I just stumbled on your channel because the algorithm knows I love Jane Austen and miniatures! I have a future project planned where I make a Georgian doll house based on my interpretation of Darcy House in London. I absolutely love these items you have purchased. I just did a roombox based on the book The Borrowers over on my channel (well, not JUST... I have been in the middle of a big move so it has been a while since I posted.) I feel like making roomboxes, dioramas, dolls houses based on books is such a great way to further explore the worlds we love so much.

I’m new to the dolls house world and am just starting a renovation of a Victorian house with 5 stories and 13 rooms .. thus far it’s dismantled and I’m repairing the basic structure. Thank you so very much for this video, I have Allison Davies saved and I’m so excited to have found such exquisite items to fill my house once the rebuilding stage is finished. I bought the house on a whim for my 2 year old granddaughter and I cannot wait to gift it to her once she is old enough to understand how precious it is.

Great video, trying my hand at making the windows. I am building a NOT screen-accurate Grimmauld Place from the Harry Potter books. Trying to figure out how to make the windows and the Georgian architecture is a learning adventure. The house has windows similar to the Bennet house so I will have to adapt a bit, but this has been very helpful. Thank You. Jenn.

Really enjoying your videos and the making of the Bennet house. This is by far my favorite Jane Austen adaptation from book to film. I love the grime and ruralness in the film, the wardrobe, everything. Your voiceovers are I think something very unique to your videos as you have 2 people talking, which I enjoy. I also loved the pig. lol

I’m so glad the Schleich pig worked out for you. Really love the “salon treatment”, I mean painting job you did on him😊. My husband and I raised a lot of hogs in years past (although none were in the house), and he looks very realistic! The hair extensions look 👍.

I remember seeing this movie in the theater with my aunt and my mom and I was irritated throughout the entire film because it felt so far removed from the book and the BBC production. However my daughter totally agrees with you and prefers this adaptation above any other for being the more relatable and romantic.

Why hate the pig? It just shows rural life in that time.

Fantastic. I am trying to make my first dollhouse (or should I say, an outback shack). I am hoping to replicate the home my mother grew up in. It was built in the twenties and I was wondering how to attempt a sliding vertical window and voila I came upon your site today.
