A few tipps if you start feeling weak after some minutes into the workout: 1. EAT ENOUGH!! Yes, even if you are trying to lose weight!! Your body needs fuel to finish a workout like this! 2. TAKE BREAKS! As a very competitive aries myself, I tend to overdo workouts in the beginning because of the amount of motivation I feel and then after some weeks I always lose interest because it stops being fun and becomes extremely exhausting instead. THAT'S BECAUSE YOUR BODY NEEDS TO RECOVER!!! ALWAYS take a rest day after powering through a workout! And I promise that after that rest day you will come back much stronger and notice improvement a lot faster than without taking rest days! These are just some things I wish someone had told me before I ever started exercising. Quality over quantity! And if you don't finish the workout in one go, that is absolutely fine! This is a matter of self improvement and every time you try again it will be a little easier than the time before. Treat yourself with love and take good care of your body. Have a beautiful day, that's all
Use a weighted rope and you'll really see the difference. I've been jumping rope for about a year now and I love it. Lost the 16lb I was trying to, toned up all over and I'm now eating to maintain. Jumping rope is so much fun - Rush Athletics, Jump Rope Dudes, and Crossrope have some amazing workouts to follow-along if you want more after this.
I’ve been skipping rope for 9 days now and my stomach is flatter and my waist is smaller little changes. I couldn’t go outside today and did this was no rope and I completed without any breaks. Goodluck with your weightloss journey everyone you got tgis

@@madisonholomon18 you can’t reduce fat in one specific area. When you start losing fat you loose it from everywhere, even if some spots are a bit more stubborn than others. So, it should slim you down a bit all over, including your legs.
Iam a teen who has been struggling with weight all my life.Iam lazy in working out and I'm kind of addicted to junk.I saw this video and did challenge myself.First I tried and did avoid sugar I eat normally but just minus foods with sugar.I do 1000 skips daily.Today is day 12 of my skip rope.My results are so noticeable.Im top heavy and am getting proportional.Jump ropes do work.Im a living testimony.I didn't begin the 1000 skips at once.I began with 300 skips and always added 100 daily then maintained at 1000.

I love CHLOE! Any advice on how to jump "better"? I can't go as fast and I keep messing up every 2 seconds. It makes it impossible to complete 5 minutes of workout

