"Everybody's In LA" was super fun. John Mulaney carries a clipboard and barks "What kind of car do you drive?" to people who call in. Also a snacks robot and Richard Kind.
You hit the highlights, but it was certainly a little unhinged. I loved it though. Thought Richard Kind was the perfect choice for the supporting side kick, and the "what kind of car do you drive" bit always shoehorned in at the last second always had me cracking up. Peak John.
I loved the chaos of that show. It truly felt like old tv, where you HAD to be there to watch it live. Sure you could watch the episodes after, but the idea they were doing it NOW felt more special.
So glad John looks like an adult now and doesn't feel the need to wear suits all the time to convince people he's a grown up. :) Being a Dad really suits him; no need for suits now.
John having been known as an Asian girl when he was young by his classmate has come full circle by marrying into a Vietnamese family. Glad he's doing much better now
Had you said Jerry O'Connel I'd have agreed. But Bateman? Only thing that looks remotely similar is the haircut. I guess if you think all brown haired white guys with a side part and slight shag look alike...
He probably meant he's never been in a movie on camera--because he's definitely done a couple of significant voice-acting roles. He was Spider-Ham in "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse," Jack Horner in "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish," and Chip in the "Chip n' Dale: Rescue Rangers" movie. not to mention he's been in a LOT of TV shows.
There's only one possible reason Seth didn't ask John about doing a Bird Bane musical number: It's totally going to happen. I wait with fully abated breath.
Now that he's sober and fuller faced, Mulaney finally looks like a grown-up and not an oversized teen, slightly disconcerting but good for him for being healthy
Actually, John was in a few movies: Spiderman, into the spiderverse as Spider-Ham, Chip and Dale, and Puss in Boots. They were just voice roles, so technically he wasn't in a move as a person.
You two should shoot a black and white 1940s comedy where a monster chases you and there some musical numbers but not too many because the focus is on the comedy. We'll call it "Meyers and Mulaney meet Dracula".
I like how he's kinda on the show for no reason.
His flight to LA was cancelled. 🤣
Oh I’m sure he’s deflecting attention from his ex wife’s book, which comes out tomorrow
He directed Langston Kerman's speical which comes out next Tuesday.
@@weirdloverwilde Um, she said in NYT interview that there's nothing about him in it because being married to him did not define her
@@weirdloverwilde you think he schedules the episodes of late night? as elaborate ploys?
I love that they just randomly did a very normal conversation with no punchlines in this interview.
I'm always happy to listen to these two chat together. :)
What? That entire scene read was a bit 😅
I almost thought he was Jason Bateman imitating JM.
Idk how Seth didn’t say anything when John said he “got a great DP”.
I just got a popup requesting me to evaluate the viewer's posted comment, not the clip from the show. That's just weird. Congrats, mighty jackal!
The conversation about dinner in the middle of the show lol
That was awesome. "What about Jost? He's in LA. Oh! Jost is in L.A.? Wait, no he lives in New York." 😆
I replayed just that part, laughing so hard
This just kinda felt like 2 friends having a chat. We're all glad John is doing so much better!
John looks healthier and happier than I've seen him in years.
Yeah he's off the drugs 👍
@@michaelhake2291It is more than that. He is settled in a healthy family.
@@michaelhake2291 Exactly. That's the point I was trying to make.
New jaw line also. He got the Henry Cavill model.
yes.. I'm glad he's happy... but I had a hard time recognizing him... he looks so different.. like.. his face is different
I like how now that John has a two year old, he’s real psyched about hanging out with his friends when he comes to New York

Richard Kind? Sold!
Barking is the best way to describe it. The funniest was when someone only heard the "Do you drive?" Part and said "I do"
@@happycadaverLos Angeles is certainly a little unhinged as well
I love that a part of this just devolves into them having a genuine conversation
John looks so good. I’m rooting for him.
can you root for me too?
So glad John looks like an adult now and doesn't feel the need to wear suits all the time to convince people he's a grown up. :) Being a Dad really suits him; no need for suits now.
So glad to see that the tall child finally got some rest
this is just two pals who happened to have a conversation with an audience. i love this and i love when they have fun and laugh together! 4:38
It’s fun to watch a couple of good friends catch up and make dinner plans! 😂
saw Mulaney live at the Hollywood Bowl this year. He filled that place up and he took care of business. He was fantastic.
We need an entire TV show of John Mulaney explaining the plots of movies he's seen, or maybe hasn't seen. Ala The Mule with Petey D on SNL.
Who was rude to me at a Laker game
I go back to that sketch about once a month. It’s just so good.
@@christophersantiago6845that was Andy Garcia
@@katlewis3329 I would pay to watch this!
I would pay tripple just to have the dinner table next to those two and listen to their conversation. Not for gossip reasons, just for the hilarity.
He NEEDS to host the Oscars... I don't care if he already said no
I absolutely LOVE him. He is hilarious. I've seen him live 3 times most recently at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY.
1:06 I imagine John saying "No" in the way Mick Jagger did
I believe what Mick Jagger famously told John Moolahnee [über-britishly] was: NUT FUNNAY!
YYYYYEEEEEEAAAAAHHHH, me, too.
They both make me smile! I'm so happy for John, and seeing them both banter is fun to watch!
We need a new show titled "Mrs. Kim in Conversation with John Mulaney"
As contentious as his relationship was with OM, it's clear the new directions/family suit him. 🙏🕊️
I feel like there's a John Mullaney Mrs Kim show somewhere somehow.
its called Kim Mullanii actually...
Love both of this guys!
😂 you've made my day. I love seeing your friendship. Thank you for every laugh 😂❤
Mulaney and Simon Rich in the same week!?? You win Sethly!!
So happy you're back Seth!!
John said he's never been in a movie, but he was in Spider-Verse
And Puss In Boots, but I guess he means he has never "appeared" in a movie since animated stuff is just voice work.
@@cloudwatcher608 oh and Chip and Dale
He was in episodes of The Bear but I guess that doesn't count as a movie.
He looks great!
John having been known as an Asian girl when he was young by his classmate has come full circle by marrying into a Vietnamese family.

