I used to have a 2011 Dodge Charger, the only thing I miss is the torque. I drive a 2018 Impreza hatch which is an eco car but I’ve had more fun in this car than my Charger, the main difference is how well my car handles in comparison, The dodge is fun for going fast straight, but the Impreza is more fun for cornering and off roading. Subaru’s flat 4’s are amazing for sound quality like you said. One day I’ll just drop in a jdm wrx motor and I’ll be happy. I just need another 100 hp and I’ll be happy as can be. 152 is great for economy but not so great for fun. The problem is the new wrx and sti’s don’t come in a hatch and the levorg isn’t sold in the states and even if it was, it’s still auto only and the rear end is ugly as hell. So I’m pretty sure I’ll end up doing a conversion swap at some point. Until then I’ll be enjoying my Impreza stock and saving money on gas lol. Can’t wait to have a spooly boi under the hood though.

Sounds like compressor surge whilst under throttle. Which would be terrible and be raping the compressor shaft bearings. However I'm sure it's just an external wastegate.

I plan on keeping it fully stock on the wrx motor and not doing anything to it other than a bov. I’ll most likely end up replacing the transmission and differentials and a few other things though. Still looking into everything that I’ll have to swap but until then I’ve got a muffler delete and it sounds perfect. Just lacking the uel headers and a turbo for the best sound possible.

You mea twin turbo it? I wouldn't know the answer to that, but I do know that twin turbos aren't necessary. They only add complexity, might as well fit a single well sized twin-scroll turbo. Only need two turbos if you want rediculously high boost pressures, then you run them in a compound setup.

Though a new head is coming up, along with 32 psi of boost, and of course all the other supportives (cam upgrade, rods, valve springs too) i should be getting over my 400whp milestone, at least i hope so! That shit brick car, also cost me in excess of 15 grand now. Its amazing how much it costs to bring things back in shape..
