I've gone back in time, to enjoy all the videos 📹 I missed before I started watching the channel. 🙂 Thank you, for all your hard work, dedication to sharing your knowledge and time. Plus, your humour 😄
Very well done! Nice colors, great creativity in repairs & restoration, I really enjoy the vintage cars!! Beautiful end product! Thank you for the entertainment!
I have just recently started following your videos and as a matchbox and hotwheels lover as a kid, they bring back some fond memories. One thing that makes me crack up are the newspaper liners you use in your paint booth! I still have many videos to go and look forward to seeing them...and you paint booth lines. Bravo Zulu on your work.
Minuto 18... Más o menos....y muero de risas con esos titulares.... En las revista de atrás....mientras hablas normalmente del resto del trabajo! Un genio Marty... Cómo siempre!... Gracias por la calidad de tus videos.!! Abrazo!
Packard was an American car manufacturing company based out of Detroit, Michigan USA, but now no longer in business and a Packard car is the Poor Man's Luxury Car. Those colors are beautiful. Cheers from Wisconsin USA
1969. Over fifty years ago now. This really takes me back. My Uncle acquired an early Thirties Senior Series Packard about that time. I know they are called "barn finds." This one really was. The straight eight engine had a cracked block. Over a period of ten years, he managed to restore the Packard. It was taken down to the frame. Lots of black Rust-o-leum. Three tons of Detroit luxury. Black on the bottom, blue on top. These are very comfortable, like sitting on a living room couch. I was sent a link a few years ago for a Packard, for sale. Lo and behold, it was my Uncle's car. Great restoration , Marty!
Packards are one of those names that are now so old and so forgotten by the public that people forget that Packard was a luxury marque in the 1930s, with close to but not quite the same cachet as Cadillac.
Julie, I am using your gravy bowl. I knew the hot water would help. It also helps with adjusting resin. Also if you are working with vinyl in model kits. The car does look like Fort Knox. I am glad you are still well. Good luck in avoiding the nasty virus. You have a pleasant looking walkway out to your shed. I remember those paint samples. I am surprised the stripper did not melt the bottles.
WOW! Went from disaster - area to Oh My God, it awesome!!!! With the lock up we're going through, I found this video absolutely relaxing, and enjoyed it even more! Thanks for taking us along.
KEVIN! ....don't talk to me about Kevin! - He put olive oil on the brakes because they squeaked . Turns out he never went to motor mechanics night school as I thought!!! Grrrr!
Beautiful and highly detailed model. As always excellent work the colors look fantastic. Please stay safe and healthy everyone and let’s all get through this difficult time. God Bless. Thank you Marty for making our time pretty much confined in our homes more bearable and relaxing.
Forget the cars... I just tune in to see the headlines in the spray booth and this episode was a classic! Well done Marty, great attention to detail as always, great vid. Keep em coming mate, we’ve missed you.
I really like these Models of Yesteryear makeovers. I had a couple as a kid and the tutorials bring back a lot of good memories. This was an excellent restoration and I think the colors look great! I was impressed with how well Matchbox designed the model and how much effort it took in disassembling it. I too have lost many model parts that fell onto the carpet monster never to be seen again so I can relate to searching for one that flew through the air. Kevin, as usual, strikes again. Thank you for sharing this wonderful tutorial.
Good tip about labelling the bottles buddy. When I was about 5 I drank some paraffin that was stored in a pop bottle in my uncles' shed. Awesome restoration as ever!! :)
Another great video to cheer us all up during this period , trust Kevin to try and spoil all your hard work 😭 stay safe and well and keep the videos coming to cheer us all up
Absolutely beautiful color scheme. When you showed the burgundy interior and convertible top, I thought no, that won’t do. But I was so wrong. It just added to the overall elegance of the model. Outstanding! Thanks. You should put olive oil on Kevin and cook him in that little oven for a bit. See ya next time.
That is a proper job Marty , color combination looks great on that Packard Victoria. Shame you trusted Kevin to do the breaks Hope the Pakard didn't get damaged too much .... oh yeah and of course your good self 😉👍
My wife and I enjoyed your work. Phenomenal job! Your restoration videos are keeping us entertained during the quarantine. Keep up the good work. Oh and a hello from Nampa, Idaho
Been waiting for your next video. I really find your presentation and voice quite relaxing and informative. I admire your technique for straightening the white metal parts.
Brilliant restoration. But the little skit in the end is hilarious. Plus the bloopers made my day. So thank you Marty.
Glad you enjoyed it

That orange gold color is amazing! This whole model came out great.
What a beautiful little model. A few of the old larger Matchbox cars were in my collection as a kid. The Packard was one of my favorites!
An EXCELLENT restoration job!!.. Looks better than it did when it left the Lesney Factory!!.. Keep up the great work Bud!!
Great job!! And, great job by Kevin for solving the problem of that annoying squeak by disconnecting the brakes. NO REFUND........GUARANTEED!!!!!!
