    It's the number plate holder. These Stellantis cars don't work well when something covers the upper edge of the radar cone. Had to take off the holder on my Corsa as well, fixed those random errors.

    Good test, nice and compact. It is useful to know these things. In real life, travelling 10min slower or faster usually doesn't matter, traffic is so high these days anyway (greetings from Stauland). But knowing, if A/C during charging effects cooling of the battery is good to know.

    This is more of a realistic test giving EV drivers information they need to be aware of, nice one Bjorn.

    Interesting video. I didn't get a good impression of range per charging session. Would have been nice to see that. It is unfortunate that adaptive cruise control didn't work well and does not inspire confidence in Stellantis driver aid technology. For me, this would be a deal breaker. It us nice to see the battery is holding up well to stress testing. No charging issues inspires confidence in investing in Stellantis EVs.

    Did some tests with the old platform on the Peugeot e-2008, never seen any issues on rapidgate or overheating. But i have seen slow charging in the wintertime. no battery heating on this model. dont know if the new platform have battery heating?

    I have noticed it on my e208 that the cooling is really good. its an 2020 model so older tech. I noticed with a road trip in France in the mountains that the compressor was really loud. And maybe for 15 mins the AC felt a little less intense but it was still able to keep me cool. It was on a hot summers day lots of hill climbs and regen on the way down when I arrived and plugged in the car it kept cooling and using the compressor for almost an hour. But all in all battery care is good on the stellantis platform . I'm at 100K km's and battery is at 92% soh quite good for the little car.

    This test is verry important imo. Thermal management is also a reason why i would not consider buying a BYD. In summer on a long trip you don't want to be limited by the thermals....

    Nice test 👍 A 500 km challenge would probably expose battery problems too, right?

      Yes, but then I have to optimize for time and not punish the battery.

    Hi Bjorn, a quick question, the obd adapter compatible with ABRP (can't remember the 2 final letters) is still compatible with car scanner or only the previous one that you had used for a long time? Thank you!

    proper heat management at battery level is essential - without the need for the driver to manually intervene - any Korean cars here?

      Ioniq 5/6 and Kia EV6 are among the best on the market there and are Korean.

    Nice test, do it with a korean Car. I've driven 1400km through sweden in one stretch and 700km teough Germany, last week, and not slow, 160 cruise control in Germany and Speedlimit+10% in Sweden, no overheating problems. And no power limit after fast charging. 72 kwh ioniq 5 rwd.

    Bjørn what did you mean with audi/bmw at 1minute within the video? Those cars lack competent battery heating and they overheat as well. Source: Bjørn tests.

    Why do you have a battery cooler if you still reach almost 50°c when charging? ... Too bad you didn't charge to 100%, it would have been interesting to see how warm the battery would have gotten.

    You need to do this test with an eGMP car when it overheats the test is valid if not its too short.😜
    But the problem with not exposing potential penalty points remains.

    12:30 they seriously have an "engine" button in an electric car.

    • @klaasstorme
      @klaasstorme Месяц назад +1

      You can buy it with fossil engine,
      That's why, it's a small thing to adjust, but I see this a lot in multi platform cars!!

    Next generation 600e:
    „Cruise control cannot be activated! Please wipe like a mofo!“
    What Stellantis dares to sell as software is quite a no-go.

    Of course Tesla is the winner of this battery stress test.

    The consumption is clearly too high for a small car with only 150 kW.

      150 kW?

      @@bjornnyland I think he is talking about the motor power (which is 115 kW). Consumption in this test is more than ok, it was a forced test, not an economic one.

    • @Torsten.
      @Torsten. Месяц назад

      @@bjornnyland Sorry 115 kW / 156 hp !
      As a result, the consumption of 23 kWh at approx 115 kmh appears even worse.
