Hi guys! I hope you enjoy this Morrrowind wander, made in the style of my Wandering in Skyrim videos! Morrowind is one of my very favourite games of all time, and one of the most influential in my gaming history. I know many people never played it, or were too young to play it when it released, so I hope this serves as both a nostalgia trip for those who did play it, and a great introduction to those who didn't. I'd love to make more, if you like it. Please let me know below!
Too bad the graphics suck big time! Everything is very blocky and sharpy. They need to relaunch this game with better graphics and add 3rd person view so we can see ourselves with tab targetting! Then i would def play it! Im 32 and i always was more of World of warcraft player. Great asmr chills in this video still! thx
I feel that, I got it right around the same age, 14 I think. It was such a formative game for me. I'll never forget that feeling of freedom and possibility I experienced with it. And the general weirdness of its world, the depth of its lore...still unmatched today.
I'm so glad you like it! I'd like to make a series of Morrowind wanders as I've done for Skyrim. I hope I can introduce it to people who never played it, and to younger gamers who may not know about it!
Hopping on board with everyone else to say yes, More o' Wind please! It was a bit before my time and since I've never personally explored it I'd love to see more. Also I just recently found your Skyrim wanders and they're some of my favorite ASMR out there, thank you!
More o' wind it shall be! Glad I could introduce you to this classic game, and glad you're enjoying my Skyrim wanders too! Thanks for your kind words ☺️
I didn't know that I wanted a wandering episode in Morrowind, but now I want more. Please (if you can) make this a series on your channel? It's too good for a one-off.
A Soothing MoRrowind video, ohhh man I'm sold. I've recently started playing again (with the Ashfall survival mod) and it's just such a beautiful and strange world to get lost in.
This was absolutely lovely! Hearing the music made me want to cry a bit. Reminded of me of the purity of childhood in a rough time. Subscribed and excited to see more content from you!!
A game a quite literally grew up with. I remember watching my dad play it when I was younger. When I got old enough to play myself he modded my game for me and taught me the basics. And even though I couldnt read nor understand english at the time I remember being sucked into this magical world full of wonder. Loved the video btw nick! Hope we might someday get treated with more.
That's so cool that you and your dad bonded over Morrowind! I'm sure those are memories you cherish :). And yes, there's a very good chance I'll make more of these Morrowind videos in future :D
I remember at eleven years old splitting an Xbox, small flat screen TV, and morrowind with my brother for Christmas. I recently went back to play this with a few light mods myself. My name is Lex, I'm a level 30 Argonian. Gentlemen Jim Stacy has left town and quite literally given me the keys to the castle aka the skeleton key aha. Great Great game.
Love your videos! Always so relaxing. Thanks for putting out such consistently great content. Would love to see more of these, as well as more Skyrim ones!
Hands down my all time favorite game. I remember buying this game from gamestop based only on the box info. Little did I know what I was about to get myself into....
I bought from reading a PC Gamer review, and then I happening to see it on the shelf at a local computer shop! I was so blown away by the screenshots with the water shaders. Honestly, I think that's what sold me haha. Turns out, it was a good buy, but for many reasons other than just the water graphics!
I'm having the crappiest day and I missed your stream and I wanna cry, but all of a sudden I've seen this video in the "subscriptions" tab, and now everything's a little bit better. Thank you :)
Aww Freakti, I'm so sorry you've having a difficult day, and I'm sorry you couldn't make the stream...but I'm really glad this video has helped brighten things up a bit!! And hey, if you ever want to talk, you know where to find me :)