Hello everybody! I only wanted to share my personal experience with jump roping, because I wanted to confirm what Holly affirmed: if you do that often you’ll really see results, especially if you’re aiming to lose a few kilograms and to tone your body a bit! I’ve started jump roping two years ago, between July and August I believe; I had already lost some weight but not in a healthy way, so I decided I would take some sweaty activity up (I had already been practising martial arts for 5 years, but the type of training I was looking for was different) and jump roping was what allowed me to get slimmer (of course alongside a different way of eating and, in a more general sense, a different mindset towards food and exercising). I just wanted to tell you all because I remember being always more motivated after reading about someone’s experience and, I don’t know, maybe reading about this can motivate someone else as well! Also, thank you Holly for all the hard work you put into your videos, I’ve started falling in love with them about six months ago and I’m so thankful for what you do, I can really see my body slowly changing thanks to the exercise you show us and, of course, thanks to consistency!
April C I gave up so many times in the beginning and to this day there are still times I do that or I’m too lazy to get something done😂 But I think that challenging yourself and trying to do some little more, even step by step, is already a great result! And I’m sure you can do this!!
Start weight - 61 kgs 19/2 : Day 1 ✅ 21/2 : Day 2 ✅ .. will keep doing this for 15 days & check my weight at the end ! 🤞🏻☺️ Update : I got busy in between & stopped. I have now started again & will post my update 22/3: Day 1 ✅ 23/3: Day 2 ✅ 26/3: Day 3 ✅ 27/3: Day 4 ✅ 28/3: Day 5 ✅ 2/4 : Day 6 ✅ 14/4 : Day 7 ✅
I started this today but I only lasted for 5 minutes. I was out of breath and my body ached. I want to be consistent to do this everyday and last longer.
I was like that at first! I just started on Tuesday and did again today. Well technically I started like two weeks ago but I became lazy last week but now I'm trying to push myself again to jump rope. Just take it slow at first but still challenge yourself and give yourself 1-2 days of rest and keep going so that you won't stress your muscles too much. That way, you will gain endurance, get faster, and you'll be able to jump rope for much longer. I hope thid helps!! I wantch this jump rope channel called "jump rope dudes" and they give really good jump rope workouts and tips. I recommend you to watch them!
Okay, I am going to start this today and I am posting this here to hold myself accountable. I will check in every two days, but I will do it every day. (I'll just edit the post) I am only doing this workout, and I will only be eating 2000 calories a day, and drinking water every three hours. Day one (June 1, 2020): -it was challenging but made it through the whole video, and I'm glad I did! -I was super sweaty, but it felt rewarding at the end -I took lots of breaks but don't let that discourage you, I kept going and so can you -I rate my work today 6/10, but every day I want to improve. I'll Be back on June 3rd! Day three (June 3, 2020): -today I woke up and my calves were extremely sore, kinda sucked, so I did a minor cardio workout out that wasn't from this video -I will reconvene tomorrow though -I did this yesterday, and I took fewer breaks! but it wasn't less challenging -I think I'll get use to being sore and it will get easier after I stick with it -today I do feel lighter, but not much to my body has changed Day six (June 6, 2020): -I forgot to update yesterday, so I'll share my progress for the last 3 days -It never hurts less, but it gets easier to push through and your body adapts and can go longer -I am feeling stronger and more rewarded as I go on - I am seeing some difference, nothing major but some leg and back fat has gone down, as well as a little on my stomach (I don't have a scale at home) -you still get super sweaty, but like I said it feels really rewarding! -I rate my work today an 8/10 -will update when I see improvement from now on Day 10 (June 10, 2020): -I am seeing some improvement and results! -I am getting more toning and definition on my legs, I feel stronger, and fat is melting off (nothing dramatic but if I keep at it, maybe) -I really like this workout, and I think if you are considering it, do it -depending on your weight and how long you do this, you will see results -I think this is a great way to lose weight, I am going to stick with it -I'll fill in when I see anymore changes
Starting weight : 62,9 kg, two weeks goal, without a real jump rope Day 1 : DONE it was hard i couldnt do one set without taking rest Day 2 :Done, i did 1 set and three rounds without stopping and even though i took longer rest than the video they were shorter than yesterday, it felt really much easier Day 3 : DONE, two sets consecutively and three rounds from set three, it makes me so happy to see that each day i make progress
I’ve been doing this video so many times and my stamina has improved so much! I now follow the video for the skipping, restart, then do the skipping and workouts at the end. I’ve also seen a big improvement in the gym as well. I’m not into weighing myself and I go by pictures and I can definitely see a massive difference in my stomach fat and my face! I make sure I do this video on days I don’t go gym!
