Anyways, you've sent me some projects and im gonna un-suck them.
Guys also I've replaced my vacuum cleaner with your songs - it sems to suck much better now, thanks!
The next episode will be for FL Studio users, but don't think I will be happy to make one. Also sidechain that subscribe and like button and buy my packs so I can afford FL.

*Me:* Ahh, this day was terrible, but at least, Peter uploaded a new video.
*Peter:* _Have you ever been wondering why your songs suck?_

How to fix any track 101:
1: add OTT
2: Done
ott EVERYTHING
@@aryamik9722 i always make sure to apply some OTT onto my morning cereal, makes it more tasty
Is this an Eliminate reference!?..
@@clockworkheart no it's the truth of life
@Geovanne Washington yess xD
Did you choose the messiest possible track? This was wild
to show more fixing of course
But the composition is amazing
@@ugonormal9438 agreed
@@ugonormal9438 arent those loops?
Car Commercial song type track.
The title: "Fixing your tracks"
Guy: mashes up all of his songs in one project and sends them to get fixed as a single track.
Track: Get's picked O.o
Looool so accurate
By far my favorite RUclipsr, I have learned a lot from you, thanks man!🤘
Glad to hear that!
props to the guy who made the track , i totally understood what you were going for , amazing taste my dude!
I'd love to see more mixing videos ! the full version would be great.
Banger video as always 👌👌
Bruh, i can't wait too see you using FL Studio
😭 Help me
>:D
Peter parker: Yeah, Big change
M glad you did this video and i am also waiting for your mixing video.
Ur Ableton tutorials help me so much!! ty for that! ...also i would love to see u explain what ableton stock plugins and features u use in most of ur tracks.
super disagree with his assertion that you have to put your beat changes on 8-bar intervals. building all your tracks on a formula like that is how you end up with bland predictable music (tho the 8-bar rule is a pretty good guideline for general use, just like how songwriters use "the four chords" or the rule of thirds for photographers)
Just listen to the track and try to feel when you think a change needs to happen. Finding the perfect spot for a new section can take several tries and sometimes a couple days of setting it down and coming back with fresh ears, and sometimes deliberately making a switch after an odd number of bars is what the track calls for.
this is absolutely right
I bet that Nihar has not watched this video now :)
Great video as always and that intro tho :D
Insterad of CTRL + SHIFT + BACKSPACE, you can replace backspace with delete to make it easier to remember. Both will work. Same goes for duplicating too btw, just do ctrl + shift + D
Nice video that helps a lot👍👍
the intro reminds me of Getter - Something New
I rly don't understand people, it seems that research is not what it used to be. How can u not know about 8 bar build up etc.? It's a waste of time imo.. But gladly we have u explain those fools things they could have learned themselves just by rly watching your videos from before, stay safe and healthy.
I would like to scpecify that the 8 bar thing exist cause this is in a 4/4 music format. That is why if we want to add or change something, we have to wait for a number of bar that is divisible by 4
if you listen to progrock, classical music or bebop or even blues its actually not the case. 8 and 16 bar loops are just the easiest solution so everyone is stuck in 1these loops
@@googlekopfkind yeah... well it makes a song more approachable - defined by pop music...
also, can you take projects from studio one 5? I could make some stems, midi files and presets to port over, just wondering if that was a possibility
All the other kids... With the pumped up kicks... Better run, better run...
Great stuff
I really like the track, very unique. Also liked how you rearranged it but I think it quite to not always everything on grid and sometimes have the drums come a bit late
You like the track before all the changes? ...How?
Oh my god, that first one! I didn't expect the songs to actually sound like... that. I sorta just assumed they'd be amazing, but just needs some work according to your standards.
I actually found the original non-standard arrangement to be way more interesting
it's just chaotic
@@ClementBaudoin I guess I'm into chaos, then 😅
@@xrenynthemusicmage6422 do you make music since when ?
@@ClementBaudoin Idunno, I guess I really got into it 6 years ago, but I've experimented with composing music a few years before then a bit as well.
Though it's always been just a hobby, and one that I've almost completely neglected for the last couple of years. There's just always more important things to do (*sigh*)
@@xrenynthemusicmage6422 and with all the expérience you have you find that dude arrangement more interesting ?
beginning to start 😂💀🖤
Hey Peter, if you mix on the go, would you export it to stems for the final mixing session, while disabling all EQs, reverbs, etc.? Or do it some other way? I see many people just mixing roughly as they go, but then, for the final mixing session, they just export "bare" stems with no effects and start mixing from scratch. How do you approach it?
I think it's a complete waste of time. You mix on the go for a reason, not to disable all processing at the end + exporting stems for a mixing session is also not convinient at all - you can't tweak post processing of each track (which is very important), so you can't fix stuff cause it's not accessible through stems. While mixing on the go after you're done with the track just do some final touches, mastering and that's it.
Good questions 👌 :)
I did this technique few times , then i realise that every time i do this i fell apart from what i wanted to make . It just waste of time for me atleast 🙄
I think you may have been confused by seeing someone working on a drastically different genre/musical application/etc. - like, for example: "Creating a track from Start-to-Finish as an *(4-piece) Indie Psychedlic-Grunge-Rock Band* ...something like that, which utilizes a significant portion of instruments performed and recorded live for example, that is going to perhaps benefit from mix-downs/track stemming techniques, whereas music which is primarily Electronic based simply should not be approached the same way like everyone is saying, because it flat out doesn't work and isn't constructive. It's easy to get caught up watching videos on RUclips (I know from experience haha) which seem like good advice, but in reality it may be good advice, just not applicable to what you are doing exactly. So, if you want to make Future Bass, Techno, chill-hop, Dubstep, or Drum-n-Bass for instance, then yeah Oversampled has got your back my dude forsure! Just listen to him and don't worry about some world-class Mix Engineers, with giant recording consoles going into all this detail about proper mic placement and how double-tracking guitars is necessary to know. He may be 100% correct about ALL of that, AND MORE EVEN - but it's not what you need to be concerning yourself with, you just got on the wrong channel by accident and now your lawnmower is filled with Gatorade and you've caused an electrical fire when you simply clicked past the Cooking channel on accident - that's all. No biggie yo! You got this dawg 😉😎😂😁💯✌🏼
@@Oversampled i agree. People ask how I complete tracks so fast its because I mix on the go. Then I go and check the mix in the car and make the necessary tweaks
@@sapthputraas then you didn't do this.... all you are doing is combining steps instead of doing a mix at the end. that shouldn't make your tracks "fall apart"
12:40 best tip. Many EDM begginer producer don't notice.
I personally always mix as I go. I find it odd to just don’t mix what you are working on along
Sound's like HILL CLIMB RACING music 🎶
Would love a mixing video of this track! 🎧

