I have a 14 pro max but the cellphone plans here have a trade in value thing attached to them or they charge you to keep your phone so I am thinking it’s probably worth upgrading instead.

My most used tech is the iPhone . I need as much battery life as I can get for my daily use like eg, listening to music through my in ear monitors and portable dac , listening to music through my desktop amplifiers, playing games , watching videos and RUclips and especially doing up some content with the iPhone .
So true! Once you see it, you simply cannot unsee it. I advise anyone that's not ready to upgrade their phone to get nothing with 120 HZ it's painful 😖

I went from a 12 pro to a 15 pro max yesterday, i saw the 16 PM, but the 15 was like 400 bucks cheaper because i got a discount on it (the new iphone 16 PM is around 1700 usd here, since we have a very high tax rate.)

Going from 15 pro to 16 pro max. Am heavily invested in the apple eco, and always upgrade to new iPhone each year. Always go pro max but decided on a smaller phone last year just to try. Phones and tech are my interest so happy to buy each year even if the upgrade is (in most cases with apple) very incremental.
I have an iPhone 8 Plus, owned it for four years and it’s still at a decent 73% battery health. I’m upgrading to a 15 which I know will be a massive upgrade from where I’m at now. If you like the camera and action buttons then the 16 would work better for you but if you’re more traditional with the mute button, the 15 would be better. There’s still a lot of traditionalist in me and that’s part of why I’m going for the 15 instead plus I really don’t care about getting the latest iPhone. I’ll have to get used to as is the home button being gone alongside the different charging port and bigger screen from 5.5” to 6.1”
Just got a 15+ from a Samsung S22. All I absolutely needed was USB-C. I refused to have lightning sub for Magic Mouse which I thankfully only charge once a month.

Ive been using the 13 pro since its release and always loved it. Unfortunately while cleaning I've damaged the main microphone. Also the battery life substantially decreased. Those 2 factors aside, the 13 pro, still in end of 24` would again be a great choice. Ive ordered the 16 pro. Why? I don't like buying "old" tech. And I want the ProMotion. So yea. Pretty sorry for giving away a perfect phone such as the 13 pro.

Went from a Galaxy S22 to Iphone 16 pro. I love the battery life. I liekd the openess of Android but the cameras and the texting between iphone and Android just isn't that great on Android. Dex is cool but I don't use it a lot. the iphone 16 pro has great battery life and cameras. It's nice to hold in the hands but after a few days you've explored everything you can in the phone and it just becomes a tool and edc than a gadget/mini computer that Androids feel like.
Still rocking the 13 Pro Max and not upgrading. Mainly due to not having the budget to upgrade but there's no motivation to upgrade either. At best I'd upgrade to a 15 pro.

iPhone 15 Pro Max is the best buy.. USB C, dynamic island. No much difference with iPhone 16 PM other than side camera button and AI (which is not existence as of the time of this video). I’m not one to buy a product based on promises or flashy demos-it’s all about the actual performance for me. I have a feeling Apple is still testing their AI and probably won’t fully roll it out with the iPhone 16. I’ll let them experiment with that one and hope by the time the iPhone 17 or 18 comes out, the AI will be polished without the usual overheating or battery drain issues!
Get one whilst you can! Good old apple for not selling the 'Pro' version of last years phone to kinda force you to get this generation. I think stocks will go fast elsewhere now

Went from a OnePlus 12 to a 16 Pro. I’ve been itching to get back to iOS and also back to a smaller phone that still gets me all the pro features. Android just ain’t it for me 😅
Coming from IPhone 12 & will probably go for a 128 or 256gb 15 refurbished as while I want a 16 for AI I struggle to justify that much for a non-120hz screen and 128gb of storage

Is it just me or is it strange apple discontinues the pros when the latest ones drop but still sell the regular versions from previous years. Also Pete the usb c 3.0 speeds don’t work with the supplied cable in the box which is very apple 😂

I'd be trading in my base 15 and only pay like $300 for the 15 pro which I can keep for the next 3-4 years easily. Would that justify an upgrade(the pro-motion) ?
I went to Samsung. S23 Ultra is peak phone, like the Note 9s younger cousin mogging the family, friends and rivals. I know it's not relevant but I'm tired of Apple's greed. 120HZ on the iPhone 16 and I woulda got it because the phone design is gorgeous but no they have to be the bigger of the two evils.

in 2024 you need to go for a Type C phone. Getting anything with a lightning port is just dumb.

Yes - also the 15 Pro has 8gb ram and compatible with future AI updates. Plus that blue titanium colour 🙌 (yes I love my phone)
