Welcome to my Miniature Dollhouse Tutorial channel! I am not a professional dollhouse builder of any sort. I will be figuring it out as I go. Come join me to celebrate all my milestones and laugh at all my learning curves.
In this video, you will meet me & Snickelfritz and I will share my plans and ideas behind building the 12th scale Pride & Prejudice 2005 Bennet House also known in the real world as Groombridge Place in Kent. If you are a Jane Austen fan, I think you will enjoy watching the building of the Bennet home.

I will be Pride and Prejudice 1995 until I die, but I still do like 2005 and look forward to seeing the finished product!
I love history and Jane Austin I subscribed I can't wait to see this unfold
Me too!!! 💜

Heather xoxo
Wow!!!
Happiness!
I was looking for inspiration to make a Regency book nook and I'm so happy I found this!
I am thrilled to help with that inspiration! Please do share your book nook when it is done! That sounds like fun and I love to see what creations others come up with. Happy New Year!!
How exciting!! Looking forward to following along!
I am not worthy! lol! Awesome!
Unlike your kitty appears, I am very impressed! Ha! Soo looking forward to seeing it all come to fruition. 💜
You and me both! Thank you for taking the time to watch! Kitty says "meow."
just joining this journey now!! i absolutely share your love for this movie, and this house. it's so beautiful and I'm excited to see your work
Hello @gayjeris! So excited to have you join us! That house is so special & beautiful!
Heather
In a house of that period and style the floor plan of the upper floor would follow that exactly of the floor below. With the exception of cupboards here and there for storage
This is good to know and actually helps me out tremendously! Thank you!! 🏠
chrisspain6023, I appreciate the feedback! I think I will then follow the downstairs floorplan.
Heather
Oh I cannot wait till the end! The house is so beautiful ❤️
Thank you and yes, Groombridge Place is a beautiful building. I hope to visit it someday.
Can’t wait to see the progression!❤️
Thank you for watching and thank you for being a Patreon Supporter!!!
Heather...this is so cool. You and Boo have done a fantastic job! 🐾🐈🚶🐾
Thank you so much! It is all so fun! Lots of work but lots of fun!
Wow. In contrast to the beautiful cat, I'm really excited. :-) Have fun building.
Maybe with your help I can finally get started :-)
I am so excited that you are excited! It will be so great to see how this turns out. Just start somewhere, there are no mistakes when you are just having fun!
Looking forward to following the progress. It sounds very exciting!
Thank you for watching, started filming again tonight actually! Feeling a bit intimidated by the project but I think that is all part of the process!
Looks like this will be an amazing adventure!
I think so too!
The house appears to be jacobean or Stewart with a Georgian remodel with the windows
So much character!
Heather
Will there be an episode 2?
Oh yes!! I got so busy with lots of baby animals, heat wave & my son visiting from New Orleans. Sept will be the month I get back on the miniature train!
The paint colours and furniture is definitely not all upto date. Old fashioned to show their class status
Yes! That is one of my favorite thing is the astetics and the color of the walls.
They are unusual even odd to a modern eye. But I think them lovely and soothing
Same!!!
The windows are at least 4-4.5 feet wide, so 2.5 is way off. You can also just measure the house on google maps and it shows the house is basically twice the size (75feet wide instead of your 45 feet) of what you guessed.
Hello and Happy New Year swun10! Thank God I am not making a life size house! Can you imagine, we would have to crawl through the doors to get in! LOL!!!! I am totally guessing as I go! We updated our intro with "12th scale (kind of)". Thank you for watching!
