    Hello I am a 19yo male who is 180cm tall and a few months ago I weigh 103kg, now I weigh 84kg. Obviously a big difference but I am not there where I want to be, I still can't wear a t-shirt with confidence.. So now I am cutting calories and doing push ups everyday, yesterday I weigh 85kg, today 84kg.. I want to ask if what I am doing is healthy (I don't feel bad, have headache or something and I don't suffer) I eat 2 meals a day, breakfast : 4 egg whites with 1 banana, dinner 1 plate of soup. I basically eat under 500kcal a day.

    Hey Frank, thanks for the great video! Question - I notice you're training on (virtually) an empty stomach... is that something you'd suggest the average person work up to? In other words, do you find the more days you fast, the more your body adapts to running on little fuel? Hope that makes sense. Thanks man

    • @ethanpowers8487
      @ethanpowers8487 2 года назад +1

      Food is available for energy after it's fully digested, not while it's digesting So working out fasted is actually better. The energy is readily available at that point. The only time working with food in the stomach is beneficial to the current workout is if it's readily available from quick digesting food or liquid, hence why he sips BCAA's. Hope this helps.

    Im confused because the shake was 32 grms of protein and the toast was 8 and the dinner was 90 grams. That's only 110? Did I miss a meal somewhere? I am trying to only eat 1500 cal or less a day to lose weight and around 80-90 grms of protein. Can I still build muscle with that amount of protein? Thank you!

    According to online sources Frank Medrano is over the age of 60 now, Not sure how true that is because he looks super young... would need his confirmation on that
    His Daily Meal here I think is less than his listed 2700 calories...
    1:13 -Doesn't eat till afternoon, so spends most of day fasting
    1:40 - he does take supplements and protein
    2:34 - 2,700 calories a day (during maintenance mode, and when he cuts he keeps it at 2700 cals a day, and just does more exercise... )
    4:03 - Does a small walk to help muscle recover
    5:15 - Minimalist (online sources say his net-worth is in the millions now... so I would say minimalist simple life though he has the money now)
    6:15 - After 1pm = Brunch = about 900 to 1000 calories
    Avocado and Toast (maybe 300 calories cause Saw two servings in the video)
    About a 600 cal Smoothie that has protein powder in it and spoon full of Peanut butter etc
    Frozen berries and 1 frozen banana etc
    So his first Meal,
    Prolly like almost 1,000 calories all together for his brunch
    9:30 - 1,400 calorie/90 grams of protein meal Dinner Meal (his biggest meal of the day) Lentil Soup, Grilled Veggies, Couscous, and fried up Tofu
    This meal plus the lunch he had has TONS of carbs (so he is NOT low carb, he is a HIGH carb Vegan)
    hmmm... to get up to 1400 cals,
    400 calories from rice (1 cup of couscous is like 200 cals... looks like about 2 cups in that dish)
    Tofu maybe 100 cals
    Veggies... meh... not so much cal
    So this dinner unless he is having a drink or not sure if he added the chocolate bar with that...
    not sure how thats a 1400 cal dinner
    11:27 450 cal chocolate bar lol
    Overall, seems really simple meal plan
    Gets the carbs, the Protein, enough fat... Some Plant based grilled veggies...
    Seems pretty healthy
    However I think the calories is less than he listed... hard to believe those meals is altogether 2700 cals...

    • @HelloiamVega
      @HelloiamVega Год назад

      It doesn't boost estrogen. Actually dairy products and animal products boost estrogen levels as it is actual mammalian estrogen. Soy contains phytoestrogens which have no impact on your estrogen levels. Actually the phytoestrogens in soy are also protective against certain cancers where as the mammalian estrogen can contribute to cancer.

    The fitness world has soooo much information. I’ve been trying to understand it for quite some time but everyone has different views.
    He’s clearly in a maintenance mode now at 2300 cals? He’d have to be upwards of 3000 to be putting on more muscle? Thanks for any help.
