honestly they are the superior choice for most every engine IMO, they are the easier to read the heat range on because of the cadmium coating on the ground ring
I would love to see this in a build series.... Not saying anything bad about the daily vlogs either, loving em! Keep up the great work can wait to see the Beamer spoolin up a turbo!!!
honestly you can just take it off and if you don't care about putting ac back in the car you can just leave the hoses open, the ac compressor won't turn on with the system empty anyway
I think you messed up dude. NGK spark plugs lasted 150,000 miles in my 2006 Bmw x3 and they have the same motor. Also, i think it's your mass air flow sensor. (same problem with mine) Either the mass airflow sensor or an air leak.
also side not if you actually need to do work on bmws don't watch this guy. he makes good funny content but don't know much of anything about bmws...and that's not the rad it's to do with air con
Another thing that might be wrong is that being as the battery was disconnected it resets the computer, you just need to drive it so the computer can learn and self tune, that's a common problem that most don't realize and it can run like absolute crap at first, it takes around 150-200 miles for it to run really good
I run autolite plugs in my BMW with no issues at all. Cheap $2.00 plugs never did me wrong. Check your sensors, if any are bad, replace them. Check your timing belt. Yes its possible to jump a notch or stretch the belt. Timing chains are better LOL.
NGK are mostly for the performance and Bosch are used more if it's gonna be a daily driver. My Mitsubishi 3000 GT requires them, so does my Mazda MX-6 M. and Bosch are the OEM sparkplugs
This is the AC condenser that mist you saw was the refrigerant leaking out the fluid that was dripping from it was the ac compressor oil. If you want the ac to function properly replace this radiator this glue wont hold the pressure.
Hey dalton I wouldn't worry about repairing that part it's just the air conditioning condenser and that's why it would of been steaming out because the AC system carries gas
I could be wrong, but I don't think that's the rad, it looks like the condenser to me (Rad is behind it), when it misted it poured all the gas out, which also means that car probably had working AC.
That's an a/c condenser, it was misting because it was gas refrigerant getting vented. Ditch it and install a front mount inter cooler if you're actually gonna turbo charge it.
I would get Denso TT part number 4504 for it because they are awesome plugs and your local auto part store will have them, The part number for the Bosch plugs is #4301 for twin tip or 4418 for platinum +4 plugs but to be honest I have not had very good luck with them compared to the Denso's. Have fun
no no you have more to it data values on the scanner you have to see the fuel trims +trim adding fuel - fuel trim subtracting fuel. But that can get skudd up from vacuum leak or a bad air metering valve (maf). Best thing to find vacuum leak even that plastic intake seal's is to use water. Pour water on places that can leak and see where it sucks in water and rpm drop. Now if the fuel trims pass -10 or +10 it sets check engine light.
Yep, that's the A/C condenser you just took out. You can see the radiator in the video BEHIND the condenser. I had written and told you to have your ignition module check after seeing this video. THEN I saw your last video showing the car running. After seeing that my advice is to have a friend get the car started and get it to a constant RPM that keeps the car running. Meanwhile you get under the hood and check for vacuum leaks. I had this same problem with a car I paid $300 for because it wouldn't stay running. I plugged a vacuum leak and drove it away.
Dalton, That is definitely an air conditioning condenser. You don't need that for a drift car. Scrap it and take out the rest of the hoses and compressor.
save your self the hassle and don't put that "radiator back in" it is your account condenser and you don't need it and the stuff coming out was Freon gas it what's makes the ac cold
Dalton...that's your A/C condenser not your radiator....Condensers are installed in front of radiators. Those plugs have a fuel smell because you flooded the cylinders trying to start it.I appalude your wanting to get this car running but you might want to cut your losses and fine a another project car to get your feet wet with.Thank you for all the work you put into making content.
Hey man love the vids. I have a few bmws. 95 m3 98 323ic and I've had ngk in there before and they worked. not well but they worked. as for the radiator it's an a.c. condesnser. Not the radiator. keep up the vids! any questions let me know. I can help you out man.