I had no idea I was waiting for this but now that it's here, everything feels right in the world. I've never seen much of anything of Morrowind so my Lore and my ASMR NEEDS this. Please keep up the good work as always!! Still sometimes freak out over you taking my suggestions back in Origins and I love your content! Edit: Side Note, I have a trash computer. If I tried this game, how much luck do I have?
☼CERTIFIED FIRST!☼ So glad this is what you needed, even though you didn't know it! I hope this is a great introduction to Morrowind for many like yourself. It's a very special game to me, one of my all-time favourites. Morrowind should run on pretty much anything these days, although it won't look like it does in the video; I have a lot of mods, and they make it significantly more performance-hungry. The vanilla game, however, without any visual enhancements, could probably run on a shoe.
Definitely a pioneering game, although I must point out that the graphics in this video have been heavily modded. Still a remarkable game with an indelible impact on the industry!
Looks like I’m late to the party! Stoked to have a couple already out to watch 😁 I was hoping you could share your mod list; I’d like to give Morrowind a play through finally!
That's really cool that you went back and played Morrowind, and that it's your favorite! Many people find it hard to go back to Morrowind after having played Skyrim. But there's certainly something special about it.
They both hold a very special place in my heart, but Morrowind was unlike anything I'd ever played at the time and it's probably the single most influential game in my gaming history.
Morrowind was great because of the "alien" culture and religion and lifestyle that the dunmer people followed. Skyrim was fantastic as well but felt more like a generic Scandinavian viking culture. Not as fleshed out and original as morrowind.
@@theASMRnerd Agreed. I have put countless hours into Morrowind and I still play it. Morrowind is a game that will be forever ageless and stunning. There is just so much atmosphere to Morrowind. Certainly one of my favorite ES games of all time.
Huge props for that modlist, I've been itching to install Morrowind again but I've never actually modded it, so perhaps I should give it an attempt this time
Yeah this would be really interesting with a slow walkthrough and background, lore ect. Ghostgate or even some of the vampire covens. That would be really cool sorry I'm a month late and just one person but I'd watch them.
Hey asmrnerd! I was wondering if you could send me your mod list? I've never played morrowind and I'd love to get into it. I love your videos man and I hope you are safe!
So great game! I loved that so much, but I'm a little bit sad because this game have obscured the king of rpgs, GOTHIC. Please make a video for the first Gothic, the n.1 rpg ever played by me (and i've played a loooot)
No RTX here, despite some impressive lighting effects. Maybe modders will somehow be able to add it in one day! And thank you, I'm so glad you enjoy what I do :D
I got Morrowind back in the day. I could never get into though, and I tried several times. I think partly it was down to having played Gothic just before I got Morrowind. I was very used to a very active and living world. By comparison this felt dead and stilted. Stepping into a tavern and everyone was just in there standing stock still for example. If I'd played Morrowind before gothic I wonder if I would have got further.
Hmm, perhaps! I played Gothic years after I played Morrowind, but I never got very far. To me, it felt like a more handcrafted but less open and realistic world, if that makes sense? Somehow, despite the cardboard NPCs, Morrowind felt more to me like a real place that existed regardless of the game, with a deep and believable history and lore. But maybe I never gave Gothic a fair chance!
@@theASMRnerd Yes, I think that's reasonable. They had different strengths and weaknesses. Gothic perhaps more immersive in terms of activity/interactivity and design of certain places ( I remember now the flatness of many places in Morrowind was stark in comparison to the level design in Gothic making full use of the y axis ), with Morrowind more so in terms of lore and openness.

