Later in the song, it explains that we cry and cry unto God and God says that if you want salvation, repent against your sins before the devil will use them against you, salvation is entirely possible. All it takes is faith to God and forgive those who hurt you.

Same! I just started listening to the band because of their new upcoming album Outlive, and it made me realize for a long time now, it doesn't matter what the music is about. Music is art and that's what's important. It differs from imaginary to reality. Slayer, for example, as they're known to be a so-called satanic band, I've read that the lead singer and bassist does believe in Christianity. He just sings and/or writes about evilness and similar stuff because that's just music. People need to appreciate music instead of bashing about a band or a song's subject.

Christian Metal bands are the most badass bands out there... that's because they're bands that face rebuke on all fronts, both christian and secular, yet they continue to do their thing out of faith! Much RESPECTS to these tough guys!

It's so stupid how there are people coming to this video just so they can complain about how this is a Christian metal band yet I'm sure they have no problem with bands like Slayer or Cradle Of Filth singing about violence.

Same! I just started listening to the band because of their new upcoming album Outlive, and it made me realize for a long time now, it doesn't matter what the music is about. Music is art and that's what's important. It differs from imaginary to reality. Slayer, for example, as they're known to be a so-called satanic band, I've read that the lead singer and bassist does believe in Christianity. He just sings and/or writes about evilness and similar stuff because that's just music. People need to appreciate music instead of bashing about a band or a song's subject.

ok im a christian and i cant stand it when people bash christian music just because they say its to heavy or somethin and then try to use the excuse that it glorifies man more than God. does the bible specifically describe what g enre christian music is supposed to be. no it just says to praise him with psalms and choruses. just because it isnt your run of the mill christian band doesnt mean its wrong. these songs are powerful and brought me back from a dark road.

@@jackson2308 well at the beginning, the guitar and drums creates a vibe I get in a lot of anime openings I've heard. And the song starts off slow then builds up, and eventually into screaming vocals and that gives me the feeling of like a anime protagonist rising up from the shadows idk.

k...I've been DH fan since 2003, and this whole, " I'm an atheist and I love DH, I didn't know they were Christian." Makes me really believe that it doesn't fucking matter what your belief is and also that no one cares... They made their lyrics to honestly ride the fence. They keep their distortion on high and kill it with each song. As much as they are openly christian, they're doing something right.
That is, they don't shove dogma down anyone's throat in their songs through gospel or dogma. It's achievable nowadays for a religious band to be well known if they don't spread their gospels. So honestly. No one cares if you've been a christian, or not, or that you're an atheist, that doesn't want to be victimized by their preferences in music because they want their two cents. Well my two cents is:
1. New band? fucking google it
2. Didn't know they were Christian? fucking google it
3. Atheist but love DH? fucking google their lyrics
Most of you don't even know what religious or faith you fall in if you already lost your faiths...
So you're an Atheist? A Jew? A Christian? A Muslim? A Hindu? A Sikh? Doesn't matter.
Just enjoy the music. If your new to them - You better get ready to love them.

@10478188 i went to the same tour a few days ago. maybe i had low expectations, or maybe they just loved minnesota, but the whole concert was epic, and i didnt see anything held back. Demon Hunter sounded better than i thought they would, and moshing to Storm The Gates Of Hell had EVERYBODY going lol
