So France, gets an entire subtree in a tech tree that didn't need it to give them more AMRAAM vehicles, but Italy, who leased their F16 with the express purpose of using AMRAAMs can't even get them on their ADF.
We got the Gripen and Harrier so it’s fine imo
It’s crazy because it even says in the wiki for the F-16 ADF (Italy) that “Italian F-16 armament consisted of AIM-120, AIM-9L, and also AIM-7E and M anti-air missiles.” That quote was taken directly from the wiki.
Chinese MLU also missing AIM-120's as well.
@@MrNPC Chinese MLU didnt have 120s....... its a Taiwanese F16 technically and USA didnt give the MLU 120s so no it shouldnt get them. this is precisely why china getting a taiwan F16 was fkn stupid considering at the time the contract was ONLY for taiwan and china had no say in that agreement
@@123TheCloopthe thing is Taiwanese F16 uses 120C-7 which isn’t the other 120s we get this update. Not saying it will be overpowered but maybe 120C wasn’t within the scope for this time

Pretty much Americas situation with the F16 and the F15 right now. Japan has the best F15 and the Belgian F16 is the best since it can bring 300cm which helps alot (MAW is irrelevant)
Germany has been fucked as far as top tier tanks badly. Italy now is getting better 2A7 technically and Sweden has had the best Leo 2’s for 2 years now.
As far as German air it’s not as bad since it’s all exports for the most part so it has an excuse to not be great but if the Eurofighter comes and it’s trash then that will be an issue.

Overall the F-16AM is only better because the F-16C lacks armament,many people forget its the first F-16 which carried AIM-9X's.
What's funny is the fact USA made f16 f15 f4 but in game we have like the worse versions of them gaijin just hates USA plus all other countries get 30km+ amraams but USA gets like 18km amraams. By the time the US reaches the field R77`s would have picked 60% of us off and if the Russians players were smart they would abuse it and get to the battlefield fire all amraams then go back to base and keep the cycle going if amraams are coming I think we should get the aim120b and c

@@mesobean it is a sidegrade at best, the MAW can useful but the extra countermeasures means you only carry 4 missiles so that's a no go. F-16C accelerates faster and has a slight edge on rate fighting too
France gets all the Benelux stuff even though it has enough of its own, and Germany gets an old shitty F4 ICE that is also cropped.
This is just so ridiculous.
For me it's a good time to stop playing WT, Gaijin should play their own garbage..

@@zacharymarino8926 doesn’t necessarily mean anything there’s also auto TCAS switches when the block 50 doesn’t have that, I’m pretty sure they just make all f16 cockpits the same sorta like blank buttons in cars

@@ICECAPPEDSKY they modified few parameters and now it turns less at low speed or/and with afterburner on
I never really tried to dogfight at low speed with it period because it bleeds speed super hard. It’s definitely something to keep in mind but when I fly it I rarely go slower than .90 Mach. Going slow or dogfighting in Air rb with a delta wing is a death sentence.
Probably won’t change too much for me.
@@ICECAPPEDSKY often my dogfights with the m2k are in rb ground battle, when you merge with an ennemy you have no choice but to turn hard

Need a new helicopter for that, currently the only helicopter that can carry lmur is the mi28nm, you'll need ka52+ for the lmur
@@_solaris_4057 you're right. Maybe next update we'll see the Ka-52M so they'll have to add some new missile to it otherwise doesn't make sense to add it.
LMUR is currently only tested on the Mi-28NM & KA-52 and only the NM is in-game.

With the current crop of medium range active radar missiles coming to game all of these jets with them will perform BVR roughly the same. All of their radars have enough range to fire these missiles at ranges in which they will be effective and deadly. The AIM-54 has greater range however at really long ranges these missiles are easy to defeat and at close range the AIM-54 can't pull as hard as these other missiles which means it won't be as effective.
It won't be until and if they add some of the more modern long range air to air missile which there are not many of them.
How do i use the 180 extra countermeasures it only lets me use 120 even tho i have the pods equipped?
I had this glitch as well on the new f16a. Try clicking on the countermeasures alone on the mods menu and hit copy. It will start a new custom load out. This worked for me. Let me know if that helps.

You have to put the maw pod on a hardpoint in order to change countermeasures to chaff only, since you are only changing the countermeasures for the pod itself. The f16AM comes with 120 flares for free.
Su-25SM3 was the first one with MAW. And harrier too.
Funny that I was about to start the grind of the us tech tree afrer finishing the french one of the F-104 and F-16, and now I see both plane I wanted on top notch versions in the french tech tree, might start playing more of wt lmao
As someone who plays all nations. I actually think it’s balanced that you get a MAW system if you loose 2 missiles. Going from 6(which isn’t a ton of missiles) to just 4 is a big thing to give up
You dont have to take maw under your pylons to use it. This aircraft already has preinstalled maw camera (or smth idk) above its engine, at the same place there f16a mlu and f16d barak have their parachutes.

Depends on configuration, the inner pylon can only carry droptanks, and some ordinance, I've seen pictures on newest f16 like the block 70 carrying 2 amrams per pylon, except the wingstips

No way to mount it. An aim7 would work but the aim120 uses a rail, aim 7 lugs.
@@leftnut7508 Aim120s have lugs. If you’re talking about the PIDs system, you attack a secondary pylon that interfaces with the lugs. Aim120 lugs work on f16 wingtip pylons.

Is it supposed to get them so why wouldn't you especially at a later date. Considering by that time other countries should have fox 3. Unless the snail isn't giving the aim120 to the adf because the aim120 was to dominant the first 10nyears it was out. Considering no one had anything to touch it at that time.

The patch that nerfed every single flying vehicle energy retention resulted in the block10 and F-16C have similar sustained turn rate, and the block15/20 worse than the C. This means that right now the F-16C still has a 2 circle performance advantage over the F-16AM (block15) on a clean configuration. If they carry weapons the C even gets more of an advantage
