Hi Joseph, greetings from Copenhagen. I have been putting off thanking you for your videos for far too long. I have Stage IV prostate cancer that has spread to many parts of my body and a life expectancy of under a year. I recognize so many of the struggles you have, and really wish I could hug you. One thing about chemo: I didn't really experience the side effects of the treatment till after the last round of chemo when it turned out that I suffered from neuropathy. From then on my ability to walk gradually diminished. Today I'm in a wheelchair. Please make sure that the doctors take all precautions to spare you from that. I think about you often. You are so brave, and I wish you all the best on your strenous journey.

Watching your videos has been a heartfelt journey. My sister was diagnosed with colon and liver cancer around the same time as you. She has opted out of any treatment. So far for the last 8 months she has been able to do all the things she normally would do. She has no symptoms from the cancers yet other than a tremendous amount of weight loss. Science tells us that she should be seeking treatment as you are and my family said to give it a fighting chance. She has been stage 4 all along. She’s had one blood transfusion and a Covid shot. Other than that nothing. She demands it’s her body and we now respect and accept that. I see what you are going through and I feel for you and admire your strength and courage to fight for this one precious life we have. I thank God that everyday that passes for my sister she is pain free. I will continue to watch your vlogs as who knows how long my sister’s journey will be. Everyone of course is different and we have to respect their wishes. I am watching from the sidelines and being even more grateful for waking up healthy and not taking this life for granted. God bless you and wishing you health and strength through your journey ❤️

You don’t need to be professional for us. In the cancer world we don’t expect perfection. We just want your real feelings and thoughts.
    Positive vibes coming your way.

You have been through a lot and you don’t need to worry about having a point it’s just nice to see your smiling face and hearing how you are progressing. You really do look wonderful and not at all showing your fatigue or stress. Give yourself a break during treatment I hear the longer you are having treatments the days needed to bounce back increase, so from that sense you are progressing normally. Do you like doing puzzles or video games? Thinking good thoughts for a complete recovery.

    • @JosephRea24

Thanks, Michelle. Yes, I am definitely noticing that it takes longer to recover. I don't do puzzles or video games, but I do like staring at the wall for long periods of time. :)

Joseph, from a viewer's perspective you go deep into an analysis and are as articulate as they come. I was noting that to myself when you started expressing concerns about your eloquence, and I had to laugh. It's clear your mind still traces through the web of connections of this difficult experience producing good insight after good insight. Nothing to worry about.

Well hang in there. One day at a time. Patience! Perseverance! Just keep looking ahead and visualize the day when you are happily riding your bike down the road with plenty of energy and are past this stuff. This world can be a difficult place sometimes. Yesterday I watched a video made by a guy whose very dearly loved 22 year old son died of a drug overdose just 3 days ago. He gave the impression that what you are going through is child's play compared to how devastated and heartbroken he is feeling.
God Loves you. Just try to embrace that fact properly and then enjoy times of realizing that this world isn't the Disneyland it's just the temporary road to the Disneyland...
