This is so true.. it is exhausting but when you look back it happens for a reason .
Last Dec i lost a job in layoff n then found out was pregnant with high risk pregnancy.
This dec exactly on the same day I got the job with first application and easy interviews.
So hang in there ..keep applying but know that everything happens for a reason n enjoy this free time.

After having to look for work frequently from going to contract to contract. I realized that "Searching for work" is something that should be taught

Thanks for the video! I like the idea of keeping track of accomplishments and things you got done each day. I tend to feel like I don't get much done when I look back on things, so maybe that would help

Thanks for this video Andy! I really like the idea of documenting my worries. I've been in therapy for awhile, and my therapist would be a fan of this technique. It would help me with the ability to challenge those pesky, intrusive thoughts in real time.

Wow! A worry book? That’s mind blowing🤯! I also like the subconscious message that a small book is for negative thoughts and the larger book is for the positive thoughts and don’t have a chance to counter act each other.

It’s not a gift searching for a job in this economy. Especially when you’re hungry. But thanks for the positivity I guess

Tony, hang in there. It’s not a gift in the happiness sort of way, but as long as you need to go through this, I want you to make sure you get value out of the experience. If you look at it that way, it’s likely you’ll have better luck!

Appreciate the ideas and encouragement (!) you are a gift! I like lists but not as much into journaling -- Headspace app has helped me a great deal in terms of tempering down negative thoughts and anxiety and has helped me be present. The other Andy (HS founder) does a really solid job in approach and during COVID they made the bulk if not all of the series available for free for a year (I think that was the deal) -- which was pretty noble and considerate of the circumstances.

Headspace is a wonderful app. I used to use it but I discovered I really enjoy silence when I focus and meditate!

I have been searching for a job for over 10 months now and It's starting to become unbearable. I have been doing these tips and I'm currently at my all time best physique in addition to being really well mentally. All this is great for sure, but I'm still so worried about money man. Hello from India!!. Helpful video.
    1. Daily journal
    2. Accomplishment journal
    3. Worry journal
Writing does make this seem the best option and it stays with you and is a reminder that you overcame all obstacles👍

#bootcamper - curious about your reminders. I recall you did several videos around managing your energy not your time, and can't quite recall where you talked about your mornings

    • @andylacivita
      @andylacivita  6 месяцев назад +2

I talk about that in my productivity challenge. I have on occasion should some of it publicly, but at the moment none of it is on RUclips. There are a few videos on RUclips about how I plan my day to not run out of energy. I think what you might be looking for is how I schedule my week and my day and make everything time based and deliverable based. That is, I do not use a daily to do list, but a calendar with deliverables coinciding to the timeslots.
