    One account that shares gold! Andy your one amazing and enlightening teacher I’m so grateful I found your platform I’ve learned a lot being that all my previous work history as a young entrepreneur stylist in the midst of a career change that has never experienced a formal interview can be
    a terrifying experience to embark on.

      @andylacivita I wanted to follow up. I didn't get the position because the other candidate had more experience, BUT because of your formula and binge watching your videos of infinite wisdom, i applied the skills I learned from you and blew away the director and Human resources during my interview. Human resources even recommended me to be offered the position! to those who go through the interview process, just know that you have not failed, sometimes the position is not for you in that seaaon, but it can leave a lasting impression to the right people when the time is right. kind of like the story of Joseph in the bible. He became the second in COMMAND of all of Egypt. May this bless you and God give you what's meant for you according to His timing and purpose.

    Hi Andy, I agree with your suggestions but what if the “right story” is from the time I worked at Playboy? I’m sure you’re aware that Playboy is just like any other company except that it focuses on adult entertainment and the interviewer might get offended even though I won’t mention anything inappropriate. Am I over thinking this and should I just tell the story?

    • @andylacivita
      @andylacivita  2 года назад +5

      I’d use it. If an interviewer doesn’t get that, I wouldn’t want to work for that company!

      @@andylacivita Thanks Andy! I’m proud of the experience that I gained at Playboy, and I appreciate to have worked and represent a brand that’s recognized around the world. I just needed to hear from a professional recruiter that it OK to talk that experience when it’s relevant.

    Hi Andrew,
    I hope your doing well.
    For the career change, the LinkedIn headline should be written with the job position that I have now or the one that I am looking for? Doesn’t matter if doesn’t reflect my present job title?
    Also, all the career profile and career highlights narrative should be directed towards the target position?
    Target position is really close to my education but in the last few years I had a slight change, now I would like to go back.
    Thank you so much!