I’ve been doing 30-40 mins every day for 5 days so far of jump rope w lots of breaks but I’m very happy bc I can already see results and it makes my feel better
I’ve been to the gym for 3 years and always did cardio on the treadmill and hating it but it’s been 3 weeks that I do this workout and I actually think that i finally found a way to like cardio workouts ! thank you !!
I was 145 pound when i started skipping rope 3 days a week and now I’m 143 and i see more change in my shoulders, abs, and thighs Edit: now I’m 142 😌 Edit 2 : I’m 137 right now 😭 even though I’m not very consistent Edit 3 : after a year I’m 126 pound so happy about it, as I said before my shoulders were the most muscles i can see different on them they become more stronger actually i can push up easily now ( i skip 2 days a week now with 5 days of resistance training + eating in maintenance calories )
I just got introduced to jump roping as an exercise three days ago... I found it hard to finish 500 jumps the first day, then the second day it was easy... Today I found this video and I truggled to complete the whole session, but I did it! I will train everyday using this video and I willupdate you guys with the results.. I weight 67 kilos and my hight is 163...my goal is to hit at least 53 kilos.. Let's doooo thissss
this is literally the only jump rope workout that I actually like, i mean, the aesthetics of the video, the edition, idk, something about it makes me stick to it. SO THANK YOU! 💖
One week ago 64kg, goal 58kg 💪 Will be updating each week 😁 Week 1 ✅ 63kg Week2... Caught a cold so I only trained twice a week and I am currently 62.7 kg Week3 62 kg, I trained every other day Week4 didnt train this week got bit lazy but I watched what I eat and therefore I am still at 62 Week5 61,2 been training every other day.. Week 6.. Week 7.. Just wanna say that I reached 59 kg following this, I don't do it much these days as I am busy but will definitely carry on, the best thing is taht I can do it easily now and I can even add few minutes 😍😍
I guess it's that 'ping' sound we hear when we plug in or remove our phone from charging... And that countdown timer sound resembles with that 'ping' of iphones I guess lol
This is absolutely what I needed, simple exercises that are effective! Will be doing it everyday ! Best 20 minutes I’m not very healthy so I produced a lot of sweat and I’m so excited !!
Today is my first day I do 150-200 jumps in a minute and I did 1000 jumps in 10 mins like I took break of 1 min after each 1 mins of jumping. I think I do really fast jumps. Sweating much! Day 1 - ✓1000 in 10 mins Day 2- ✓1200 in 20 mins Day 3-✓ 2000 in 20 Day 4- ✓ 1600 in 20 Day 5- ✓ 2000 in 15mins16 secs Day 6- ✓ 1200 in 15 mins with 15 secs break after every 1 mins. 💪 Day 7- ✓ Day 8- ✓
Omg she is very similar to Chloe Ting. Same hairstyle and that same timer with what’s up next. But that isn’t a bad thing. We appreciate the work u do and seeing a fit body encourages me to keep going!☺️
This workout consists of exactly 8 mins of non-stop rope skipping. I added 2 minutes of my own rope skipping aft the whole video because I found that on average, I burn 100 calories with 10mins of non stop skipping! I guess I burn about 120 calories per video (158cm, 51kg, 100skips/minute)
We did all the jump sets, we being me and my 61 year old Mum. I love your workouts Holly! I'm seeing changes in my body and starting to feel confident again.
I’m gonna start to do this workout (with diet/calorie deficit) and also the jumping jacks workout everyday! Keep me motivated guys! I also heard that jump rope increases height I will be keeping track of that as well! :) DAY 1: ✅
Starting weight: 165 lbs at 5'1. * I've capped my daily calorie intake at 1200 considering the fat I want to lose. This workout is accompanied by 5-minute stretches before-hand a 30 minute walk-run cycle after-hand. This will be my progress with this workout and others as stated above. Now's the time I start feeling comfortable in my own body before it's too late. You can do it too if you're looking for some encouragement. Keep going! Give it a few months and some dedication and you're there. Day 1, 6/28/22: I've managed to complete the workout with a LOT of struggle. Barely made it and had cramps in my abdomen at the 10 minute marker. Had to take a few minutes to recover and with a bit longer of a rest I was able to make it to the end. Day 2: 7/5/22: I did it! This time I accompanied it with Chloe Ting's 2022 Day 1 Weightloss challenge. So far, my journey is looking hopeful. Today, my weight was 162 lbs.
Doing this for 3 days for a month, will keep you updated with the results (no diet) (I first started doing only one and a half set of this workout and gradually adding sets until I’m able to do the full 3 sets ,be gentle on yourself so you don’t get injured ❤️) H:158 W:57 Day 1 :✅ Day 2 :✅ the sweat was real 😮💨 Day 3 :✅ was quite difficult bc the day before I’ve waked for along period so my body was already suffering 😭 but anyway I did it 🫡 Day 4 :✅ Day 5 :✅ Day 6 :✅ Day 7 : Day 8 : Day 9 : Day 10 : Day 11 :

