    For the past 25years I am doing self driving. This young gentleman Fassil explanation is so useful and extraordinary. My opinion is always wait till the warenty is complite. Naturely after warenty it is better to have a talented Mechanic and made a good friendship with him.

    I am already following Driverseat and he genuinely explained about car facts in his channel. What he said was true, after 5 years only I went to local garage for servicing my car and still do but provided I will buy most of the parts myself in automobiles shop.

    Sometimes when i started my micra car with push button the Rear View mirrors did not open....when i told the trial mechanic....he removed the mobile charger and started the engines...now both the mirrors opened nicely...
    Mechanic is like a Doctor and right Diagnosis is his asset...All mechanics should develop their diagnostic skills....

    @6:50 Well mentioned point.
    It is called service manual.
    I recommend all to get one copy of your own car. It will give clear idea , eg- The clutch play should be _mm it will be clearly written. If overtightened or overplay , it won't cause major issue, but what happens is you lose the durability or longetivity of vehicle .

    Great Fazil. It is a very good show. For past 10 years i am doing only with Company service. But facing an unhappiness always. However i am still with them. Even yesterday, my co-driver seat is filled with water at foot step. Obvious it is because of water path of AC is not clean. I was asking them to clear for past 3 services, not doing it properly. YES inspection @ delivery cannot be doing 100%. It is possible only to believe their words certain time and to carry this pain.

    Good conversation,. my opinion is company service is better in many ways, first they are more experienced in tackling the problem, next the car manufacturer always updates the required techniques, next we always contact the manufacturer and can give the problems faced from the dealer even after warrenty ...

    I think after warranty it is better to do service outside. We can see what the technician is doing and also save money. For changing any components we can buy original parts and get it changed at local garage. We can save a lot.

    If it's anything related to mechanical problem, do with local mechanic. If anything related to electronic, go for service center. I had a misfire in Chevrolet Spark and company service found the issue with OBD and fixed it with 12k. Local mechanic doesn't know what exact issue and spent 15k before going to company service. So it's a great experience for me.

    Been in this industry for more than 10yrs, and the only difference between local and dealership service is, dealership are accountable whereas the local garage cannot be held accountable. Also the dealerships engineers are trained and technical information/ updates are available with them whereas local garage will not have it.

      Been a customer to both dealership and mechanics for the last 12 years and my experience is dealership are good for your vehicle but may add unnecessary services in the bill. They have margins and may include unnecessary part changes to reach the sales margins.
      Trusted mechanics are good but where to find Trusted mechanics and how much we can trust them
      Is a question.

    6:27 - this is where authorized service centered stand out. Prefect tuning is possible only by them. ONly drawback is the higher service cost especially the labor charges.

    Dear Sir
    Very nice programme...
    I normally service my Micra car at Nissan Ambattur and they are very transparent and allow me to check their service activities and clarify my doubts thro the Advisors and if necessary with their GM also...
    As suggested by the presenter we can ask for trial for noise and for example Lower Arm problems due to speed breakers...and we should also prepare a check list for before and after service...

    hello sir your doing very well... doing all sort of knowledgeable videos. all the very best for the future videos. just do one video for different types of lamps used in car. i mean the purposes of each lamp like head lamp, fog lamp, dlr lights. likewise why it is used and purposes of it.

    Timely uploaded interview....Many of us having this question in their mind. It is better to be safe doing the service at company authorized service center until your car is under warranty. At the same time one must be careful while doing the service at the authorized service center people should not mislead...to avoid you must do little home work about your car.

    Very good information. Thanks a lot. I would like to also inform you that, some service center don't cooperate with the owners when asked about service done. As we (customers) have less knowledge on the technical aspects of the car and they (service center) are in hurry to deliver and go for the next booking for service.

    I am owning ford eco sport, diesel variant for last 4 years. Still now Maintaining my car service with company assistance. I never feel.they charged high. Maximum was 6000 RS charged one . Normally they charge around 4000 -4500 per 10 k kilometres. The most important thing is , we cam trust their parts and vechicle experience Wer I seen lacking in outside service. Some may do proper but not definitely not most of them. I always trust company service.

      Not all the company is like Ford... Most of thr service center and companies are 100% fraud... Only few are genuinely care about customer like Ford

    The big difference I felt is the local garage people mostly broke the plastic trim clips or the treads without their knowledge but they somehow manage to put it in and in long run we end up getting rattling noises this same may happens in company service centre's too but it's less