Love John Mulaney !!! congratulations to the newly wedded !!
I adore the two of you enjoying your time and we get to enjoy the laughs! ❤
I love John Mulaney ❤❤❤
John is spot on about the Green Mill. Iconic venue.
He looks like a leading man now.
I love the Green Mill! Such a good slam poetry venue!
John Mulaney slowly transforming into Jason Bateman
Lol! Well, they could definitely play brothers. :)

So happy you’re doing well, God Blessed you!
he is so funny
"Ive never been in a movie"
-The Voice of SpiderPig
Oh that script routine, with Young Lorne, is brilliant. Right down to the bad writing and horrible reading. Brilliant.
Langston's special was fantastic!
John é o melhor, eu amo ele! 💞
Langston Kermit IS hilarious!
Of all the John Mulaneys in the world, he's the John Mulaniest.
A reality show about him and his in-laws sounds epic, frankly.
😂😂😂😂 I love this man so much ❤
This is the first Talk Show interview clip I have seen, where they just talk and have a human conversation
Wonderfully normal conversation. 😊
Nice Lorne! Mullaney must have spent that time at Impression Camp.
I'm happy that John Mulaney looks happy
Man… dying to have been at that dinner!
When you show up at a talk show and do dinner schemeing
"I've never been in a movie" did I imagine Spider Pig then?

I could listen to John Mulaney and Seth Meyers discuss their dinner plans all day.
huge Norm Macdonald vibes from Mulaney here...love it
The worlds be better place with John Mulaney in it!
correction: he has in fact been in movies
Mrs. Kim looks VERY "done with this whole thing" when they cut to her at the end, lol
Her daughter is also a comedian, so I'm sure she's been there, done that already. Lol. She was super sweet in the first part of his interview. :)
love the green mill
John really hogged the spotlight on Ms Kim's segment.
Damn. Seth just got corrected in real time. Mulaney
Correction? Does being a voice in an animated film count as being in a film?
There's only one possible reason Seth didn't ask John about doing a Bird Bane musical number: It's totally going to happen. I wait with fully abated breath.
Amusing❤

He looks like a 90s romcom lead. It's the hair
I actually just watched it! I was disappointed this scene wasn't in it
How is John getting cuter as he gets older? 😊
Dick Clark syndrome
Actually, John was in a few movies: Spiderman, into the spiderverse as Spider-Ham, Chip and Dale, and Puss in Boots. They were just voice roles, so technically he wasn't in a move as a person.
His new jaw reminds me of Zac Efron
Right?! I noticed that too! Did he get work done to his face?
John Mulvaney!!!!!

John Munnlaney
John is handsome
Did you text Jost?😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
anyone got the id on the shirt mulaney's wearing?
It's by Hermes
Correction - John Mulaney has been in three movies - Rescue Rangers and two Spiderverse Films.
Saw the SNL movie trailer. Looks like it’s based off the book,Live From New York.
Seth Meyers looks more and more like Gavin Newsom as each day passes
john looks like a grown man finally! lol

@@claudiamiller7730 Had some work done for sure
Still unsure if it's "Bat Poetry" or "Bad Poetry".
CORRECTION : John Mulahney (SIC) made the same "you and I" grammatical mistake that Seth did ... TWICE. It's contagious.
Seth does it a fair bit
It is called "hypercorrection" where you think I is more proper and the correct pronoun.
he looks so different...
Saturday Night getting bodied beyond all belief here
Only John Mulaney can fall upwards into marriage with Olivia.🤣🥰
why does John look like Jason Bateman's brother
John Mulaney is more goodlooking than Matt Rife! Funnier too!
Just saying ✌️🙂🍺
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hope he’s doing good
I don’t want to speculate but he does not look good to me :/
He looks like he’s disassociating the second half of the interview. I hope he’s doing well.
I never heard him or anybody pronounce his name. I feel I've been lied to.
Dude literally embodied the two-face line, we got to see him turn into a villain in realtime
