3 Years After Cancer Diagnosis and Surgery - Stage 4 Colon Cancer Survivor

  • In Decemeber 2020, I went to the doctor due to some abdominal discomfort. Little did I know my entire life was about to change. After a CT scan and colonoscopy, a significant tumor was found in my large intestine. Two days later, I was on the operating table and facing a serious diagnosis: Stage 4 Colon Cancer.
Over the following year, I went through two major surgeries, six months of chemotherapy and countless doctor appointments. I was told that, given my diagnosis, survival odds were 20-25%.
Now, three years later I am living a full and vibrant life. I am now in remission with no trace of cancer in my body. I am incredibly grateful to be here, and to have my health restored. In this video, I reflect on the journey over the past three years, and what I have learned through this life-altering experience.

When you are diagnosed, you search the web for Hope... what I found was fear, death and affliction.
We all need to show that we are alive, that we can live, that we can cure...
So THANK YOU sir for sharing the good news. On this eve of the most holy day of the year, be blessed for spreading Hope !

Thank you for sharing your journey! My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer almost identical to how you described yours. He had his last treatment dec 2022 and has been completely clear since. 🙏🏼
I think it’s very important to talk about the trauma that comes with being through that for the patient and those closest to them. Life will never be the same. It is very painful to look back at those experiences but also the appreciation for life and true happiness.
Happy holidays and congratulations on coming out beautifully on the other side of that

Hi there! So glad to hear about your husband's recovery. Yes, I agree, it's super important to acknowledge the impact not just physically, but emotionally and psychologically. That is one of my goals, to help people understand that part of the journey and to share my firsthand experience. Thank you for reaching out, so much to be grateful for!

@@shanthakumari1627 I was diagnosed with cancer at 27. I don't have a diet, but my doctor told me to exercise every days , run for hour , not eat meat, and if I eat meat it should be boiled. He gave me a Chinese herbal supplement called Reishi mushroom.

I could listen to you speak for hours, Joseph; what a profound difference it makes when one communicates from their heart and soul, without pretense, as you do. I agree with everything you touched upon in the video, as well as the healthy attitude and approach you took to meet this challenge from the start. May you be another one of the success stories that generates the requirement for a major amendment to the current database of potentially irrelevant statistics. Anyone who is struggling with a major health issue would be well served in heeding your wise words. Take care, Joseph. 💜☯️🤗

So glad to hear you are doing so well! Just came upon your story and glad you are sharing your experience with others like me who are going through our own cancer journey. It's been so tough on me mentally, with depression and severe anxiety that has been crippling for me. Every trip to my oncologist, every scan, etc. brings about so much angst for me. You are so inspiring to others--God bless!!

    Hi Joseph,
I live in South Africa. The sun is always shining here and there is always the risk of developing skin cancer if you have a light skin. I developed a growth on the lower eye lid of my right eye. I do not know if it is cancer or just a benign growth but I went on a high nutrition diet for about two months and the growth have shrunk noticeably.
I would like to share the diet with you.
    The soup
Ingredients: - two handfuls of Chopped broccoli, one chopped onion (purple), two bags of green tea, two pinches of mixed herbs, two sticks of cut celery, Two handfuls of frozen and crushed spinach or kale, half a table spoon of crushed garlic, Three shakes of black pepper, seven shakes of turmeric, two tablespoons full of apple cider vinegar (with the mother), one bag of white onion powder soup for flavour, a hand full of cooked red speckled beans and a handful of cooked mince meat.
Just add all the ingredients in a pot, add boiling water and switch the stove on high till the water boils. Then lower the heat until the water simmer, Let the soup simmer for an hour. The soup is now ready.
I would only drink water in the morning. At 12h00 I would start eating the soup. There will be about two helpings that you can eat in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. I also ate a fruit salad every day in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame.
(Note: Apparently turmeric reduces the effect of some chemotherapy drugs and thus should not be taken during chemotherapy.)
During the rest of the week I would also eat food that contains vitamin D like avocado’s, mushrooms, liver and eggs in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame.
It seems to be working for me, maybe it will also work for you.
I pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ that the cancer will not return. Amen.
I would also like to share the following seven videos with you about salvation and two videos about evolution:
