They have stated in the next podcast after that episode that if they just so wanted to rig the matches then they would make Bardock win but i still can't understand why they couldn't just use info that scales Bardock way higher than Omniman if there's more convincing arguments for that than the other way around
@@thermonwilliams1579 The fact that they still did this even after Toriyama's passing and the impact DBZ alone had moreso on the world spans generations compared to the small blip that Invincible has, memes and JK Simmons' performance aside. I'll be frank, I don't know the full feats of Omni-Man, but another group of generally respected scalers, that being the Vsbattles Wiki, has taken his feats from the series and assigned him in the TV Series as "High-Continent" level or possibly higher. In the comics, Omni-Man is ranked as a Low-Planetary character, meaning he can destroy small planets and people with Planet Level durability. We can already confirm that Bardock already has at least the ability to destroy 50 small planets at least with Super Saiyan alone, and in quite a few cases, yes, power level is linear. If we were to simply use the canonical scaling as a low-ball, Vegeta requires a 24,000 Power Level to destroy the Planet Earth. The earth is about 81X more massive than the moon, and we know the moon requires a Power Level of about 300 to destroy from past cases. 300 X 81 is 24,300. With a small error of 300PL points, we get a rough equivalent. Base Bardock already has the calcs to be able to destroy a planet nearly 3X the earth, and that's with "Canon Only" power level feats. With Super Saiyan, that Planet level ascends to 145.8, which means Bardock can destroy a planet nearly 146X the size of earth. For reference, Jupiter is the most massive planet in our solar system, being 318X more massive than earth. Bardock can destroy nearly half of Jupiter. And for everyone, this isn't just destabilization of the planet, this is complete eradication of the planet with pure energy alone. Complete brute force. If Bardock went the Namek destabilization route, he actually could destroy Jupiter, as all he'd need to do is destroy the core with enough power. And all of this undersells the fact that Vsbattles wiki considers the tier above Low Planetary to be someone who can destroy a planet the size of Uranus or Neptune, with Neptune being the higher form (Since Neptune is more massive than Uranus), and Neptune is known to only be 17X more massive than earth. Following PL Logic, Bardock would only need a power level of 413,100 to destroy Neptune, and not even counting a Zenkai Boost, if we assume he never left a 10,000PL when stacking Super Saiyan's 50X on top, that's still a power level of 500,000. So there's no way Bardock is losing to Omni-Man, especially when he achieves Super Saiyan. Even Vsbattles agrees with me. They say that Bardock Base beats the strongest Omni-Man. vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Omni-Man_(Image_Comics) vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Bardock_(Toei)

4:07 I definitely do believe the "universe destroying" Frieza was a massive hyperbole and was either a misstranslation or just inconsistent enough to be wrong. It's definitely an exaggeration that either gets retconned or disproven by many later arcs. But still at the bare minimum final form frieza should scale to anywhere between Large star to solar system level. Seeing as cell was around solar system to multi solar system himself likely just a much higher tier of it. Being like 10- 20 times stronger than frieza. And fat buu starting at galaxy level ending in multi galaxy to maybe even high universal with buhan. After that battle of gods happens goku pulls a low multiversal feat and so on and power levels are more or less consistent. Still bardock being superior to 2nd 3rd form frieza and even his holding back final form with a power level of 6-8 million. Puts him easily at large star level
Wats funny is them making something a thousand times the value look smaller 😂 A THOUSAND TIMES, for reference if there was a bar that represented both their speed omni man would be 2mm whilst bardock is 2m or comparing that to a door, bardock would be the entire door frame whilst Omni pan is the tint ah gap under the door 😂

6:39 toyotaro stated bardock stronger than the gynyu force. Also above the limits of a normal saiyan. Vegeta with a power level of like 30k was considered above the norm by gynyu force members but not anything unheard off. Meanwhile goku arrived and gymyu assumed his power level could be around 60k (he underestimated goku) but that number was still high enough to be considered a mutant of his species like themselves the gynyu force being excelling. The average member besides ginyu himself had a power level of around 40k so bardock could easily be at around 45k power level. This is you ignore ginyu himself. If you assume bardock is also stronger than ginyu then this changes everything cause then Gas' power and therefore bardocks would be more along the heights of 125k with bardock being sufficiently higher to Completely Overwhelm Gas using his limit breaker status. Which means bardock could realistically be anywhere from 130k up to any higher number lower than frieza. Lets say 400k. More likely the lower end like 145k or something. But this is still absolutely ridiculous for a saiyan this early on in the story.
