I remember my sister went to one of they’re concerts and met them. She told them I was a huge fan of the band and they were so happy to hear that. A month later I got a package in the mail... there was their signature demon on the the opening. I opened it and it was a hand written letter from them and a rare t shirt I don’t think was released yet. That was about 13 years ago, and I still have a need to see them live and meet them.
Go see them dude. They are still my fav band. Since I was 13. And was shown metal.
They introduced me to other christian bands
Ryan Clark hangs out on Facebook quite often & I've talked to him a fair amount on there. Really good guys. I don't know them personally just the fb encounters they are great live

I listened to demon hunter as a kid. As a kid they were great. I haven't listened to them in a long long time, but today I was like I'll listen to this song again. As an adult now I listened to the lyrics, and my God this is good art. I never understood how quality the songwriting of demon hunter is until today. This is amazing
Same here, I found Demon Hunter way back when I started experiencing depression so I turned to this band to get me through the days, looking back, I never truly appreciated the lyrics as I do now

I didn't like this album at first but it's one of my favorite heavy metal albums of all time!
I saw them live this year in Houston. I've followed them since day 1, it was the best concert I've been to, by far!

Ryan's voice is amazing. Not only can he belt and scream gutterally but he's very melodious. Amazing. I hope to be able to see them live in concert someday.

Yep….it’s 2021 and this song still makes the hairs on my arm and neck stand up when that chorus hits…one of my all time favorite albums from an all time favorite band🤘✝️
I discovered this song recently and I'm obsessed. I love sad, gothic hard rock songs, and this one ticks all the boxes - but Ryan's voice elevates it to another level. It's like he's singing directly to our souls. And the lyrics! So much honesty, self-reflection and humility ♥️♥️♥️.
The members to Demon Hunter may never read this, but I’m more than grateful to have found your music. You helped me restore my faith, and I believe that is more than what anyone has done for me in a good time. This was the first song I ever heard of Demon Hunter when they first came out and have been completely hooked since. Their songs just keep on getting better and better. So the 36 dislikes on this song, can go kiss my ass. This band is amazing.
Olivia Colby I was introduced to Demon Hunter in High School by my friend Andrew. Plus at Christian Stores and in Gospel Music section at Walmart had X Album and Wow Hits CDs which had some of their songs.

Demon hunter is probably my favorite band, so much so that I started writing something as a tribute. At some point I even wrote to them and they actually replied. They care about their fans a lot and that says a lot about their hearts.

Demon Hunter is a distinctly Christian band, if you read the lyrics from their songs its impossible to miss unless your just really stubborn. This is a song of repentance for sin. One part that shows this is when it says, "Accepting pain I've never known as you die" referring to Jesus dying on the cross, and the pain it brings to believers, because we believe he was bearing our sin, so it hurts to know what we did to him. It is a great song either way though, rock on man.

He says and I quote: "For us, it's a faith, not a genre", says Jon Foreman. "We've always been very open and honest about where the songs are coming from. For us, these songs are for everyone. Calling us 'Christian rock' tends to be a box that closes some people out and excludes them. And that's not what we're trying to do." Same with metal.

Because people fear it. for some reason no matter how much someone claims not to beleive that God is real and that jesus died for their sins , they still fear that they may be wrong. thats how I was for years. now i no longer live in fear but under the grace of God!