Definitely do more. In addition of course to your Skyrim ones
theASMRnerd Definitely more!
Got so lost in this game so many times lol.
Not many of us will ever play this... so thank you! That was beautiful. More of theses would be amazing.
Too bad the graphics suck big time! Everything is very blocky and sharpy. They need to relaunch this game with better graphics and add 3rd person view so we can see ourselves with tab targetting! Thank you! I will very likely do more :)
theASMRnerd I hope no cliff racers show up in your future videos lol
@@theASMRnerd yaay ! :D
18 years old?! Damn that’s depressing. I got Morrowind when I was like 16

I played it when it was released too, I was 15 I think.
I am 18 lol
I would love more of this
The elder scrolls wandering is some of my favorite asmr content thanks for the content
Thanks for the feedback! Really glad you enjoyed it!
Ok morrowind home of the dark elves.. Hey wanna hear a dark elf joke? Nvm its dunmer than u think!
That’s bad 😬🤢
Lmaoo
This is great nick. I really enjoy your Skyrim wanders so this is exciting for me because I’ve never really played morrowind much. Thank you.
I'm so glad you like it! I'd like to make a series of Morrowind wanders as I've done for Skyrim. I hope I can introduce it to people who never played it, and to younger gamers who may not know about it!
This is gonna be a hard ‘wandering’ series with all the cliff racers
Me (whispering): and here you can see the-
Cliff racer: SKREEEEEE!!!!!

This is so meaningful and dear to my childhood. Thank you so much. 😭😭😭Great ASMR,
Thanks Daniel! Glad I could bring back some good memories :)
Yes! Do more of these! I love these kind of videos so much, plus, I'm just now giving Morrowind a try, so this was perfect timing!
4:00 Oh yes. Probably the oldest morrowind trick, of course this specific item it's missing from this specific shelf :)
Haha good eye!
This was absolutely lovely! Hearing the music made me want to cry a bit. Reminded of me of the purity of childhood in a rough time. Subscribed and excited to see more content from you!!
I feel the same whenever I hear the Morrowind music. Thank you so much for the sub, and I hope you enjoy my other content!
I would personally love to see this exploration continued! Morrowind has such a unique and intriguing world.

More please! Morrowind has such a unique and relaxing atmosphere and your commentary is great.
Skyrim: you are a demigod
Oblivion: you are a warrior
Morrowind: you are a punching bag
Morrowind Music is my favorite tes music ever...played this on my first pc round 2007... i was 6 then xd
I'm replaying Morrowind right now myself! Such a fantastic game.

I love this game, genuinley hooked on it
Love the wandering videos 💪🏽
Wow, perfect timing
I aim to please!
Please do more of these your mod choices make it much more enjoyable
Woah morrowind is my favorite game of all time:) I played it after oblivion and skyrim (I was born in 2000)

YES. YES YES YES. Right when I’m about to nap 🙏🎉🎉🎉
I hope it helps!
Oh yeah baby whisper n'wah in my ear
Best NPC by far was the talking merchant mudcrab - that dude was a legend - sold all my expensive pieces to him for full price :)
Mudcrab merchant is amazing, but Creeper the Scamp give him a run for his money!
more pleasee!!!!
Really cool video! Make me travel while I'm working
Glad it gave you a little escape from you work!
Might be a strange reversal, I use your wandering videos to stay awake. Makes absolutely no sense, but it works.
I miss this game I need to get it again. It's been so long
these mods make this game look so much better compared to vanilla!
The Elder Scrolls modding community is nothing short of amazing.
I love ASMR and I love video games I love the Elder Scrolls I always did
A man of good tastes!

Been watching you since your catplant colab.. great work man!
Hey thanks, glad you enjoyed it! That was a fun collab with catplant, I should see if she'd be up for another!

Yessss, more wandering!!!!!
It's bizarre to think it was the same stretch of time between Morrowind and Skyrim, and Skyrim and now.
Time works weirdly.
Yeah...it's a bit sad, really. I understand that Bethesda has diversified now, but we need a new TES game so bad...
my first rpg my god i love this game
Time to watch this one!
I hope you enjoy it :D

that gets me back, still a great game tho!
Totally! A lot of the systems feel dated, but the world is as amazing as ever.
Wow it actually looks as good as Oblivion
With all the mods, it gets close!
Gonna ask again, Nick @theasmrnerd, please do another one! Let's go to Balmora!
So great game! I loved that so much, but I'm a little bit sad because this game have obscured the king of rpgs, GOTHIC. Please make a video for the first Gothic, the n.1 rpg ever played by me (and i've played a loooot)