I'm gonna do this two times a day, everyday for 2 weeks and then update it here (so that yall can see my progress and it might help some of you) Current weight: 54.5 kg After a week: After 2 weeks: Day 1:✅ Day 2:✅ ✅ Day 3:✅ ✅ 1.I actually only did it once on day one because I wanted to see how much I could cope with the pace of the video. I took an extra minute between the sets but I managed to do it. 2. Second day I did it once in the morning and once at evening. I do only basic jumps (because that's all I can do). I didnt take any additional breaks at all. 3. Day 3 was actually pretty normal af. Im wondering if I should do something harder because I'm always used to exercise=my body hurting tf all over. 4. Recovery. Even if I didnt feel sore or anything I just felt happy at the idea of a day off

like some in the comments, im going to try to stick with this and come back with my results! (just for the record im really short so seeing my weight you might wonder why do i want to lose any but really i want to get fit/toned, maybe lose a lil in my belly but not much else) *7/22:* 114 lbs, belly/love handles larger than desired, have slightly toned legs, nothing else toned *FIRST WORKOUT:* couldnt do all the jump rope sessions, but did as many as i could without falling over. completed all the other exercises tho. what a workout! i am very out of shape so that was very hard for me, but i will push through ! *7/27:* did the jump rope workout on wed and fri. did the abs workout here on thurs and sun. - ruclips.net/video/I8uqz-hQnZs/видео.html - I HAD to take a break on saturday because i was sore all over. my calves took awhile to recover, and are actually still sore today. :/ i want to push myself and i did by doing it both wed and fri, but i dont want to damage my muscles instead of promoting regrowth. so i still will not be able to jump rope today, but maybe tomorrow. i will do the ab workout again today tho. i am a hermit who sits at their computer all day, and i get virtually no exercise other than stairs (pc is in the attic) so this is a lot for my body! one day it wont be tho (: ill stick with it !!! o ya also im at *112.5* lbs now (: *8/4:* had some personal issues, missed quite a few days in a row (4) of exercise but getting back into it. still think its been beneficial, as im at *110* lbs rn. trying to work harder at it so i can lose more quicker but its okay. ive been doing the ab workout more than the jump rope just because my legs get sore from jump rope and i dont wanna tear my muscles! *8/11:* still struggling with exercising every day. i missed three or four days since last week. but, getting exercise 3-4 days a week is still better than 0 days lol so im still mildly proud of myself. just been really depressed cause of the world and not getting much of anything done... well really i didnt expect to exercise every day so im doin alright haha. havent lost anymore weight tho :/ *8/27:* wow didnt realize it had been so long. dealing with mental illness stuff, but trying to get back into working out. right now its about every two days. trying to get it back to every other day at least! and one day, every day. its a long process for me, but ill keep going !
If anyone is feeling empty, lonely, depressed etc, I want you to know that Jesus loves you, and He is the Only one who can make you feel true love, happiness, joy and peace. We need to repent of our sins and turn to Him and start living for Him and He will be there with you every step of the way.
It's been two years since I have delivered my baby and although I have lost most of the weight, I still have some way to go. I love how simple and effective this work out is and that I can do it from home with my toddler around.

I am on week 2 of this video and do it every other day. I have not noticed any changes in my body yet but feel like it keeps getting easier the more I do it. For week 2 I decided to do the exercises at the end twice in a row. Next week I will add a third repetition and see how that goes!
I love this workout ❤️ Thank you Holly. It’s challenging but really fun, I feel really energised and full of achievement after I do it. I can almost do it all the way through without stopping for extra breath. Enjoying the journey 🙏🏼✨
Hi Holly! I love your workout!! I have been skipping for around 10 days, newbie here :) And it is so much easier to go faster without having to count the skips :p I couldn't skip for 20 sec straight, but I am sure I'll get better at this. Thanks so much!!

I’ve been skipping rope for 9 days now and my stomach is flatter and my waist is smaller little changes. I couldn’t go outside today and did this was no rope and I completed without any breaks. Goodluck with your weightloss journey everyone you got tgis

did you have any meal restrictions?
@@JaycelleTan No. restrictions make me binge and eat the whole fridge, if you want the chocolate bar you should eat it because it won’t effect you. What effects you is eating 5 chocolate bars or 10 cookies. It’s okay to treat yourself because we’re human.
Did you notice your thighs/calfs getting slimmer too? I want to do this workout to slim my belly and legs but idk of it'll slim my legs as well.

