  • My boiler constantly locks out and won't work after pressing the reset switch. This happens intermittently but is becoming more frequent.

Yes. Apparently they made 2 versions of the ignition board, the original one was made by Honeywell and is notoriously unreliable. We had our broken Honeywell board changed for the newer version at a cost of £194.

I have found the ignition pcb (BI1305101) for £60 in-store and my technician is asking £180 for the part and £70 for his time, which is only gonna be 10min to change the board.

Those pressure gauges are well known for sticking. Increase the water pressure and see if the gauge moves.

If it was an early model the ignition board is notorious for failing, that was the problem with mine. I had it replaced by a local Biasi endorsed engineer.

+Ian Chivers Yes I had one that blew the pcb after 18 months. A common problem, those circuit boards were made in Italy by berteli & partners.

I have this Biasi model and its totally useless - central heating is hot but the water comes our the taps and shower cold, good central heating but terrible for getting HOT water, Biasi, 0 points out of 10

+George Windsor First of all clean the filter in the brass housing. If that doesn't help then take off the dhw heat exchanger and give it a good clean.
