An excellent video Marty! Your caravan came out perfect! Kevin never fails to make me laugh. Never a dull moment when Kevin is about! Thank you Marty for sharing your talents and humor with us! Our days are brighter because of you, your wife and of course Kevin.
Hello Marty. Nice to see you again. I hope you and your family is fine. Many fans in Germany and I missed you too. You did a very good job restoring the food truck. Well and Kevin, he's still the old man. Can't stop it. But everyone still loves. LG your fans from Germany.
If you pour the paint slowly down the bit of sprue you use to stir, it will use less paint and not gum the jar threads up. Love the video. Came out pretty much perfect.
This was one of my favorite vehicles when I was a kid, (it was actually one of my older brothers) and you have done a wonderful job refurbishing it back to its originals condition.
With the state of the world just now your videos are more welcoming than ever. The trailer needs a nice wee van to attach to next lol. Kevin and the paint stripper is hilarious. Keep up with the good work.
The sink is on the right hand side, by the rear door. It has a lid over it. I used to service one many years ago as an apprentice. Very accurate model for its size.
Marty thanks for that. The dog he just likes you or thinks you might give him a snack. He looks friendly so while his master is away give him a big cuddle. Also he might keep Kevin inline.
Super restoration as always.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Thanks for sharing. But next time you want to have a burger, go to HIGHWAY 1 and get a "Billinudgel Special Burger" 🍔 and a big mug of black coffee☕ instead of KEVIN's "chew & choke - happy go pukey" one. (I'm sorry but I can't resist making that pun 😂😂😂) Thank You again for sharing and bringing so much joy and fun to your worldwide MMM Family. 😂😁👍🏼 Best regards to You, Julie, the team behind the scenes and (of course) the probably most "un-koalafied" burger fryer in the world, KEVIN🐨
Hi Marty, really enjoying these restorations. The casting detail is truly amazing when seen up close, real works of art. A suggestion for the sauce bottle, label it up and put it somewhere safe. Don't think having that on a sandwich is going to do any one a favour!
It's amazing the quality of detail on the interior kitchen set up. Considering how small the access shutter is, but then remembering being a 5 year old down on the floor playing with my Matchbox toys, it is just the right size for little people to peer in and imagine the goings on. After all these weren't meant for big hands, they were meant for little hands and big imaginations. 👍😊
Kevin strikes again! The model looks great Marty and it is hard to believe it was in such bad condition before. I was great to see another tutorial from you. Thanks for making and sharing this.
Great resto, and no shortage of paper towel or toilet paper here in Denmark - they got tons and tons of it in the stores, but not much hand sanitizer or rubbing alcohol.. Stay safe down there.
Great to see you back and well. Hope you and your family are all well during this madness. I for one , and I am sure I’m speaking for Timerider & Matchbox Garage and all the other restorers who look forward to your videos. Take care from Mark - originally from Hungerford in the UK
Glad to have you back Marty, I've re-watched a number of your old videos during the recent quarantine and was getting close to running out of things to watch.
Hi Marty, Nice to see you back. You were missed!! Awesome restoration job on the refreshment caravan (trailer). "Royale with cheese" was a popular line in the movie "Pulp Fiction" Keep up the great work mate !! Cheers brother !!!
FYI, those "nail punches" are called "nail sets", at least in the USA. You use them for setting finishing nails below the surface of the wood. Or in this case for upsetting the ends of axle shafts.
Glad to see you back , another great video , it is amazing the level of detail that matchbox put into the interior of such a ordinary looking model, Stay safe at this terrible time to all your subscribers
Great to have you back. Fantastic restoration as always. Matchbox should be sponsoring you for keeping the brand in everyone’s mind and preserving their history.
Hi Marty glad to see you are model restoring, was worried about you, the missus and Kevin. Stay well, you must have a huge stockpile to keep going on with if life gets quiet so have fun!
Can only repeat what others have said, great to have a new restoration video. Greetings from a locked down Wokingham, UK. Just up the road from Basingstoke.
@@BigLisaFan Greetings! I'm still planning on coming to Toronto for FanExpo in late August, that is, if things have settled down by then. My Calgary Expo trip had to be cancelled due to the virus.
Your son's dog is Beautiful!!! 😍

Kevin, my hero of mayhem :)

Great work Marty once again, thanks.

Glad you are ok and sharing this lovely little restoration with a world in social isolation.

Thanks for another enjoyable video!
This is one of my favorite Matchbox vehicles. Glad you were able to return it to like new condition.
Have been watching you from Canada for quite a while now. Always enjoy watching your restorations. Thanks again.
thanks you
Great job. Marty!
Great restoration again.👍😎💪🥁
We missed you Marty🤩
Nice Shiny Paint..
A little bit of Marty to ease the Covid isolation boredom
The intricate detail on the inside of the van would never be produced nowadays. Lesney made incredible castings.
A lot of toys from before the 70s are really little works of art.
That crazy Kevin
Beautiful dog mate!
After nothing but bad news every day for weeks, I am so happy that you have posted this Marty
Aahhh... Good boy :) cool doggie :) greetings from Poland :)
Hello Marty, congratulations. Beautiful!
Fantastic video Marty!! Thank you!!
Just the perfect video for those of us on lockdown....
Your videos just get better and better! Love the hilarious ending.
Nice job. You're very lucky to find a play-worn canteen with both an intact hitch and a door/awning!
Glad to see your doing okay and still with us. Love your channel!
Was about to say it.
A Guard Dog to keep Kevin in check... 😆!
Oh,,, that was fun!!!!
Hi Marty, really enjoying these restorations. The casting detail is truly amazing when seen up close, real works of art.

Welcome Back Marty. I wanted to let you know that you inspired me to begin a RUclips channel and restore / customize the great toys.
Glad I watched to very end. Very funny. We all need the laughter.

Nicely done, sir. Needed the second decal for the lower half of the closed side.
I've been worrying about you, nice to see you back online
Thanks Marty! A wonderful video!
I'd have been tempted to paint the details of the interior. It really is beautifully sculpted and cast.
Crisp little resto

Looks amazing 👌
Good to see you back Martin!
Nice to see you back Marty l have been watching some of you old videos to keep me going worked well say hello to Julie and Kevin
Those are some tough looking, hard working hands. I bet you sanded down those casting imperfects with just a rough patch of your skin. Great job, BTW.
Good to have you back Marty. We can all breathe again.
Just found you content !!!!! And I'm glad I did!!! Thanks for the nice resto and the laugh too😊👍🏼!!!!
Glad you enjoyed!

Yayyyy!! Trust you are well.
I don't remember seeing many non-automobile Matchboxes in my youth ('60s/'70s). I really like these
After 3 months in hospital I get to binge watch all your videos that I missed.
Your page was recommended by Rob at matchbox garage, and I have to say, your are just as entertaining as he is. 👌🏼
Thanks Rob!
Nice job Marty.

I like how you are a truest to your restoration. I would have loved to see the pink one too. Great restoration.

Excellent! Well all but the ketchup.
Well done, thank you
Can only repeat what others have said, great to have a new restoration video. Greetings from a locked down Wokingham, UK. Just up the road from Basingstoke.
I grew up at 34 Kelvin Hill in Basingstoke! :)
I had one of those when I was a kid over in Bangkok. Wished I'd a kept it...
Restoration is wonderful! Dog is having abandonship issues. Poor doggy
Always a break from the cares of the day when there's a new Marty video. Glad you're back & hope your holiday went well.
