Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen! This is the engine I used to test the previous restoration, I got a lot of requests to restore the engine next. I really enjoy engine restorations, so I did not hesitate to do this one next!
Thank you for your time!
Engine model nr reads.
132232-2036-01-84060907
Serial no.
K-023457
just got a motor plough with this engine for free from a buddy, its been sitting outside for 20 years but honestly doesnt look too bad, im hyped to get it running
This is how you do it, Very nicely done . I got the exact same 132232 I/c 5hp engine on my Tailburger T66
The color of the carb and the screws are unbelievable! Amazing work, great! Thanks for sharing it.
Thank you so much for the comment, I am glad you liked the way it came out.
I have one to restore for a wood chipper so this will be very useful. Thank you!
This is one of, if not the best restoration I've seen. Very impressive work! I subbed you.

It is the same model I used to race .
looks like an 132232 I/C because it has ball bearings and casted sleeve in cylinder so yes it can take much more rpm
I assume that engine was originally on a snow plough as the carburettor had a un-filtered air-intake on it, and he replaced it with an air filter
Could be, but where I live it does not snow, I have seen these engines on lawnmowers and it has a pipe that goes up to the handlebars that connects to a air-filter. I guess its to try and make it more economic to try and save on constantly having to replace air-filters. I did replace it with a more suitable and original air-filter housing.
40:07 Come on I do that with power drill and never with hands... 45:40 Next time write or mark with dots on piston head side and have clean piston head top. 50:34 Here I saw cover still a bit loose when he tighten the screw. I think there should be washer..... 😏✌
I have a motor just like this that I’m restoring, it was solid white, I’m reversing your colors, red engine and silver coverings.
Where did you get get the new ignition coil? What’s the part number?
Where is a good place to look for parts for these old motors? I have one as we speak trying to rework. Also shop manuals where to find?

If i had to guess I'd say a young teen took this on as a project for like go kart and had no real clue what they were doing
Saan poba ang syap mo dol
And now it's running on one cylinder.
Just like it should hahaha perfection.
Hey man, I know you have better things to do than answer questions on a older youtube video, but what tourqe specs did you use on this engine? I cant find them anywhere
No stress, 15.8 N-m for the head bolts 5hp engine. www.moteachag.org/documents/AgMechSurvivalBriggsRepairCheckChartNew.pdf
@@AJRestoration Thank you!
Hey bro do you have parts for a 5hp rototiller motor it's a briggs&Stratton
No but I am sure Ebayor Amazon will have
the thumbnail is two different engines.
Kinda, because the one on the right is the one on the left, but it has been restored. ;-)
I have many questions that I know you won’t answer
I’ve got answers that I know you don’t want.
Excellent job. I have a 10HP Briggs and Stratton, in the back of my van . Works faithfully every day. It is a big age
