Is it possible that the second half of the video is different that the narration? The video doesn't seem to be illustrating the points described in the audio portion.
DRD_Tutorials thanks for the reply (and the tutorial BTW). It must have been a RUclips glitch. I can see it is working now. For me, about midway through, just as you were describing the controls on the resonator tab, the video reset back to the beginning (I think) while the audio continued normally.
You can actually make some really interesting 808-style sounds with it. They have a more rich and interesting harmonic quality compared to using pure sine waves.
DRD_Tutorials It sounds really flat and muffled, as if you have it really badly overcompressed. I watched your tutorial with headphones last night and had problems understanding you. Just saying... I mean you‘re a sound designer. Tutorial was very helpful though. Collision is a great instrument for creating unusual bass sounds!
I always got lost in Collision, this was the best "kick-off" tutorial for me. thanks a lot!!!
You are an incredible teacher. I'm at the 7 minute mark and it's all so clear. Thank you!
Thanks
Excellent primer for using Collision

Hmmm...doesn't seem to be the case when I click through the video. Can you explain a little more what the issue is?

Ha! Weird. That would be super confusing. (You're welcome)

Question: How did you learn all of this? I can't find any explanations like this in Ableton's documentation.
I’ve been in school studying this stuff and teaching this stuff for a long time now. Along the way I’ve had a lot of help and read a lot of books.
What books did you read for sound design on vsts like Abletons stock ones and serum
the sound at 3:00 is just stunning.

Thanks!

+Ard s thanks!
Super interesting, but what‘s the problem with your microphone? Your voice sounds terrible!

Thanks for the feedback.
It sounds good enough for me
@@DanielRDehaan It sounds like you used noise cancellation, there are artifacts and the quieter parts often disappear too quickly
Thanks!
