It doesn't work on my laptop. I used the Shift+F10 and used the commands to disable Internet. Tried unplugging the LAN and Turning off the Wifi as well, but installation process doesn't give me the option to proceed further without getting connected to the internet.
Hi Havok, It works on an Asus, but for some reason, it installs a Virtual Microsoft network connection, and you don't have any internet connectivity. After battling to uninstall the virtual connection, I managed to get the drivers and controllers.
microsoft has patched this recently. Shift + F10 or Shift + FN + F10 no longer works. if you even try windows + R type in cmd, it gives you a screen that says for security and performance this mode of windows only runs microsoft-verified apps. I have been fighting with this for several hours. is there any other way to do this now ? I'm getting so sick of this forced BS from MicroSoft
@@HAVOK not everyone has access to a second computer. I've been struggling with this on a laptop that has windows 11 pre installed. and it has been 100% patched now. you cannot open command prompt at all. even hitting windows key + r and typing in cmd gives a blue popup that states "For security and performance, this mode of windows only runs Microsoft-verified apps"
Stop spamming the same thing over the channel. It literally works if you follow what I have in the video with that iso image I provide. If it bugs you this much, spend $30 and buy a copy of Win 11 with the link in the description.
This doesn't work anymore. There's an additional step, after the first command and restart, open cmd again and type ipconfig /release This will give you the option to proceed with a local account
Crikey! - This fixed my install problems after a new owner of my newly reset Surface laptop managed to get the hard drive BitLockered. Thanks HAVOK!
You hit to install for a business, domain join. That lets you create a local account. Works in 24h2, vanilla, no problem.
Came here for a solution. Got it. Thanks! 💪

I've tried so hard to avoid it and it simply won't let me I hate how C drive / users / is the first 5 letters of my email
I need to boot directly into a program when i power on my pc. So this will remove the login/password prompt when booting windows?

Glad you got it all figured out. Thanks for the support and have a great day!

It works with the iso I noted and supplied in the video.

It definitely still works. Just did it in this video. Glad you found a solution for your instance.
@@HAVOK It definitely does not. At least for the latest Win11 build. Maybe you're using an older build
@@xoy74 It works with the build I provide in the video. I specify that in the video
Now if you really want to impress me do a video installing Windows 11 on virt-manager ( Linux ). That would make for a banging video.