Thank u♡
I am motivated very much, thank you!!!!
Thank you😊
April C I gave up so many times in the beginning and to this day there are still times I do that or I’m too lazy to get something done😂
But I think that challenging yourself and trying to do some little more, even step by step, is already a great result! And I’m sure you can do this!!

I stumbled time and time again but we can do this!! It will get easier!
I could’ve wrote this !!
I lasted for a minute... :|
Just think of it as fun you know as kids we all used to love skipping rope
Okay, I am going to start this today and I am posting this here to hold myself accountable. I will check in every two days, but I will do it every day. (I'll just edit the post) I am only doing this workout, and I will only be eating 2000 calories a day, and drinking water every three hours.
Day one (June 1, 2020):
-it was challenging but made it through the whole video, and I'm glad I did!
-I was super sweaty, but it felt rewarding at the end
-I took lots of breaks but don't let that discourage you, I kept going and so can you
-I rate my work today 6/10, but every day I want to improve. I'll Be back on June 3rd!
Day three (June 3, 2020):
-today I woke up and my calves were extremely sore, kinda sucked, so I did a minor cardio workout out that wasn't from this video
-I will reconvene tomorrow though
-I did this yesterday, and I took fewer breaks! but it wasn't less challenging
-I think I'll get use to being sore and it will get easier after I stick with it
-today I do feel lighter, but not much to my body has changed
Day six (June 6, 2020):
-I forgot to update yesterday, so I'll share my progress for the last 3 days
-It never hurts less, but it gets easier to push through and your body adapts and can go longer
-I am feeling stronger and more rewarded as I go on
- I am seeing some difference, nothing major but some leg and back fat has gone down, as well as a little on my stomach (I don't have a scale at home)
-you still get super sweaty, but like I said it feels really rewarding!
-I rate my work today an 8/10
-will update when I see improvement from now on
Day 10 (June 10, 2020):
-I am seeing some improvement and results!
-I am getting more toning and definition on my legs, I feel stronger, and fat is melting off (nothing dramatic but if I keep at it, maybe)
-I really like this workout, and I think if you are considering it, do it
-depending on your weight and how long you do this, you will see results
-I think this is a great way to lose weight, I am going to stick with it
-I'll fill in when I see anymore changes
Yesss keep the updates coming 😚

Day 3 : DONE, two sets consecutively and three rounds from set three, it makes me so happy to see that each day i make progress

I was 145 pound when i started skipping rope 3 days a week and now I’m 143 and i see more change in my shoulders, abs, and thighs
Edit: now I’m 142 😌
Edit 2 : I’m 137 right now 😭 even though I’m not very consistent
Edit 3 : after a year I’m 126 pound so happy about it, as I said before my shoulders were the most muscles i can see different on them they become more stronger actually i can push up easily now

Hi Holly I did this for the 2nd time this week outside in the beautiful morning light. I did much better less mess 😂 thank you so very much!! ❤️
like some in the comments, im going to try to stick with this and come back with my results! (just for the record im really short so seeing my weight you might wonder why do i want to lose any but really i want to get fit/toned, maybe lose a lil in my belly but not much else)
*7/22:* 114 lbs, belly/love handles larger than desired, have slightly toned legs, nothing else toned
*FIRST WORKOUT:* couldnt do all the jump rope sessions, but did as many as i could without falling over. completed all the other exercises tho. what a workout! i am very out of shape so that was very hard for me, but i will push through !
:/ i want to push myself and i did by doing it both wed and fri, but i dont want to damage my muscles instead of promoting regrowth. so i still will not be able to jump rope today, but maybe tomorrow. i will do the ab workout again today tho. i am a hermit who sits at their computer all day, and i get virtually no exercise other than stairs (pc is in the attic) so this is a lot for my body! one day it wont be tho (: ill stick with it !!! o ya also im at *112.5* lbs now (:
*8/4:* had some personal issues, missed quite a few days in a row (4) of exercise but getting back into it. still think its been beneficial, as im at *110* lbs rn. trying to work harder at it so i can lose more quicker but its okay. ive been doing the ab workout more than the jump rope just because my legs get sore from jump rope and i dont wanna tear my muscles!
*8/11:* still struggling with exercising every day. i missed three or four days since last week. but, getting exercise 3-4 days a week is still better than 0 days lol so im still mildly proud of myself. just been really depressed cause of the world and not getting much of anything done... well really i didnt expect to exercise every day so im doin alright haha. havent lost anymore weight tho :/
*8/27:* wow didnt realize it had been so long. dealing with mental illness stuff, but trying to get back into working out. right now its about every two days. trying to get it back to every other day at least! and one day, every day. its a long process for me, but ill keep going !
If anyone is feeling empty, lonely, depressed etc, I want you to know that Jesus loves you, and He is the Only one who can make you feel true love, happiness, joy and peace. We need to repent of our sins and turn to Him and start living for Him and He will be there with you every step of the way.

