For April Fools, let's try something a little absurd... A few people asked me how the story may have changed if Goten trained like Goku, and as you can tell by the thumbnail, things get pretty out of control here. Since it's April Fools, I decided to take this idea very literally and had Goten train EXACTLY like Goku, as well as alongside him.

kinda wish they did so much more with goten , since they weren't using gohan , they should have goten as the next strong competitor instead of being some side character

Fans wanted Goku and Vegeta, no one else :((((. Gohan was supposed to takeover and Goten after him. But the Japanese fans hated that idea and wanted Goku back. So toriyama changed the story
They gotta focus on the rest more vegeta and goku might be the main characters but they rest gotta get some love and will make the anime better too some different

I feel like Goten might have gone off to train with piccolo instead of Gohan. Piccolo is fused with Kami and has the power to back it up, giving Goten the training he might have given Gohan, in turn making him possibly stronger.

This is great video! Goten is one of my favorite characters. Kid Trunks is up there as well. Can you do another What if with Goten and Trunks train with their fathers and Whis and/or they reach their potential? I always thought that Goten and Trunks were like if Goku and Vegeta were friends as kids. A rivalry but still able to fight together. I would love to see Whis train the boys maybe when Goku and Trunks aren't around and Whis and Beerus realize their potential at least better fighters as a team than Goku and Vegeta. Another What if.. What if Gohan kept increasing the Ultimate form and Goten and Trunks find new levels of Super Saiyan. I mean they individually get to SS3 and able to hold it as long as SS1 or 2 and find a new form maybe not god ki but another level whether that is SS4 or something.
