Thank you for the video. This is helpful. I removed my front bumper on my 2000 Honda Civic DX today. On my Honda, I had 10 mm bolts (not Philips screws) in the wheel well on both sides of the bumper. Just an FYI...in case anyone needs to replace their horn, you need to remove the front bumper. The horn is attached to the car with a 12 mm bolt.
This video was very helpful. My license plate was stuck onto the front bumper and it wouldn't budge with any sockets or a wrench. I removed the bumper and was able to take off the nut and install the new license plate. Thanks!
Any auto supply store has them on hand. They’re often called J or U clips. There are 2-3 different sizes, so bring in one of your old ones even if it’s broken so you get the right size. You’ll need the matching bolts, same size, and they have those too.
I messed up and accidentally crashed my friend's car into a tree. The front bumper bent, to the point where it'll have to be replaced, as will the actually bumper itself. On a scale of 1-10, how screwed am I...financially speaking? Nothing leaks, and it drives fine, but I am going to have to pay for the repairs and I make a disgustingly low amount of money. It has to be replaced though, before he can drive it. Also the hood needs replaced. And the passenger side from panel.
I know its been a year lol but, hood for a 96-00 civic is about 200, bumper is about 50 fenders are about 50 as well youre not that screwed but hey lemme know what happened lol its been a year
Probably the best and most monotone honda tutorial ever
Thanks very much. Good filming, no wasted time, direct and to the point and gave the information I needed.

Anyone know where I can get the clips that go on the fender I just got a new bumper but can’t find them just the two in the middle
Use zip ties :)

why is my car missing all the rivets and lower bolts...lol
Excellent tip on using a small amount of WD-40 to loosen/lubricate the clips before removal. I break those way too often.
Thank you
I’m planning to hide a pod filter in the front bumper so I don’t get defected
The only silly thing is WD on the clips 😂. Like that does literally nothing but get you and you’re car greasy haha
Can a 96 civic hatch bumper fit on a 2000 civic coupe ?