What about logic pro
Wait, it's not normal to add 10 kicks?
you didn't need to destroy us like that

So in your old old videos the fl studio was... Oh God. BUSTED
Are you from Poland or what? :D I can see Polish when you are scrolling your mail :D
Making everything 8 or 16 bars long just make it feel generic, same as everyone else, imo 10 bars is ok as long as they are even numbers
Lol most of the songs are 8/16 bars and they don't sound generic at all. DJs won't even play other amount of bars, it kicks you out of the rhythm. Might work in more experimental music and in other genres than EDM for sure, but what most people listen to is 8/16. I bet your favorite songs are in that timing :)
Oversampled maybe lol because the track ur fixing idk what genre it is? Doesn't it feel experimental?
Oversampled Nice that you actually reply
Yes fl studio pls ! If you ´re ok with it
wait why you have Mega and Google drive in polish? at least then
Learning it
Start to finish course please upload edm like
My track is a piano track but when i cut low end of chord section, i felt like it lost energy
Maybe you're cutting too much?
If the piano is the only element you don't need to cut it
Cutting low end in tracks like that is like cutting the sub bass
if the piano is your only source of low end in the mix, then you should be fine without cutting it. he meant that if different sounds contain a lot of low end, you should cut to avoid clashing and to make space for the bass or the actual low end sounds
you cut the fundamental root note that's what happens.use a visual eq to avoid this so you can see the root note and everything ahead of it. probably should use a filter shelf instead of cutting if you need to to preserve the sound
I hav watched the whole video. Where are the 10 kicks maan
Yeahhh FL ganggggg
can you fix my height next?
Ppl have an obsession with layering things
Mix it!

When u first play the beat I kind of get a Gorillaz type vibe to it
Hi Peter, 2 quick questions: for upcoming "fixing your track" videos, would you accept to fix logic projects? If not, is it fine to send wav stems? Thanks mate, love the content :)

Soooo the basic lesson here is : if your track is trash, don't try to fix it, it won't work. Just delete and make a better one.
Hell yeah lol

LISTEN TO MY TRACK, WANT YOUR OPENION
I'm pretty sure that you would learn from my organization etc when I send a project file😂😂
All my mates like Sybranax etc call me the nerdiest of them all, I have like a full on structured init file with basic mixing on it with vocal channel, chord, lead, bass, arp, pad, etc channeled 😂
Drumbus, sidechain, all comes together, just like the infinity gauntlet
ok
I was your 10th thousand viewer. Give me fl studio pls
I thought it sounded better before it got fixed, the pacing was better, had more impact as elements were introduced, the fixed version seems very bland. Rules about how many bars, seems arbitrary and rules in general about music.. just create stagnation of emotional content where, it had lots of feeling originally and now, no feeling whatsoever.. dramatically less impact, like.. no impact, in the fixed version
Noooo, don’t you go to FL!!!! Don’t you do it!
FL’s pretty neat there’s nothing wrong with either daws
Heeeeeelp
Nice song and a moderate mix but terrible arrangement but you fixed it........ For a moment i thought he purposely did it lmao.... Joke
kinda liked the arrangement before. i don't see how padronizing everything is of any good but go ahead.
