    I personally leave the steering self alignment at about 95-97, cuz I found that it tends to straighten the car mid-corner if I ever so slightly release the steering, and messes up with the turning radius.

      In real life its suppose to feel like you need to rev match when upshifting and downshifting. I found that it is easy to slide out if your not downshifting and rev matching into lower high rpms. The car will act like your just using a manual gears if your rev-matching even in corners.
      Rev Match Break down:
      -1st gear your always gonna let the clutch go the slowest since your engine wont keep up with slow 2nd gear
      - As you come off the line you will need to slowly release the clutch just like your tires catching grip on the start will feel perfect.
      - Shifting up: Push in the clutch and shift a gear and slowly release the clutch and match your throttle response to the tires as you should feel this naturally right off the bat.
      - Shifting down: Push in the clutch and shift a gear down. After you release the clutch, tap the clutch once more like its a bass kick drum. This will give the flywheel time to catch the camshaft again and tires wont loose traction causing you to spin out on every corner (Experienced this soo much first time on assetto corsa with a wheel).
      - Corners: Break into the corner and curve into your turn (Looking in the direction the track is going helps without even looking at where your driving wheel is). If you need to down shift, rev match shifting down and slowly put your foot on the gas while getting a feel with your clutch and tires and making sure your not going to fast or slow you will no longer spin out.
      - Out of corners: Sometimes you might feel your going a little too fast, tape the clutch and see if that slows you down and then tap the clutch again and go on the gas to get your car to curve out of that corner straight and not wide or too tight. Eventually you will start riding that apron as its one of the shortest ways of overtaking besides compacted straights.
      I am 20 years old and cant even afford my car insurance which I have owned for a year and ride my bike still everywhere. I have learned all of this within a 2 year time span from assetto corsa driving experience by myself with no technique diagrams or algorithms to learn from. Simply testing the waters alone and not listening to others will help you grow. So all Im saying is anyone can learn this and it really does help your connection to the vehicle awareness.

    • @aeve88
      @aeve88 8 месяцев назад +1

      I think the OP hasn't read, or tested, what the dead zones actually do, for more range on the throttle u should lower the outside dead zone...at 100% u would be getting instant full throttle, try a lower setting and it will take longer to get to full throttle but will increase the range and 'feel' therefore making adjusting the throttle easier and smoother!!

    • @CCMalone91

    Question regarding the controller... I tried using my PS5 controller on my pc and this game didn't recognize it. I ordered an Xbox controller and it recognized it. Now, the only issue is that the trigger for gas and brake have zero modulation. It's a binary input, so throttle is either 0 or 100. Same goes with braking. It's impossible to be competitive on that controller with assists off. Is there a setting I've maybe missed, or a way to fix it? Thanks for any suggestions!
    Oh, and for context, I’ve tried these settings, as well as various other deadzone settings, without a difference in the binary input

      I got a PS4 controller last night, and have DSX with steam - but, this caused more problems, as I would be racing, and using the left analog to steer, it brings up telemetry, and scrolls through it, as if im pressing D-Pad buttons - but i'm not... I closed steam to fix that, and DS4 windows, hiding the DS4 and letting it mimick as an Xbox 360 controller with XInput made it function with all the buttons [and more - Razer Raiju tournament edition ]

FH5 has it. Isn’t Forza Motorsport not a game about racing and realistic car handling????? How TF am I supposed to accurately control the car when In straights the cars is a wobbly mess due the lack of steering linearity and sensitivity. Like bro it pissses me off to the highest the degree. Like I wanna enjoy the game but can’t do so due the lack of proper controller settings. Yet they finally added the option for steering linearity on wheels. It’s so god damn backwards. The game is currently unplayable for me due to not being able to improve because of this issue.