Technician speaking here that owns a 97 328is: NGK plugs work fine, promise I run the Iridiums just because and Autozone stocked them. 99% chance it's a vacuum leak, I've had an idea to build a custom smoke tester using a vape pen with some air line fittings and a pressure regulator. Use some PVC caps with an air line fitting installed to smoke test the entire system under 5 psi or so of pressure. All leaks must be stopped.
Nothing wrong with either autolite or NGK I prefer NGK from Japan. Ive run autolites in the past. They are fine but will rust. Platinums last 100k miles but if your a modder they wont be in it long b4 you go colder or hotter plugs etc. And by the way thats the AC Condenser not the radiator. AC system needs to be charged at a high PSI (30-300+psi) The JB weld will most likey not hold that kind of pressure. Its all good in the hood tho. I love the videos man. Your killing it.
Its also covered in gas cus last vid u didnt have the maf hooked up he had the straight throttle body instead of the intake tube and maf and filter.... So it was running rich. And stalling out....
Every time he says radiator im screaming at my pc trying to tell him its an AC condenser and he doesn't even need it. Especially if its just a drift missile.
08 to 2016 200-300 KTM, 2011-2014 200-300 Husaberg and 2014-2016 Husqvarna 200-300 2 stroke starters are all the same starter. I have a KTM wrapped in Husaberg plastic lol 2014 TE-250. There problem with 2014 back are the bendix, they are junk. The gear wears out and causes problems. Pretty much have to faithfully maintain them. 2015 they fixed this by using better quality parts. Here is a link for ya, read and enjoy. Could save you some money. ktmfreeride250.wordpress.com/starter-modifications/
one more thing you can braze aluminum with the right rod and a torch rather than using liquid steel which most likely wont work.. the metal has to be very very clean though.
its a air conditioner radiator leave it off save some weigh remove every to do with it. im not sure wat belt system bmws run so check if you can get a belt before you remove compresser from the motor.
U should replace all the sparkplugs then get the computer thingy and hook it ul to the bmw that way you know which cylinders arent firing then u know which coils to replace i had to do that on my moms car
NGK are superior quality spark-plugs in Europe
i was just about to say that :D
honestly they are the superior choice for most every engine IMO, they are the easier to read the heat range on because of the cadmium coating on the ground ring
yeah true !
I've always ran NGK on my Quads, Bikes etc. and I have never had any issues with them.
they are decent for some applications, but for performance and forced induction vehicles cheap plugs are not the way to go
thats the condensor. not a radiator
Agreed, condensor for the AC
Yeah you don't need it lol
I was just gonna say that!.. that's a condenser for the ac.. toss that shit..
That looks more like the AC condenser than the radiator
thats what i was thinking but then he said he saw fluid leaking out of it
your right it is I guess he wants a in a drift car
ac
That's what I was thinking too
it is, it's the AC condenser.
I would love to see this in a build series.... Not saying anything bad about the daily vlogs either, loving em! Keep up the great work can wait to see the Beamer spoolin up a turbo!!!
there is no point in repairing that its a air con radiatior its just another thing to stop the engine radiator getting more air
agreed, but it's called the condenser for future reference!
can just take them of and block the hoses then?
honestly you can just take it off and if you don't care about putting ac back in the car you can just leave the hoses open, the ac compressor won't turn on with the system empty anyway
just leave it off ,it is Unnecessary
I think you messed up dude. NGK spark plugs lasted 150,000 miles in my 2006 Bmw x3 and they have the same motor. Also, i think it's your mass air flow sensor. (same problem with mine) Either the mass airflow sensor or an air leak.
NGK is correct plugs for a bmw. well most everyone prefers them over the bosch ones.
also side not if you actually need to do work on bmws don't watch this guy. he makes good funny content but don't know much of anything about bmws...and that's not the rad it's to do with air con
YEP! NGK plugs are actually a step up... nothing wrong with running them... if they're the 'right' ones... right temp.
He doesn't seem to know much about cars in general.
BMW = Brought My Wallet
Black mans wheels
Beats me walking
break my window
Beat my wife
+austin mueller beat my Wien........ Wait nvm that's weird
At 5:20 was that thunder?
