- Plot:
Rango returns to Dirt and challenges Jake to a duel, a diversion to allow the yuccas to restore the town's water and allow Rango to make his resolve clear to Jake. However, John and his men force Rango to surrender by threatening Beans' life before attempting to drown the duo inside the bank's vault. John then tries to shoot Jake with Rango's gun - believing that both he and Rango represent too much of the old traditions - but finds Rango has taken its only bullet, which he uses to shatter the vault's glass door, freeing himself and Beans. Impressed, Jake salutes Rango for proving his heroism before carrying John off into the desert to kill him. The citizens of Dirt celebrate the return of their water supply, and Rango, now a true hero.

Rattlesnake Jake is such an underrated villain
Hes not even a villain to rango. Hes a villain to other sheriffs but he respects anyone who puts a fight with him. And he "tipped hisnhat" to Rango after Rango used "1 bullet" to save the town

I could not agree more.
I love how little they cared about making this movie "good". They knew it was campy and ridiculous, so they leaned into it and relished it until the audience gets swept up in the spectacle and can suspend their disbelief for anything.
My personal favorite detail is the bats catching fire and crashing like airplanes when shot. Does it make any sense? No, absolutely not under any circumstances. Is it funny and suitably dramatic? Yep, and it works.

I don’t give a damn what nobody says this is best Nickelodeon movie in my opinion. This feels like the Avatar show that the project is so good that it’s hard to consider it a Nickelodeon project. This movie is a masterpiece.
