Dania's Stage 4 COLON CANCER Story: “I Had No Alarming Symptoms!" | The Patient Story

- Dania, a 35-year-old mother of three, shares her story of being diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. At first, Dania didn't have alarming cancer symptoms. She had dealt with stomach issues for years, like feeling bloated and constipated after eating certain foods.
It wasn't until a Saturday in September 2022 when she felt a strange stomach pain after a wedding that didn't go away. After a week of discomfort, tests at the ER revealed a large colon tumor and she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. She then began immunotherapy with Keytruda.
Dania hopes her story motivates others, especially young people, to advocate for their health.

I'll be praying for you. I'm a stage 4 colon cancer patient as well. In August 2021 I was rushed to the hospital because I hadn't been feeling well, lost over 40lbs in less than a month, stomach cramps and blood in my stool. I didn't get checked out because a few years earlier I had been diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome and just thought that's what it was. They ran tests and found out that I have stage 4 colon cancer and did surgery to relocate my colon. The doctors told me the next morning that they didn't expect me to live 2 years but I told them that I was going to prove them wrong. I'm on my second round of chemo treatments because I did radiation treatments which caused the cancer to grow and spread. I'm not giving up and I'm going to beat this cancer and so will you!!
Thank you for sharing ❤️ praying for you, my friend 🙏🏽 we’ll beat this monster!!
❤🙏🏾
🙏🙏❤
Stay Strong
Praying for you. 🙏🏼 What kind of tests did they run on you that helped diagnose it?
I am a stage 4 colon cancer survivor. I was 37 when I received my diagnoses after going on my own for a colonoscopy. 3 years, a lot of surgery, and chemo I am CANCER FREE!! Positive attitude is key. Thank you for sharing your story
Evidence are showing, overuse of antibiotics, specifically sulfonamides/trimethoprim are contributing to the increasing rate of colon cancer in young people. I sometimes wonder if it is the cause in many of these diagnoses.
Thanks for sharing. One of my dearest friends just got diagnosed stage 4 at 45 y-o a few days ago. It's very scary.
@@alexe4318 so is red meat and alcohol. Red meat sits undigested for very long periods in our body.
Yes: antibiotics ,alcohol, red meat are very bad for colon, it's pretty well documented. These are so widespread in the western world that it is no surprise colon cancer is increasing.
How many and what surgeries did u do?
Dear god please have compassion on this woman. Please give her strength and eternal love from her family
He already has and is and will continue
@@Kingjamesbible161do you know if she is still alive? I tried to google her for recent updates

I'm 68 and have had Crohn's Disease since 1976 when it was an almost unknown disease. I believe one in two or three million had it back than. Now all you see are medications for Crohn's. I've had absolutely no medical problems for the past 38 years, until about July/August 2023, when I began to have mucus discharge. I had a colonoscopy in November and was diagnosed with stage 3 rectum cancer. I'll be starting chemotherapy and radiation treatments within the next week or so. Please pray and wish me well.
Praying for you ❤
Prayers for you 🙏

You are amazing

So, you didn’t utilize doctors, medicine, or science? Just god?

God brought me here . Praying for you Sister, may continue to comfort you and heal completely. All for His glory 🙌🏼
All of these cancer patients are no unfortunate coincidence. We are living in a toxic environment and culture. I pray that you and your family are doing well.
Agree!!
GMO's are likely the cause.
The insane Covid Jabs might be a reason as well.. Cases of Cancer and Turbocancer especially by young people are exploding.. 💉💉💉💉
That is true. An unfortunately part of that "toxic environment" was wrong medical practice with the whole Corona virus thing. I won't use the "V" word.
I agree! Especially around d the yrs of 2019-2023.😮
Too many young people are being diagnosed with this cancer. My prayers are with you.
I never had one single sign of any of this. I had watched Dr. Oz who had had a colonoscopy where 3 polyps were found. At age 70 i had never had a colonoscopy, but decided maybe I should have one. Mine turned up a cancerous tumor, which was removed. I never had chemo, or any other treatment. I was lucky to have had no further problems, at 13 years now. Thank God!
8 months ago I had stage 1 colon cancer….i was 50. They removed the polyp but 2 months later they decided to do another biopsy to make sure they got it all. They did get it all, however my colon was perforated by the procedure so I had to have a colon resection and emergency ostomy. I have a huge hernia. I get my reversal and hernia repair January 30, 2024 then 2 months later I will need a colonoscopy to make sure cancer hasn’t returned. Praying for you, stay strong! So glad you advocated for your health ❤️🙏
Sending so much positivity and well wishes your way!❤
🙏 for you
GOD is with you leave all
Your anxiety and worries to him