That is the A/c condenser the mist that was coming from it was the refridgerant (freon) leaking out which is a gas when it isn't compressed
Air, Fuel, Spark, and Compression!
Also NGK iridium plugs are the best bet, cleanest burning, pretty expensive but last the longest!
check the mass air connector and wiring the sensor is self cleaning also
I have learned that this kid is no damn mechanic
he said it himself
i mean he did break the top since he didnt know it was motorized
yes!
i agreee
NGK are the best for the bimmers lol I had a running drifting e36.
It's an ac condenser you don't need it
drift cars dont need ac, chuck it in the garbage
It's a ragtop anyway so why bother with AC?
Dalton, what brand and model is the little battery impact your using?
question, single cam, or dual cam???
Another thing that might be wrong is that being as the battery was disconnected it resets the computer, you just need to drive it so the computer can learn and self tune, that's a common problem that most don't realize and it can run like absolute crap at first, it takes around 150-200 miles for it to run really good
I tend to use Bosch in my German and Swedish cars, and NGK's on the Japanese stuff. Happen to LOVE NGK's. Thanks Dalton.
by the way, the mist you saw coming out was the refridgerant and oil mix that runs through your ac system. leave that garbage off lol
Awesome 3-D machines
A/C condenser! 8:59. And jb weld smartest thing yet!
where did you get the grey and green jacket??
last time I came this early it was a Mcchicken
this guy will have it running in time to cause joy and smiles to all who watch. So stfu he can wrench on anything.
Just sold my 1976 Jeep CJ yesterday. Never got tired of working on it. It was a fun toy, but ever since I got a boat I never used it.
Thats the AC condenser
I thought I was the only one who noticed it was a condenser
I run autolite plugs in my BMW with no issues at all. Cheap $2.00 plugs never did me wrong. Check your sensors, if any are bad, replace them. Check your timing belt. Yes its possible to jump a notch or stretch the belt. Timing chains are better LOL.
the head gaskets on those old Bmw straight 6s are notorious for going, don't let it get hot
hows olds the gas in the car??? and thats a ac condenser fyi
I think that's the AC condenser.
that is your a/c condenser for the air conditioning not your radiator and at that point i dont know if jb weld will fix to hold pressure
NGK are mostly for the performance and Bosch are used more if it's gonna be a daily driver. My Mitsubishi 3000 GT requires them, so does my Mazda MX-6 M. and Bosch are the OEM sparkplugs
I was always taught fuel, compression, and spark. However, like you said, air is also a necessity.
harbor freight has aluminum welding rods. they work awsome!!! i use a map gas torch and basically sodering aluminum.
This is the AC condenser that mist you saw was the refrigerant leaking out the fluid that was dripping from it was the ac compressor oil. If you want the ac to function properly replace this radiator this glue wont hold the pressure.
Will your ever come ride in wv
Hey dalton I wouldn't worry about repairing that part it's just the air conditioning condenser and that's why it would of been steaming out because the AC system carries gas
walmart has the spark plus and yes they are bosch
I could be wrong, but I don't think that's the rad, it looks like the condenser to me (Rad is behind it), when it misted it poured all the gas out, which also means that car probably had working AC.
Here in europe you can get bosch sparkplugs in every parts store and even gas stations
just like NGK, which are not bad at all.
+Qwerrrz alphariders yes sir they are good
Your the best RUclipsr 3D I watch u every day and u make my day
Do all vehicles have multiple spark plugs?
I thought they all only have 1
That's an a/c condenser, it was misting because it was gas refrigerant getting vented. Ditch it and install a front mount inter cooler if you're actually gonna turbo charge it.
I may be wrong but i think thats the ac condenser not the radiator
You got me stoked about this bmw
I would get Denso TT part number 4504 for it because they are awesome plugs and your local auto part store will have them, The part number for the Bosch plugs is #4301 for twin tip or 4418 for platinum +4 plugs but to be honest I have not had very good luck with them compared to the Denso's. Have fun
Pretty sure that part of the radiator you bent is the A/C condenser, not the actual radiator, which is behind the condenser.
