  • This 15-minute indoor walking routine is perfect to do at home! Lose weight while walking and tone up with my exercises in-between
    --------
Welcome back to my channel guys, and welcome if you are new!
In today's video, we are doing a 15-minute walking routine, combined with toning exercises to sculpt your entire body.
When I started my fitness journey, I had no idea what to do and I turned to walk for results. It really helps burn calories and build up my endurance! So today I wanted to share a simple and easy way for you to walk, indoors, even when the weather is bad!
Remember, walking is a great form of exercise to help burn calories and lean out your legs, and I highly recommend that everyone tries to walk at least 10 minutes a day!
Enjoy the routine and let me know what you thought in the comments below
    Love, Holly x

i'm almost in tears right now...thank you so much for this workout. I loved your advice in the beginning of this video, it gave me so much hope and insight. I can do this easily 2 or 3 times a day and be able to lose weight. I'm a full time working mother of 3. The primary breadwinner for my family and have gained so much weight after my 3rd child. I've been depressed and literally stagnant/unmotivated for over a year now. I don't know why this video inspired me so much, but your kind demeanor and your sincerity really helped me. Thank you Holly.

Hi Holly, just wanted to say you've been a very big part of my weight loss journey which began over a year ago. Happy to say I've lost over 60 pounds so far. I'm only halfway there if that gives you an idea of how poorly I had treated my body at one point. I was once negative and moody and saw health and fitness as a bummer. This video specifically catered to my limited mobility in the beginning. Your positive attitude and gentle and soft approach would keep me coming back, so it became a cornerstone of my routine. I'm happy to say that I can now keep up with every movement, and I even add weights to the walking segments now. I have to thank you with my entire heart for helping me get to where I am. It's led me down a road I never thought possible, and I now see a very bright and open future. Keep doing what you are doing, you're brilliant and beautiful on the outside, and more importantly, within. Namaste.

I believe I can do this exercise... and I will!!!
I’m a 65 yr old female, surviving an extremely painful autoimmune disease of the bladder: Interstitial Cystitis. (IC) or Painful Bladder Disease. (PBD)...My inner gag layer that stops acidic urine from getting to the most sensitive and intimate nerves of the human body is Ulcerated and cracked. Urine is constantly in the bladder. It feels like lemon juice poured on an open wound... 24/7.... no relief.
My Doctor says the pain is equal to Bladder Cancer Stage 4, but much more difficult to treat. I’ve survived this illness and it’s pain for 15+ years. No known cause, no medical community trained in IC, no cure.
Many of the friends I’ve met on Facebook have chosen feather over surviving.
I’m grateful to have found this indoor walking video. Having IC, my brain wakes me up 15-20 x/night, with a sharp knife feeling jabbed into my bladder through my hot, broken urethra, SCREAMING I have to pee urgently. But it’s just my mind, reacting to the Ulcers and cracks in my bladder. Any time I’m sleeping it’s the worst. I wake in tears.
I NEED a low impact exercise daytime I’m exhausted from lack of sleep, my bladder feels like a rake is scraping at the broken lining, causing me to “feel like “ I need to pee up to 60 times in a 24 hr day.
I like this routine as I can stop as needed. I can be inside near a bathroom. I’ve tried walking slowly on a treadmill, but the vibrating sound of the machine causes spasms in my bladder.
Thank You so much for creating this walking routine. I’ve always exercised, taught kindergarten 21 years ... but when I got IC, I just want to curl up in a ball with my ice between my crotch and HOT heat pad on my abdomen nt to live a long 24/7.
I don’t want to live a long life with this illness, but I do want to be able to physically take care of myself until God relieves me from this pain.
I pray I will start slow, no music, just a gentle routine.
I recommend this routine to anyone who survives pain. I know it’s best to walk, and keep my body pain as low as possible.
Blessings to everyone. Stay as healthy as you can. Life can change in a matter of a wink of an eye.
      Thank You for this Video.

