      Right including seven singles off hysteria. Pyromania and hysteria are truly amazing record to wall to wall. I think the only song I Don't like is don't shoot shotgun, and Joe Elliott says he doesn't like that song either.

    My cousins used to have vhs cassette called Historia with Def Leppard containing videos from late '70s to late '80s. Don't know how many times me and my buddy borrow this cassette!! This song was like a encore and it sure takes me back!!

      I rented that from Blockbuster when I was a kid! Currently the version of hello America was never actually a video. Is the performance for a TV show that got scrapped or something. I literally just learned that yesterday even though I saw the video first in the late '80s!

      I don't even feel guilty about it anymore. During the grunge era I was a little modest about my fandom. I regret that though ... But was when I was in high school Def Leppard was like the least cool thing in the world. But this was like the turn of the century.

      @@HarriBestReactions I thank you so much for reacting to Love Bites, my favorite Def Leppard ballad. Now if you want to hear the song that exploded them into super stardom, check out Def Leppard - "Photograph". Truly one of the best and most amazing hard rock/heavy metal songs of all time. A true classic, believe me, you will NOT be disappointed.

      @@HarriBestReactions Haha never mind, I just subscribed to your channel and saw that you had a reaction for Photograph among others. I feel so bad for you that their 2021 tour (which was supposed to happen in 2020), doesnt have any UK dates. And yes, Def Leppard are definitely British. They are from Sheffield. If you notice in the Photograph video, the lead singer had the Union Jack on his shirt. He made that shirt so iconic in the early 80's. I remember everyone in America that were Leppard fans bought one. Rick Allen the Drummer also likes to drum in nothing but boxers with the Union Jack as well.

    The fact that you're a Brit but don't know who Def Leppard are speaks volumes for how f**ked up the British music industry is.
    They should be considered a British national treasure. Every bit as good ans successful as The Who and Queen.

    • @HarriBestReactions
      @HarriBestReactions  3 года назад +1

      I dont think its as simple as that.Remember i am a black guy.Your background,friends,culture and taste plays a big part in what you like.
      Cos you only listen to certain music go to certain clubs and listen to certain radio stations.
      Not saying i didnt or dint listen to other stuff as well,but you tend to drift more towards things that are synonymous with the things i mentioned.
      But i think as you get older and explore you start opening yourself up more.
      For exampe, you will be shocked at amount of stuff my parents used to listen to that i ignored but love now😀

    • @one-eye1721
      @one-eye1721 3 года назад +1

      @@HarriBestReactions I agree. I was stunned at how many black people put out reaction videos to Queen in the last year or two who had never heard them before the movie came out.
      To me they are one of the most ubiquitous bands of all time. I listened to Queen records on my crappy little turntable when I was just a kid. But there is a big cultural gap in popular music.
      I see the same thing with The Bee Gees. They had one of the biggest selling albums of all time, but so many black people had never heard of them, or thought they were black.
      I don't 'blame' black people for this, but it just does show me that there are cultural factors at work that are sometimes hard to understand. But we have to if we're to co-exist peacefully.

    • @michaelcorcoran8768
      @michaelcorcoran8768 2 года назад

      @@HarriBestReactions right Def Leppard has never had the most diverse audience.... That's a very good point. This is probably changing as the internet makes it easier for other people to discover them.

    • @michaelcorcoran8768
      @michaelcorcoran8768 2 года назад

      @@one-eye1721 yeah. It's interesting how white people jumped all over rap music at least by the '90s, but rock music didn't really have the cross appeal. I do remember the band living colour. Maybe the only all black rock band I can remember on MTV. The cult of personality is an absolutely amazing song and actually still relevant

    • @michaelcorcoran8768
      @michaelcorcoran8768 2 года назад

      @@one-eye1721 there's no need to blame anyone for this. I didn't get exposed to a lot of music when I was younger. It's just the culture where you're born has heavy influence on the kind of music you consume, the food you eat etc...

      @HarriBestReactions  3 года назад +1

      Im curious about this statement Christian.How did they sell their souls? I dont know much about them but every British band has gone the same route.This includes the Police,Beatles ,Dire Straits,Durans ,The Stones..i can go on..I am curious to onow how the Defs are different.

    • @Katehowe3010
      @Katehowe3010 3 года назад

      @@HarriBestReactions Their first album had a very British sound, typical of the NWOBHM movement springing up at that time! One of the songs featured on their debut album was titled 'Hello America', and was a blatant love letter to a country they'd only experienced through films,and the odd American band! They were criticised for this by sections of the English music press, and lost a portion of their fans in the process! Their response was to release a follow-up, completely indebted to a U.S audience, which fortunately for them had the required effect. You may see nothing wrong in this, but all the bands you mention became big on their own terms, and by retaining their original sound. I guess i prefer integrity over dollar signs! Cheers.

      @@Katehowe3010 Like i said,ive only just discovered these boys ..But i dont see how they are any different from all these other great British groups who sang with American accents and mentioned all these American cities and landmarks etc..And The Beatles,The Stones all did this as well.
