Can't believe ive never thought to magnatize the spare bits to a tray, which can be kept in the tank.
Now do I rip everything apart, just to save me carrying all parts loose in a box?? Yes, yes, i will!!
I stopped magnetizing because of all the loose bits like do I just have a whole foam tray for all of em then I thought of this and now I am back to magnetizing
This is spectacular, and it also can very likely be adapted to other vehicles in our motor pool, hell hounds, chimera etc, thanks a million!
I got some interesting advice. If you're on a budget or don't want to put too much time into it, the leman russ has lots of press fit sections that you can just use blue tack on. The sponsons, and demolisher cannon work pretty well for this because they both just slide on in. I saw a several year old example that was in great condition.
This is brilliant! Beats my method of tossing them loose inside the body. Not sure when I'll be building another tank, but going to try this when I do.

Ya the hammer head would make a cool build with like a pull out back piece there is a bit of space in em
Now to make a small connector so that it knows what weapons are connected and can play the appropriate sounds
