Let me know what has been your experience with buying wood Online!
Hardwood where I live (NJ) is expensive and when I buy the 3 species each cutting board will cost me about $55
Novice woodworker and really enjoying your videos and tips. I'll certainly try an Amazon package soon. Thank you.
Anytime 👍🏼
Can you glue these up on the flatter side (laying the wide side down) instead of the way you did?
Yes you can, and you’ll get a flatter/skinnier cutting board
@@AlesEveryday thanks for replying, I'm a novice trying to into it more.
What finish/oil/conditioning did you use?
Mineral oil works great for cutting boards!
Man thanks for the video but I sure would have liked to have seen how you made the groove in the wood.
Used a guide to hold it straight, and hand slid the router on to it. Very scary, but you have to commit to it
Also use some stoppers to know when it should stop. Set up a rig to do all sides at once
If I were to get those species cut to that size at a lumber yard around here (Northern NJ) it would cost me a fortune. Might be cheaper for me to take my chances and order from Amazon.

Thanks for ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the links and tip's and info I Clicked the like and Click the Subscribe buttons.
Thank you!
Whoa, you put a bow in that glue up ,, dope
Maybe watch the video again. The walnut with the bow is left out and is clearly visible next to the glue bottle the entire glue up.
