Completely agree, remember waiting for what seemed like years for the "self-titled" album to finally come out (and it was definitely worth the wait!) & loved the next few albums as well. But after hearing Storm the Gates of Hell I had lost interest @ the fact that they seemed to have lost their edge on that one (although my recent discovery of their BA output since then has been greatly reassuring : )

its difficult to find a band that has a passion for christ and metal at the same time. plus its mind numbing and meaningful lyrics relate to christ and life if u look hard between the lines. .
I have loved demon hunter since the day this album was released and think exile is just as good as any. This song still my all time fav. Still gets my heart pumped hearing it

They aren't religious. I view them as a hardcore/metal band that is sharing their life story through music. That includes all aspects of their life like when they mess up, how they view this world, and what God is for all of us.
I believe so. I think the tree represents the soul and how he's carving help in its trunk, while the man at the desk represents the body and how he's also begging for help. It's demonstrating the pain and suffering we go through as we're begging for help and how we have to go through it in order to be saved... or something like that. That's how I see it, from a Christian standpoint anyway.
