Bit of both, Jags made too many mistakes that kept themselves out of the game but LJ still balled out.
Jags got a good team. They made us play harder than we like to. Score looks lopsided because of bad luck and rookie mistakes.
Jags can't put points on the board. Always manage to find a way not to score.

Lamar is fantastic. I feel sorry for defenses that have to contain THAT...When he plays like he did today, he's probably the player I've had the most sheer fun watching over the years (Bret Favre's first 10 years was my previous benchmark; Fran Tarkenton running around the field like his hair on fire was a hoot even before that).
But this is one of the best athletes I've seen in any sport...the vision, awareness, resourcefulness, strength, flexibility, intelligence (his progression in his sophomore year proved to me how coachableand adaptable this young man is). It's an absolute joy to watch him when he's hitting on all cylinders.

The Ravens are a dangerous team. I thought Jacksonville did quite a few things that were really dumb. Jacksonville could have at least made this a close game had they not screwed up so much. This was one of the games I thought would be a better match up than it was. While it wasn't a blowout, it also wasn't close.

T Law played with incredible courage in the face of a suffocating Baltimore defense but I have to take my hat off to Lamar Jackson. The Jacksonville D-line played a fantastic game. They broke Baltimore's O-Line so many times but Lamar managed to find ways to complete stupid passes to get out of trouble. Baltimore is going deep in the playoffs this year; probably to the conference championship.
This is a true definition of 'extending the play'.
The 2019 team was incredible. They shocked the league, and nobody saw it coming but inexperience cost them. This team. This team is different. Just like 2019, they are mauling elite teams but this time everyone knows what they are and still can’t stop it. They embraced their identity as bullies and Jackson’s arm talent had only continued to grow. I can’t wait til January. This may be the most complete ravens team I’ve ever seen. They just don’t have a weakness.

Despite the one interception this was an MVP performance by LJ. He has got to be the smoothest operator in the NFL. But Ravens dominate almost every NFC team they play. In fact, with Lamar their record against NFC teams is 19 and 1. What is really amazing though is that the Ravens are the best in the NFL even without their two star running backs Dobbins and Mitchell and their #1 receiver Mark Andrews... and it's all because MVP Jackson is at the helm.

Game felt a lot closer than the score makes it look, GGs Jags. Also I’m sorry, that was totally a touchdown. Ravens would likely still have won but the refs rubbed some salt in the wound with that one.
Ravens fan as well. Definitely a TD. While I'm glad we won, those kind of things kinda cheapen it even though they still needed a 2 pth conversion and another score plus 2 pt conversion. We have definitely seen the Ravens lose games like that though.

As a very casual football viewer, how do the Jacksonville fans feel about Lawrence? I dont want to talk bad about the guy, but from what ive seen he seems to miss some pretty automatic throws he shouldn't. This game is a bad example because he made some terrible decisions, but even at his best it seems like he misses some relatively easy plays. (Wide open ~10-15yard throws) Obviously the guy is great in other areas, his scrambles are amazing, but seems somewhat unreliable. Just curious what the more educated people think about him, maybe ive just focused on the bad.
I've personally been a big trevor fan since clemson, but he's definitely had issues. Trevors first year was awful because of the terrible roster and awful coaching. Last year, he showed flashes. This year same, big plays but also mistakes. Hes young and need a better oline, receivers who dont drop balls that hit them in the hands, and to get healthy. Trevors had injuries all season. But I can say from being in several jags groups on social media, a lot of fans think hes overrated.
Watching these highlights he does not look good at all. When he ran the ball on 3rd and 17 he fumbled the ball on his own, no one had even touched him. He was running with the ball in one hand then when he got near Ravens players he tried to bring it into his body with two hands and just dropped it on his own
Disappointed. Very disappointed but honestly we should have expected this. Mediocrity is all we ever get.

Seems he's regressed a bit. By now he should be ready to shine. But way too many mistakes.
I honestly had high hopes for him. BUT who knows....many he'll get in a roll and prove us all wrong. I hope so because I really like him.
With the AFC north being this good, It’s crazy that every team may finish with a winning record AND make the playoffs. If cincy doesn’t make the playoffs, I would rather baltimore make it to the dance and win than KC or San fran.

Trevor Lawrence doesn't take the easy checkdowns. Great to have your eyes down the field, but it's costing them drives. Lamar gets away with that more because he's so fast he gets more time to throw.