Dear lord please watch over this beautiful soul. Watch over her kids and family. Amen
This woman is a warrior. She is open about her experiences. I hope a miracle happens.
There's no such thing as a miracle ✨️. Time to grow up. 😶
@@alphaomega1351 miracles happen every day✨✨
@@alphaomega1351its ok if you don’t believe in them personally. Everyone doesn’t feel the same. I think miracles are very subjective depending on who you ask.
Let’s be honest, some doctors are just more skilled & willing, hence the referral to get a second opinion. So glad you’re feeling better.
My husband is an 8yr survivor of S4 CC w/Mets to liver. 💙❤️- keep the faith girl 🙏🏼
Hi there, so what treatment was given to remove cancer from the liver
Unfortunately there are way too many doctors who shrug off their patients pain. Especially if they are women. Thank God you are ok now. Continue to stay strong in the Lord. 🙏🏻
I'm so happy for you God is good I just recently had a lower anterior resection going on 5 weeks recovery now I'm cancer free and I pray in the name of Jesus it stays that way! Thank you for sharing your story❤
Unfortunately, my loved one was not an advocate for herself. She was afraid to question her doctors. She downplayed her situation to her family. It was too late when her family found out. She passed away a week ago at age 55.
So sorry for your loss. God bless her soul and bless you and all who are suffering her loss.
I'm so sorry💙Sending love
I’m so very sorry for your loss 🙏🏽 sending you love and prayers
How many years she's become cancer free . And what she did for her diet sir , that she reached 55 yrs old from 35 years old ... May i know sir if you never mind , im from philippines
So sorry ..it runs in my family bad
I’m taking note of her optimism and positivity during this season of her life. 💜
When I first was told how serious it was, drs said how’s you home and financial life, if these two are positive it seems the chance to fight increases drastically
I’m thankful every single morning
I'm going through same problem with you. I'm doing chemotherapy every two weeks for 3 years now. God is with me always,so I'm not worried or scared about this.
I really like this woman and her husband sounds so kind and concerned about her.
I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer - that spread to my lymph nodes a year and a half ago. I had the surgery to remove the tumor and went through chemo. It was a dificult journey, but like you, I continue to receive amazing medical care and feel very blessed. Wishing you the best.
How are you now ,has the cancer gone?same thing with my relative but he has not gone through chemo yet ,,but tumour removed surgically?kindly anything yo think is vital ....thank you ....best wishes

How does someone get a cancer dx? My lung CT scan read, must suspicious for lung cancer. The bx was negative thank God. It's always good to get second opinions.

Some people have the gift that they take good/bad news in a calm way. I think it is a blessing to have that!
It's a skill that can be learnt.
It’s her faith in Christ
When you are given something so concrete, you have no choice but to accept it and move on with the help pf medical professionals to do their job; and you do your job by starting and living a healthy lifestyle: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Eat pure, clean fresh foods, exercise, believe in the higher powers destiny for you, spread love abd accept love, do good everyday.
@@gotcha4054 That is correct But not everybody would follow your statement only a handful. One example, I remember a news that a "celebrity" few year back was diagnosed with brain cancer and he quickly when and jump out the Golden Bridge.

Thank you for sharing your story.I’m so glad you got through this in a positive way. Sending love and hugs from Australia ❤
Thrilled for the progress you have seen.
I’m so happy for you, that after so much suffering (physically and emotionally), your stage IV cancer became stage I. I didn’t know that was possible. I wonder whether a lot of pain would’ve been averted had you gotten a second opinion on the advisability of not removing the tumor (or as much of it as possible) right away. Well, hindsight is 20/20. It was sad to see a young woman having to go through such an ordeal, and delightful to hear how well you’re doing. I wish you everything good.
Bless you i🙏🙏🙏

Omg I had so much anxiety listening to what you went through. God bless you and keep you healthy and positive!!!
Lost my dad in law to colon cancer. He too always had digestive issues and a history of piles. It seems many miss the symptoms because they have a history of stomach problems. Too bad he lost a lot of time, even with doctors not suspecting cancer.
Hope she is doing well. These days there are more advancements.
Blessings and prayers!
Praying for everyone 🙏🙏🙏 You are all blessed.
