What an AMAZING week for tennis.
    Nishikori is BACK.
    Alcaraz Sinner Final:
    - Sinner wins first set which Alcaraz dominated
    - Alcaraz switches the momentum in the second after winning a VERY long and entertaining game, and not letting sinner break. takes the second.
    - Third set they're both leveled. Sinner looses in tiebreak after leading 0-3. He only made 1 UE in the next 7 points that Alcaraz won
    Fills run:
    - Beating Fritz, and then beating Shelton in a very tight match
    - Beating Rune in two unbelievable tie breaks
    - Saving 3 consecutive break points in the second, saving a championship point on a specific Humbert serve to which he's been loosing all match.
    Halep is back :)
The fans are the real winners this week!

Carlitos has immense talent, but he also has a genuinely kind heart. Did you notice how restrained his celebrations were during the match? While he wanted to perform at his best, he was mindful not to rub it in his good friend Sinner’s face, who is facing a tough time.

Yea, Alcaraz has intuitive talent that he grasps during his younger years. Sinner started later and not sure if he would have had those instinctual skills but still they are both the best of both worlds of tennis!

Carlos has the ability to sharpen his focus at the crucial moments. In the third set tiebreaker, Jannik looked to run away with the break and the match, but that switch went on in Carlos's mind. He is able to erase negative thoughts and turn things around. It wasn't their best, but way better than most. I love this rivalry! Could these two titans have a rivalry as scintillating as Federer vs Nadal?...

Good analysis generally. But this court is both not indoor and not fast. It's more realistically medium speed, maybe even a little slow, but low bouncing. Shanghai will be very different since it's much faster. If Alcaraz wins that, then that will be even more impressive. But generally speaking, these 2 guys are definitely above the rest of the field and a treat to watch. Hope to see them face each other next year in slam finals

Completely agree about the rivalry, they are going to push each other like the Big 3 did. It’s time for Sinner to catch up, he’s been having the best season of his career, but lost all three matches he played against Alcaraz this year.
I wonder if any other young player will reach their level. There are quite a few with great potential (Fils being one of them), but to actually make it and be consistently great is a big challenge. It’s unbelievable how mature and complete Alcaraz is at such a young age. He just needs to become more effective at taking chances, this could have been a 2:0 win, he was the better player for most part of the 1st set.
Is Shanghai indoor? If Beijing was outdoor we will have to wait for first title😮😮

Gill Gross said it perfectly. what would keep Novak awake and sleepless at night is - if he didn't play high percentage, precise tennis. Unforced errors - not acceptable. Carlos? if he didn't go after his shots, no matter what. Carlos is like - I might loose the match, but I'm not going to loose the player I am.

I don't think both played their best, far from it. Unforced errors aren't the best picture of a match, but they're important and both together hit almost 100 unforced, maybe 60, 70% unusual for them. Alcaraz's shot selection was a nightmare until the third set tiebreak and Sinner service was nonexistent the whole match, all that reflected in lack of chemistry they usually have. Anyway playing this level, both would beat maybe any player on tour right now easily, but since they're very close (still thinking Alcaraz is better) the match turned into a classic battle.
