Compared to others where the main character died after being stabbed for 30 times, hit by an arrow 10km away, and then talked for 5 mins before dying. Is that what you want? I love how this show (and others) often made getting your throat slit seem like it's sleepy time. It's my understanding that you don't just lay over and die but rather there's a fair amount of gurgling and I'm guessing it takes a minute to die of suffocation and/or drowning in your own blood. Maybe I'm wrong. But whatever, seeing Arya get a few extra stabs in there before the finishing blow was satisfying. Meryn had it coming.
I would assume the gurgling would only happen if you cut into the wind pipe and blood gets in. Otherwise if you cut too shallow you'd just cut veins and artilleries and the person would bleed out.
It's not just the suffocation or drowning in blood. It's the sudden loss of blood supplying the brain. That can be pretty much sleepy time. All depends on what's actually cut.
There's a book, "On Killing" where the author explains that we have a natural repulsion to stabbing people. The impulse is to slice, which is usually ineffective and slow. Soldiers have to be trained to overcome the urge to slice and have to be taught to stab instead. Stabbing the kidneys is usually faster, cleaner, and is generally just more effective if the intention is to kill.
She never completed her list though. Cersei was on that list (killed by bricks). And so were Ilyn Payne (fate unknown), Tywin Lannister (toilet accident), Joffrey (death by marriage) and Melisandre.

Ian Beattie was absolutely incredible as the character. As had a lot less screen time then other villains of the show. But we still hated him just as much as the others.
I got some friends that run cons and stuff like that. Said fella was one of the most sweet and chill etc. of actors they worked with. Him and the guy who played Gimli.
Many of the scenes in this show were difficult AF, kudos and bravo to those that sold their performances so well that there were actual genuine emotions and responses from people across all spectrums.

Severing the veins in the neck = nearly instant loss of consciousness. The loss of blood pressure shuts down higher brain functions in mere seconds. Ever stand up too fast and everything goes dark and swimmy for a moment? Like that, but much worse.
In the final episodes I wanted to see Arya find Jamie dead from the stab wounds that Euron gave him and take his face. Then she would find Cersei and stab her, making her think that her brother/lover had killed her. After that I'd want Arya to help the Hound fight the Mountain and Arya would die so that Sandor could live and have a good life as a night. I didnt think Arya would be able to ever throw off her killer instinct and live a normal life

I never understood how taking a face works for size differences. Like I get it Arya can take Jamie's face and look like him, but how can she be bigger and have a body structure like Jamie?
Arya almost always makes a point of revealing her identity to her victims. I think she believes that to be a vital part of revenge (I agree). The only time she didn't do it was when she poisoned House Frey, and I always felt that took away from that scene. She wouldn't kill Cersei as Jamie. She'd use his face to get close and kill her after revealing herself.
My heart was totally broken when realised that syrio forel died I think that was the best thing done by GOT that they don't show syrio dying but at this point 🌝🌝