So I'll be back to update you 💖💖💖
Youre more than welcome 👏🏼
Oh my gosh. I just started jump rope today and this video is blessing!! Feels like you knew!!
Love this ❤️
i have anger issues. when i trip on the rope, i would throw everything near me😌
omg same
If you're tripping its probably because on of your hands is not even n it's coming forward or going backwards so your hands need to be around the waist n even
@@michiko4079 yes i’m doing exactly what you said now and improved a lot
Hahahahha
Did this 2 rounds ‘cause it’s currently my favorite workout
Combining it with some abs exercises I’ve lost 2 cm on my waist in 2 weeks!
I'll do this everyday for 2 weeks and see the result.
Current : 75KG
After 2 weeks : 72KG. My waist 38inch to 35 😚

@@mashajankovic7456 thanks for the reminder 🤭
I love love LOVE!!! This workout! I can feel progress the more I do this in speed and endurance! Can’t wait to continue to see more progress!
You're so welcome!
Just did this workout and it’s def a sweat 😓 breaker. I’ll be adding this in between my weight lifting 🏋️♀️ day.
I am on week 2 of this video and do it every other day. I have not noticed any changes in my body yet but feel like it keeps getting easier the more I do it. For week 2 I decided to do the exercises at the end twice in a row. Next week I will add a third repetition and see how that goes!
Keep it up
Having adverts during the video is a bit mean! Would recommend keeping them just at the beginning and end!
I love this workout ❤️ Thank you Holly. It’s challenging but really fun, I feel really energised and full of achievement after I do it. I can almost do it all the way through without stopping for extra breath. Enjoying the journey 🙏🏼✨
You’re welcome 💕
I haven’t lost weight while jump roping but I have gained muscle mass and my waist and stomach have slimmed down been doing it for about a year now 😆
Weight on the scales doesnt matter, what does, is measurements, photos and how you feel!
Why have I actually enjoyed this workout? 😱 I'm so... doing this every day if I can till i see desired results!
Yesssss good to hear x
Omgggg this workout is soo good and intense better than normal cardio
Hi Holly! I love your workout!! I have been skipping for around 10 days, newbie here :) And it is so much easier to go faster without having to count the skips :p I couldn't skip for 20 sec straight, but I am sure I'll get better at this. Thanks so much!!
Loved this workout. I jump rope regularly any way so it wasn't difficult. Thanks Holly for all you do!🏋🏾♀️💪🏾
You’re welcome, happy you enjoyed it 😚
Can you try and turn the music down a bit for the next videos? It goes from really loud to can barely hear you ^_^ Thanks for uploading. I just got my rope in the mail box today! :)
I've been wanting to do some jump rope workouts 🤔 Thanks Holly!!! 😍
You’re welcome! 👏🏻☺️

It’s my 2nd week today, didn’t checked my weight at first, but been feeling more energized and lighter than usual, lost those belly fats a bit 😅. I never skipped any meals had few snacks too and this worked way better than intermittent fasting for me🥺, thank God this works ♥️
Keep up the good work x
