That hole is for the scales with changeable inlays. The inlays use magnets and they come with a little tool to pop them out. The tool slides in that hole.
I think but I’m not positive that the tool come swith the inlays. 🤷 I don’t actually have one of these knives I’ve just watched some other videos with the changeable inlays.
I want one but I’m torn on what blade shape to go with. They all look nice and clean. Normally I don’t like tanto a whole lot and that one even looks like a sweet choice.
@@doodysdaggers yea honestly that or drop point seem like the way to go. I want to go be a little pokey and that sheep’s foot does still look like it can stab into things good.
This is the perfect example on why the Jack Wolf fixed blade is overpriced. You can get this in g10 or micarta for less then the JW and in titanium for only $15 more.
Nice warnie sheep's footsie Magnacut blade. Think I'd go with the Micarta scales though. I'm interested in the HRC on the blade as well. Thanks for the video Dood.
I’m curious how your ulticlip holds up? I work outdoors & mine got super trashed, wouldn’t even close right anymore. Thinking dirt getting into it from my hands but idk, not a fan of ulticlip. Only used it like 10 times too.

Oh I remember reading something about that in their website. Do you need a special tool?

I’m pretty sure it’s just a thin piece of bar stock with a right angle bend at one end and you stick it in and turn it like a key.
I think lefty edc is where I saw the scale swap video
Sweet! Glad you got to see it. The cut test will be epic.
Absolutely epic
Wish the hrc was a little bit higher but it looks great as an edc.
That is like a camp chef fixie for the fancy cook. Thanks for the vid!
Wow that is SOOOOOOO SICK!!!!!
Now that's a fixed blade worth the money!
Beautiful Blade

I’d say sheepsfoot but that’s just me
