CONCEPT & DIRECTION BY RIANNE WHITE
Having teamed up with rapidly rising star director Rianne White for the lead track 'Angry Cyclist and then 'Streets of Edinburgh’ videos, Craig and Charlie Reid are thrilled to have Rianne on board again with her latest visual creation.
For the 'Then It Comes To Me' video, Rianne shot entirely on iPhone and enters the imaginary World of our star, 10-year-old Curtis Burnett, transporting him from a cardboard castle in his Edinburgh back garden to the Perthshire settings of Loch Benachally, the Baronial estate of Blackcraig Castle and The Enchanted Forest, Faskally Wood, Pitlochry. We follow his adventures, interacting with the landscapes and the incredible Bribiba Irish Wolfhounds along with a magnificent Hyacinth Macaw parrot, 'Buster'.
Rianne commented - "Then It Comes To Me is an adventure following a young boys imagination, inspired by the kingdom he creates within his back garden. I wanted to experiment with the idea of taking loved toy companions into a world where they become real, infused with a Scottish landscape and beasts of the wild. It has been an incredible project to work with a skeleton crew of treasured individuals to bring this to life. There are no limits to the imagination, forever Scottish, forever Proclaimers!"

As someone who rides a bicycle to work, a can empathize with the title of this song! I wouldn't be half as agry if people would put their damn "smartphones " in their pockets long enough to DRIVE! What's more important. .. Someone's life or "LOL, TE HEE HEE, and OMG!"?

As a french christian I've received the Mercy of Christ. Welcomes foreign, do not judge people, give them a smile and a warm presence of light and a honest presence.There are severals forms facism in Europe. Even from some people manipulated, the hate of the spirituality. Scotland that I like a lot and not so spoiled, remind Jesus Christ keep you in his warm mercy whatever you're living now. Human being can be moquers, naughty in his fear but bring them the light and keep your stabilty wealthy. In another way, Scottish people, keep your qualities and your tradition of living and identity. Identity of a People is not a insult... I like a lot your Streets of Endinburgh song and your way of singing.

It’s more fun to talk about the Proclaimers and their music....I admire their strength and ability to present their political beliefs in such poetry. I am saddened that they have not returned to the US, heard rumors that they are not planning to return. Their music touches so many emotions and inspires movement.....I start every day with “You Built Me Up”! The guy I was dating broke up with me when he heard “Be With Me”....😂....I’ve only ever seen the Proclaimers live once and he swears that song is about me...😂🤣😂....too funny, so sad....he’s gone!

I don't get it. Cyclists are peaceful people. It's motorists who becaome brainwashed feral baboons the minute they step into their little toxic, nature-killing steel boxes-on-wheels, and I mean that in the most gentle and loving way.

As someone who has watched, listened and loved The Proclaimers since they started their musical journey, I find this video, Angry Cyclist, to be utterly demented and disturbing. I can’t even watch the entire video. As the brothers have ramped up their social messages via their songs through the years, it’s always been thought provoking. But for me, this is a bridge too far. I never would have expected this and certainly wish that they hadn’t gone this route. They could still have made a social statement with a compelling video, but this is awful. Next time guys, please consult with me first. I have your best interests at heart. Thank you.
The video is indeed disturbing. But how do you feel about the song itself and it's meaning?

If you don’t get the message and warning in this song, then I struggle to see how you have ever really got The Proclaimers.

I think that there are enough pop musicians with jingles, and easy to digest meaningless songs. I love this sound, and the lyrics really speak to some, like me!
They still do produce amazing work,and are still brilliant live,long live the Proclaimers
