8 years later and this song is still one of the best songs I've ever listened to. I've recently lost two members of my family, and it still hurts to this day. This song is cathartic and brings me to peace knowing that they're in a better place. Thank you Demon Hunter for creating the best music I've ever listened to. May you keep creating more and more amazing music. God bless. <3
Its 2022 and this song still wants to make me fall to my knees to praise god. Thank you lord for giving us demon hunter. They have helped many through you
Im only 15 and ive been through more than anyone should ever have to go through. I was raised in church but i still doubted (i still do sometimes) my dad passed when i was 8. Afterwards my mom turned to alcohol for fulfillment. 7 years later im going through the same thing. Partying with my friends everynight at 2 am. Smokin dope, starting pain pills. Finally God convicted me through one of my friends to sober up. Its not easy but 3 months has goes real slow when you just sobered up. I thank God for what hes done for me and you should too
So we made this video with just a couple people and my friends in Demonhunter out on Whidbey Island. Where they made the movie The Ring. It was a cool, incredible, cinematic experience. There is something about making art with just your friends -- the result is beautiful like Carry Me Down. I love this video.
Still boggles my mind, my favorite band, still to this day. Filmed Carry Me Down on the island I grew up on and on the beach I used to have football practice on. Wow.
Demon Hunter is my favourite band. Every time I hear this song, I cry 😢 When Ryan says let the fear inside you drown. I think of how we have to let go of fear because Satan wants us to be filled with fear. With Jesus, he can tear out the blade that pierced you. My mom recently died a year ago and she is in Heaven now. Just an emotional song. Love it so much. God Bless everyone in Jesus name.
One of the guys in my platoon choose this song for there funeral if he passed overseas. Goes into what's called the blue book. Who does what, who gets what, what you want done, who you want there out of your unit, ect. Listened to the song and it was in my blue book. This was in 09.
I saw this video and heard this song for the first time the day before one of my best childhood friends took his own life.. I'm in no way religious but this song is pinned to that event in my life forever, I feel like it means something. It started to rain when we arrived at the cemetery, and poured as we carried his casket, and for the first 5 years after, it rained on that day. Rest Easy S.E.C 84-08
I'm an atheist but this song really touches my soul in a way that makes me question...
Is it wrong that I’ve already decided I want this song played at my funeral?