@@jrobert6916 That is HORRIBLE and I get so pissed that things like that exist... I wish you all the very best and that med. research can find the cure!! I'll never understand super wealthy people who want to keep all their money when we need so much research done in the world on so many different things... Well, thank goodness for the wealthy people of the world who DO donate, all of the other middle class and poor who donate, and everyone pursuing careers in science, biology, etc to work on these awful things.... So unfair and I wish you all of the hugs, love and comfort of the world! ♥️♥️♥️♥️

@@jollyrancher0703 I lost 22lbs/10kg a few years ago without even exercising, just reducing my calorie intake! Diet is 80%, exercise is 20% of weight loss. Using an app like Lifesum can help track calories (a lot of my calories when I overate and gained weight was stuff I easily overlooked - like portions that were slightly too big!) and the reduction doesn't have to be drastic - mine vary from 1500-1800 a day. Eating less calories also helps you to make more sensible decisions when choosing meal ideas - healthier and more balanced options are more likely to fill you up for longer. Also, doing a workout like this in the morning and evening every day (or even just once, some exercise is better than none) will definitely help!

Day 2&3 were great! Still felt the burn every time I did it. Really make sure your pulling your belly button into your spine like she says throughout the video that’s when you’ll feel your body just working with you! I have a Sweet Sweat band that I wear around my stomach and that helps me a ton but without it was still a great burn! I don’t see crazy results yet but I feel a lot more “toned” especially in my thighs, oh my gosh. My thighs feel like “hard” not as jiggly.

If you don’t like running then this walking video is for you maybe do just 15 mins indoor walking if you don’t like toning but the results might take longer or you could just modify some of her toning exercises to ones you think are more beneficial too you!

It's a perfect blend of walking and toning. Once I memorized it, I can personalize it. I hop, dance, do jumping jacks, or extra toning during the walking parts, etc. I walk when I need a breather. I love it!!! I used to always stuff my face when I was frustrated or stressed. Most of the time now (since finding your channel) I turn to one of your workouts, and I feel so much better! It clears out the negative emotions, makes me feel powerful and worn out at the same time, makes me feel accomplished and happy that I'm doing self care instead self harm and that I'm moving toward better health, both physically and mentally. I think this is great. An instant exercise “buddy”! What we all need.remind us old people to go at our pace with the exercises. I’ve been a runner, exerciser since 19, but I still have to be reminded to stop if it hurts (different from “sore”) and work up to things. You look great. I look great for 68 but am staving off osteoporosis. Thanks for the boost. I’ll be back and tell others.

I’m so glad this video popped into my suggested feed. New subscriber, I need to loose at least 40 lbs first goal. When that’s accomplished, next goal will be 30. Final goal will be 20. That’ll put me at 150. I know it’ll take me 18-24 mo. I want a slow loss so it is permanent. I think I’ll do this 3x a week every other day. In between I will just do the walking on the 4 other days. Thanks for your program. Mo in NJ

I did this around 10 days after bad symptoms of Covid in Spring. The illness was far worse than any flu I've caught in my life, however, recovery was super quick as I did intermittent fasting during the illness, ate as healthy as I could (not perfect as I'm a junk queen) and last but not least, I did Holly's walking exercises. I would walk out in the garden in the sunshine during those 30 sec walks then walk back in to do the 30 sec gentle workout. Perfect! I'm doing it again today as I'm feeling shattered and wanted something gentle and still get a workout.

It prevents me from becoming bored. The other walking activities are the same movements over and over... walk forward, walk backward, side step, side step tap, etc. Maybe a rep of punches will be thrown in for extra excitement. Your indoor walking workout beats the competition by far!!

It's pretty low impact and definitely warmed me up to move onto more intense/targeted exercises.

Thanks for this! I do a set of free weights, followed by walking (twenty to 40 secs), followed by a set of pressups, and rotate it like that.
