    Hi Andy! I submitted my initial resume for 3 different internal job postings and was denied by the same recruiter. I used your format and resubmitted my resume for one of the position and got an invite for a candidate screening 2 weeks later. I used your approach to answer the questions and was told he will be reaching out to me with an interview date. Thank you so much for all the content you provide! 🙏🏾

    That was probably THE BEST video of yours that I've watched (and I've seen a lot of them!). I think this is the number one reason I've not gotten the job for any of the 15-20 interviews I've been on in the last four or so years. Super helpful to learn how to translate what I do into the value I bring. Thanks again Andy!

    If I had money, you’d have it 👏🏽. I’m still fuzzy on something, like how to actually wordsmith the bullet points on the resume, but I now am in a better position to apply your practical advice.

    Hi Andrew. Thank you so much for this video. I am one of your students, and I always find it really hard to establish the value I bring to the table in my interviews, (mainly administrative roles) and this has caused me many positions. Now I understand what I should do and how I should do it. Thank you.

    Hi Andy, your videos always provide great value, thank you! You mentioned elevating the discussion with Alex so she could be seen as more senior. Is there a video you could recommend that goes into more detail on this? This has been somewhat of a challenge, both on the CV and in interviews, to relay more seniority (even though I have 14 years of project management experience). I have to say though, this video does help with the problem- being able to show value

    Hey Andy, I found your videos when doing a job search in early 2021, and then got a job as a manager in healthcare. Now, back at another job search. And, wondering if you might share some thoughts on the concept of quiet leadership. Basically, what I "do" and my accomplishments speak more than me tooting my own horn. It's the dilemma of introverts. Not sure if that makes sense, but any thoughts on this appreciated!

    Hi Andy, I am confused about the career highlight section. Do I extract the achievements from the Professional section, or I place them as achievements in the highlights and as a detailed action oriented bullet under the position. With the second option they appear twice in the resume, with the first ATS doesn't pick them up. I think I am missing something here.

    • @andylacivita
      @andylacivita  6 месяцев назад +1

      They are the same ones from your professional experience section. Yes, it’s okay they’re on there twice!

    Hi Andy, I work as a project manager and also helped set up two family restaurants so my question is should I mention it during an interview eventhough it's not related to the position?

    • @andylacivita
      @andylacivita  2 года назад +2

      I would mention it only if it’s applicable to the job!

    When you have a final interview and you been moving up through the interview process and the last interview said you will hear next steps shortly what does that mean SHORTLY mean?

    • @andylacivita
      @andylacivita  2 года назад +3

      Shortly is different for everyone. When someone says something like this to you, ask for clarification. By shortly, you mean...?

    Hi, Andrew. Thank you for sharing your interview tips. I benefited a lot from this chann😢.
    But I have been trying to show my value to stand out among the candidates. Unfortunately, I have been rejected, given feedbacks from hirers and hr that I am over qualified (though i am 50 years old, senior in age). 😢 kindly advise.. why?

    • @andylacivita
      @andylacivita  Год назад +1

      I’m not sure why they say that but I do have an overqualified video on my channel. It’ll help you with the repo we to that!
