANOTHER WONDER VIDEO! MY FAV!
22 years old today 🫡🎉
Happy Bday to the greatest game ever created ..(until Skywind is finally released)
It would be really awesome to see you explore the different ESO zones
OMG! I love this!
Would love a remaster of this game
Check out Skywind, its nearing the end of production
@@beepbeep2045 good info, wasn't aware of that at all. Cheers.

A played the heck out of it as a teen too! Definitely one of my formative gaming experiences.
wonderful video ❤
nice work I remember enjoying watching you play minecraft a while back, any plans for survival horror asmr games?
What a treat to sleep too!
Ah morrowind. Taking a rest somewhere to only get imidiately stabbed by a dark brotherhood guy, the boots of blind speed, so many great things.
Those houses look like something to me.. but it aint no crab shell lol.
6:46 Yo Vanilla Plus, kick it one time booooiiiii.
I have played oblivion and skyrim for countless hours and loved them. Morrowind's been in my steam library for a while... Would i like it?
It's definitely more dated and feels clunky in some ways, but if you can get past that, the setting and world and writing are still some of the best of all time. It takes some patience, but it's so worth it.

Most recent updated graphics mods?
Looking forward to the Bad Rats 20th anniversary video
i wish i could play this game, i installed it the other day off steam to play like the good old days. but the game keeps crashing whenever i loading into a different area, and i have no idea how to fix it.
try fullrest version
Am I the only one that wishes we never evolved past the early 2000’s graphics?
I love early 2000 graphics, but in all fairness, the graphics are pretty heavily modded in this video. Still, I get what you mean!
Bethesda brings me joy
I just bough an Xbox Series s to play Morrowind. Will the graphics be this clear? and if now, how can I play with graphics that are as clear as the ones in the video above?
it's an enhanced pc version, and, I believe, it's just a better version in general...
Please do the game "Sable" you'll love it
Okay I really like Morrowind but wtf is with this guy whispering all psuedosexually in my left ear then my right then my left then my PICK AN EAR and maybe buy me some mazte first.
Whispering is so forced and annoying. Just speak softly next time.
