    In Poland the 50 kW charger wave has pretty much ended now. If we get any 50s, then they're newly, domestically produced by companies like Ekoenergetyka. They also produce equipment for Ionity for Central/Eastern Europe and Scandinavia in some extent.

    • @robertn2951

      Are EV sales growing in Poland? I know Jeep Avengers and FIAT 600e are built there but are the Poles buying them? If so, what is the percentage of sales?

    • @DominikN66
      @DominikN66 3 месяца назад +3

      @@robertn2951yes, sales are growing although the economy is hitting us hard, in march share of EV sales among all new cars was like 4% but the share is growing constantly. Infrastructure is also getting better and better. When it comes to the Fiat and Jeep you mentioned I am not sure how does their sale look like - we’re pretty much overrun by Teslas, Volvo, Mini and so on.

    Right now viewing is probably low because it is summer, and people watch football, tour de france, Olympics, etc. Don't change too much, Bjørn 👍 Maybe do 500 km challenges for the new cars and estimate 1000 km times. Keep it up...

    • @bjornnyland

    In the UK, I'm still seeing Shell and GeniePoint installing ABB 50kW, it feels like a total waste of resources.
    Most other networks are rolling out Alpitronic Hyperchargers or Kempower units.

  • @Bo-electric
    @Bo-electric 3 месяца назад

    About the fogging. Some evs does not run the ac-compressor in the winter so the air doesn't get dry and remove the fog. It only goes on for cooling in the summer. My VW e-up 2020 is one of them. Open a window a little bit or change the air flow to only the wind shield. Up with the fan also helps.

    Hi Bjorn. All you do for EV community is amazing. All you do for people wanting to switch to full EV is amazing. Don’t make any changes. Different people looking for different information, maybe combine few tests in shorter video format, that should satisfy us all. Thanks to you I drive Ioniq 5, never before or after I’ve seen or heard you so excited when first time test driving a vehicle. The only vehicle you sabotaged 1000km challenge by pulling in to a charger with over 40% battery charge left on first leg on both occasions. But hey, you have to protect your Tesla Bjon name😉. Keep up the good work

    Do you know when is ABRP showing the max and when the min Battery temperature? I have a feeling it is switching over to the max if the battery is hot, but I'm not sure when it is happening. Making the font size changable would be also great, I also have issues with that sometimes...

  • @Bo-electric

    Maybe you don't have live data on in the abrp. And there is some things you have to change in abrp. Like soc when arriving to the destination and also soc when arriving to a charging place.
    My abrp is just perfect and 100% accurate. You just have to have a dongle and pay some for it to work 100%. The free without car connection works bad in my opinion.

    I think all your old 50kW chargers have been sold to ChargePlace Scotland who seem to think nobody on this earth needs a charger any faster than 50kW………. In fact I think that they would even prefer us all to use their 7kW units. It’s a government agency in Scotland so they have to make do with only enough money to pay crazy high salaries to the senior people and cannot afford new 150 or 350kW chargers…………..

    • @sjb1604
      @sjb1604 3 месяца назад

      Can I be pedantic here....(sorry) ChargePlace Scotland have no say about charger installation they are solely the back office for administrating the charging. Generally the chargers under the CPS system are installed and owned by local authorities who, due to lack of funding, unfortunately, end up having to go for the cheapest option. Its not a great system but at least you generally have to deal with one charging company which to me is a plus rather than playing a version of Uno with RFID cards and apps...

    Regarding ABRP did you follow the route planned by ABRP or the one on in car?
    It is my experience that ABRP continuously tries to lead you to motorways or at least outside towns and cities if it can, even if it takes longer and uses more power. You didn’t have the voice guidance on, so if you didn’t pay attention, and not followed ABRP planned route, it will recalculate each time you deviate. Thus the estimated. SoC at arrival will rise every time.
    I have been bugging ABRP to make a toggle for avoid cities, so I can pick the shortest route and lowest consumption. Because I mostly prefer the shortest route. ABRP is a bit weird on this point.
    Also It does not seem to learn, so it overestimates my consumption on a trip from home to work or back with 2-3% every time.
    You really should try to use Android auto or Apple CarPlay with ABRP.. It gives an entirely different experience than phone only.
    😊😊