Is the idle too low?
Why would you need Bosch? Just get the right size and you are good to go. Do you run Japanese spark plugs in your bike from Japan?
Yo, +3DMachines. NGK are not cheap!
I like this build 😊
Just seen u at the Walmart in Olean got hyped😂😂
no no you have more to it data values on the scanner you have to see the fuel trims +trim adding fuel - fuel trim subtracting fuel. Pour water on places that can leak and see where it sucks in water and rpm drop. Now if the fuel trims pass -10 or +10 it sets check engine light.
why's the truck in the shop so long ?
ngk sparkplugs are good plugs and what do u mean cheap they cost more then bosch
when is there going to be a meat up
Yep, that's the A/C condenser you just took out. You can see the radiator in the video BEHIND the condenser.
I had written and told you to have your ignition module check after seeing this video. THEN I saw your last video showing the car running.

ac condenser*
yep.. remove all the AC crap... it'll give maybe 3-5 more hp.
pro at youtube 3d
good job . I love your videos they are very entertaining
definitely check your gap on your plugs with the specs also.
I was waiting for you to hit that cover and spill the bolts.
what's the song that starts at the beginning?
You work for Stewart's?
Hey man love the vids. I have a few bmws. 95 m3 98 323ic and I've had ngk in there before and they worked. not well but they worked. as for the radiator it's an a.c. condesnser. Not the radiator. keep up the vids! any questions let me know. I can help you out man.
lol this thing is never going to run
not true dude
he's acculy making fast progress in my opinion.
Ye have little faith in 3dmachines
fast progress getting nowhere
Hes doing more than you are lol
you are amazing 3d machines
if you are making a drift car what's the car point on fixing that *radiator* worried bout wait but you dont need ac

I used Bosch Platinum spark plugs in my Pro Street Maverick Grabber
What's the name of the song thru out the video
My man! Thats the AC condenser....
That's your AC condenser not the radiator you can leave it off since the freon misted away.
loooool right?
Every time he says radiator im screaming at my pc trying to tell him its an AC condenser and he doesn't even need it. Especially if its just a drift missile.
Hi dalton, do you know what electric starter Jake put on his bike? If not you you maybe find out? Thanks, keep making awesome videos!!!!
i believe it is factory but i dont know KTMs
Yeah they're stock for a lot of the new 4 strokes, I didn't know they were on 2 strokes
+dirtbiker_ 399 300exc? not sure on the letters is a 2 stroke with electric start
08 to 2016 200-300 KTM, 2011-2014 200-300 Husaberg and 2014-2016 Husqvarna 200-300 2 stroke starters are all the same starter. I have a KTM wrapped in Husaberg plastic lol 2014 TE-250.

NGK aren't crap at all in fact they are used in many vehicles around the world. They just have to be the right plugs for the application.
But did he fix the vacuum leak?
I love the e36 mint drift car
one more thing you can braze aluminum with the right rod and a torch rather than using liquid steel which most likely wont work.. the metal has to be very very clean though.
why are u fixing the radiator if your going to put a "turbo""
You also need compression for an engine to run.
Uploaded 1hour ago and has 7,000 views that's awesome dalton thanks for the awesome content
its a air conditioner radiator leave it off save some weigh remove every to do with it. im not sure wat belt system bmws run so check if you can get a belt before you remove compresser from the motor.
you should've gotten rid of that a.c. cooler. and the pump. MORE POWER!
NGK plugs are the best!
Like the reggae!
why would you keep a/c in a drift car?! i striped my a/c rad pump and piping
or put the plug in the cap hold it against some metal like on a motorbike and crank it see if u see a spark from each coil
Are yz250fs good?
How do I get the stickers
Thats the a/c condenser not the radiator.
YOU KICKED THE CONDENSER
Dalton. that's the a/c condensor.
U should replace all the sparkplugs then get the computer thingy and hook it ul to the bmw that way you know which cylinders arent firing then u know which coils to replace i had to do that on my moms car
fck NGK caused me enough trouble in my motorcycle engine! Iridium sparkplug is the way to go!
