    Hmmm, CC is actually much cooler than CN. Are you mixing up the names?

    Interesting comparison! I prefer Classic chrome almost always except for skin tone (classic neg seems more pleasant to me). But reality is that I always shoot Provia for more standard look and then I look for other film simulations in post.

      I actually quite like the skin color more with Classic Chrome, than with Provia. The Classic Chrome makes the skin color more of a "brownish" tint, rather than something like "pale-white-violet-purple-red" tint. But, I'm still learning Fujifilm,...

      Classic Chrome settings I use - Color: +2, Color Chrome Effect: Weak, Color Chrome Blue: Off, WB: Auto, WB Shift: +2 Red, -2 Blue, Shadow: -0.5, Highlight: -0.5.

    Classic neg, and a 1/8 black pro mist filter is my favorite look. I'll sacrifice a bit of contrast for that look any day 😍

      Haha! Yessss I need to get out and try that combo!
      Classic negative is so good. But they all are really, it was really interesting testing them both out 😁

      Just posted a new video with the cinebloom filter on an evenings walk. Definitely a brilliant way to.use the camera 😁

    I have to agree with you. I like the look on the negative. That would just fit closer to how I edit.
    Love that skyline shot you got as-well.

    • @GingerPhotographyGuy
      @GingerPhotographyGuy  2 года назад

      Agreed!
      It's actually weird how close that is to my editing style 😅

    I prefer the classic negative coz it has a lil bit of lifted shadows, kinda faded curve look, making it not too dim and the skin color is better

    The Classic Negative is so much warmer than the Chrom (Look at the clouds!)

    How come to me all the Classic Neg photos look warmer than every Classic Chrome one when you said exactly the opposite :D

    These were excellent, I did prefer classic chrome though. Were these images edited, or were they straight out of camera?

    • @GingerPhotographyGuy

      These are straight out of the camera.
      It's really interesting seeing what different people like more!
      What do you like about the Classic Chrome?

      @@GingerPhotographyGuy I did like the color a bit more, it is impressive (to me) how great these images are without editing. I have an X-T4 on my wish list.

    I use Acros if any but want to add some others to try them out

      @@GingerPhotographyGuy I’ve seen some, wrote them down, Kodak ektar, eterna etc but in their own style so slightly different than the Fuji ones. Get on Fuji X Weekly for a pile of new ones

    Do you shoot directly in jpg or choose the simulation after, during raw processing?

    • @GingerPhotographyGuy
      @GingerPhotographyGuy  Год назад

      For this video I shot directly in jpg.
      Sometimes I will choose a simulation in processing, but 99% of the time I will be shooting in jpg

      Check out Fuji X Weekly. I found one for my X100F, you might be able to experiment with that one on yourXE2.
